We really enjoyed eating there, but... All of a sudden the portions are smaller and the prices have risen in the same proportion and then the killer argument: “Card payment is not possible” The food was initially better and also very tasty, maybe it's the chef, you know Not . Maybe it will happen again Zwenkau needs restaurants like this and is not ready for “fancy” restaurants

Ordered takeaway today and ate there too. The food was delicious and even the dishes to take away were packaged very neatly. We had 3 dishes and it was ready in 10 minutes. Real praise!

Have ordered again for a long time and were disappointed again. The wrong dishes were packed or some things were missing and unfortunately the taste was very neutral. It's a shame we would have liked to be here before... but not anymore

For years I was discouraged from going to this restaurant. After hearing several people speak positively about the restaurant, we decided to go there to eat. The staff tried a lot and were very friendly and helpful. The food came quickly. I found the restaurant itself to be dark, even though there were large windows. There was an ouzo on the house at the start and end of the stay. First of all, we had to season the salad a lot more. I had gyros with metaxa sauce. I got a fatty cream sauce with a few pieces of vegetables in it. I didn't particularly like it. My partner also said that the food wasn't particularly good enough to come back to visit again.

Wir hatten eine jeweils eine Suppe bestellt (Trachanas- /Tomatensuppe), Gyros und Lammhaxe mit Bratkartoffeln. Dazu gab es eine Salatgarnitur. Die Tomatensuppe machte auf uns den Eindruck, dass sie frisch aus der Tüte zusammen gemixt wurde. Keinerlei Geschmack, wässrig und lieblos mit ein paar Krümeln Gratinkäse bestreut. Als Suppeneinlage fungierten wohl ein paar Reisnudeln, die die Suppe nicht wirklich besser machten. In der Speisekarte klang die Trachanassuppe interessant, war jedoch in der Umsetzung nicht gut gemacht. Wie die Tomatensuppe völlig gewürzlos, teilweise kalt, als ob sie kurz in der Mikrowelle war und mit massenhaft Gratinkäse bestreut, der mit jedem Löffel meterweise Fäden zog. Ich bilde mir ein, in der griechischen Küche würde Feta vorwiegend verwendet werden. Die Hauptgerichte waren ebenso katastrophal, wie die Vorspeisen: Das Gyros war trocken wie Papier und wahrscheinlich in der Fritteuse tot gegart. Die Salatgarnitur war lieblos auf den Teller geknallt worden. Die Lammhaxe mit Bratkartoffeln und grünen Böhnen: Bratkartoffeln waren fetttriefende Kartoffelscheiben, die in der Fritteuse zubereitet wurden. Keinerlei Röstaromen, keine mediterranen Gewürze, nicht mal Salz. Die Lammhaxe hatte eine zadderige Haut und war stellenweise kalt. Ich hatte nicht den Eindruck, dass sie im Ofen wenigstens überbacken worden wäre. Als wir zahlen wollten, fragte uns die Kellnerin, ob es geschmeckt hätte. Wir beantworteten die Frage wahrheitsgemäß mit "Nein!".

All in all, it was pretty good. The only thing that shoddy about it was that they added two extra drinks to the bill was a bit of a blow to my confidence.

I really enjoy coming here. Good food, friendly service, usually space and, recently, every two weeks, bar music live on the grand piano. Recommendation.

Salad was not crisp and was obviously out of a bag. The bread served with it was dry. The waitress put two sauces on the table with the meal and didn't explain what they were. In addition, the sauces were not homemade either. Visually it was ok. Furnishings like the Greek restaurants of the 80s and 90s...

All points of criticism were addressed directly in the restaurant. Unfortunately, there was no real response from the staff.

*Edit* We went out for dinner again yesterday. And what can I say... it was great. Great ambience inside, delicious food (ok, the garlic potatoes are still there ;)), which was also beautifully prepared and friendly and very attentive service. You now deserve the 5 stars for that. We'd love to come back. Unfortunately it won't get more than three stars, My meal, the king pan, was completely unseasoned, although the meat was good. The garlic potato slices are finished products from the frozen food department, which is the lowest level, even if this is guaranteed to be disputed here. Tzatziki was good. The service was friendly, but somehow distant. You can definitely eat there, but it's not a highlight.

We ate here for the first time today. The first impression was a very pleasant atmosphere and a very nice reception. Food was prepared quickly and was very tasty. We were very satisfied all around. There are definitely 5 ***** + from us

For example, I'm reading the "meat of the week" on the lunch menu right now, with two kinds of vegetables ⁉️ Grilled vegetables and princess beans⁉️ Better/more appropriate would probably be either vegetables or the beans and instead of the 'second' vegetable side dish, something with potatoes would be better! And of course there is definitely no herb butter to choose from with the beef steak! If you offer steak, then you should also have herb butter! Or at least can do it if you wish! Not a big deal! Unfortunately it doesn't speak for you! And unfortunately the service staff are almost always not cut out for this position! No smile, inflexible, unprofessional etc!! 👎

It was delicious, I've been there twice and everything was perfect. Food, service, and ambience are nice. I also had no problem with the orders or the staff as stated in the reviews here.

Another successful evening. Food, service and ambience great. This time we were personally cooked for by the boss. Our guests who didn't know the restaurant yet (why?!? I have to ask) were completely thrilled, the quality, quantity and taste were excellent. We wish the whole Athens team a merry Christmas.
