The food is very good. Excellent value for money. Unfortunately, it's a bit too noisy, as the tables are quite close together. We'd gladly come again.

If you're looking for fast service, this is the place for you. We'd barely sat down when the ouzo arrived. Then we ordered drinks, which also came very quickly. We ordered food, and the salad arrived almost immediately. The salad was very bland; I, as a hobby cook, can make it much better, and the same goes for other Greek restaurants. The food was very tasty, no complaints there, except for the garlic potatoes; they could have done without the small amount of tzatziki. The atmosphere is, well, far too loud, and the staff much too rushed. We didn't feel welcome at all. We didn't even get a chance to have a beer. We didn't think the price/performance ratio was acceptable. Although it seems to be popular with the locals in Freiberg, we won't be returning.

The food was delicious, the service was sometimes slow to come to the table (it was very busy), but the staff were very friendly. We'd gladly come again.

I can highly recommend this Greek restaurant; the food was delicious, although the portion was a bit small, but if I had ordered something else, well, that would have been my own fault. The price-performance ratio is good.

We've been here with our family for dinner many times at Freiberg's "Artos." This time, too, was almost flawless. We had ordered for 6 p.m., but we arrived by 5:15 p.m. The waiter who greeted us acted a bit strange, saying it wasn't 6 p.m. yet. Perhaps it should be added that the restaurant had just opened, at 5 p.m., and was empty, so there were plenty of free tables. By the time we finished around 6:30 p.m., there were still several empty tables to be seen.... We had four ouzos up front. When ordering drinks, he tried to force two 1/4-liter bottles of wine on an elderly couple, even though a quarter was enough for them. They've always gotten that without any problems.... The other drinks were fine. Our dinner order also went very well, and we enjoyed it very much, as always. For my wife and me, the garlic potatoes were very oily, but they still tasted great. Perhaps that's also because we eat very low-fat foods at home. In the end, the four of us were full and satisfied. An olive would have been a great finishing touch on the small salad... ;-) PS: Our other servers (a man and a woman) were very good, quick, friendly, attentive, and entertaining, so I'll omit the "one-person slip-up."

We almost let other reviews put us off. But you should always form your own opinion! We were very satisfied with the service and the food. Everything was fresh and the meat was cooked well. We'll definitely be back.

We were convinced today by the good reviews 🤣🤣🤣truly an impressive building, but the food, the last Metro canteen. Burnt or half-raw gyros, a very small portion, carelessly dropped on the plate. Garlic, greasy bread and no garlic, really, it was all a complete disgrace... For a lot, a lot of money, a lot of food wasted without any sense or reason... a small apple spritzer costs €5.01, a regular beer costs €5.10, the service is so-so, you can forget about it. In every respect, you should give this temple a wide berth... but these days people eat anything 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ For us, a no-go. More flour in the sauce, like Metaxa... a joke in the bag 🫤🫤🫤

Unfortunately, it's deteriorated considerably over the years. It's very loud and hard to hear anyone. The service is okay; the staff is nice and friendly, but it takes forever to be served and to get your drinks. A few orders have also been lost. The food is okay, nothing special, but expensive and small (the portions have shrunk; they used to be much larger!). All in all, I wouldn't recommend it.

First of all: my standards for Greek restaurants are very high thanks to our local Greek restaurant. When we arrived, we were immediately shown to a free table without having to wait, even though it was a Saturday + Bergstadt Festival. Very good 👍🏼 After we ordered drinks, one of the three drinks was brought incorrectly: a Kiba instead of a Kirsch Weizen... It can happen, and the mistake was quickly corrected, within a minute. Personally, I'm not very satisfied with the drinks. Pepsi instead of Coca-Cola and 7Up instead of Sprite are not my thing at all. The appetizer salad arrived quickly and tasted good. Fresh, crisp, and delicious. At our Greek restaurant, they also added a tomato wedge and cucumber slice. It would work here too, as they're practically the exact same salads. As for the food, everything was excellent. The food was juicy, flavorful, tasted fresh, and it was served quickly. When we were finished, I heard from the next table that one of the chicken pieces was probably bad... I can't confirm that, everything was good for us, but maybe you should still be careful. All in all, the visit was worth it, and I can recommend eating here ✌🏼👍🏼🇩🇪🇬🇷

Can only recommend everything perfect

Salad was not crisp and was obviously out of a bag. The bread served with it was dry. The waitress put two sauces on the table with the meal and didn't explain what they were. In addition, the sauces were not homemade either. Visually it was ok. Furnishings like the Greek restaurants of the 80s and 90s...

Food is always delicious, nice atmosphere, always worth a visit

I can only recommend it's always nice to be there and to be welcomed and served in a friendly manner.

More on the pricier side but it’s 100% worth it. The food is amazing and is made fresh. The drinks are also really good and you’re served with Greek vodka shots as soon as you’re seated. The staff are really helpful and friendly. I would recommend to reserve a table beforehand because it can get quite busy.

We got seats for two people at short notice for New Year's Eve 2024. Despite the restaurant being full, no waiting time, quick and friendly service! Food was delicious. Thanks!

As in previous years, I celebrated my birthday here. The food is always delicious and plentiful, the staff is always friendly. Like every year, the dog was allowed to come along. The fact that he is a list dog is not a problem. We never had any problems because of it. The dog really appreciated the company of a very lovely family with great children at the next table. We will continue to celebrate our birthdays there in the future and come to feast every now and then. An old man from our group, who is usually a bad eater, ate the entire portion because he liked his fish so much. No other restaurant can do that.

We ordered to be picked up. Gyros with garlic potatoes, salad and tzatziki. The only thing that was edible was the salad that was served as a side dish. A small bottle of wine was also very nice, but unfortunately it didn't make the food any better. The meat was completely hard and dry. The potatoes weren't homemade, just thrown in the deep fryer and garlic with French fries seasoning on top. It's a shame about the money :( we really expected more for the price

We spontaneously reserved a table today and got it. We received a very friendly welcome. I was able to order grape leaves even though they weren't on the menu. Thanks for that! It was a very nice evening, clear recommendation

This is the best Greek there is between Chemnitz and Dresden. We were last there with family on Christmas Day evening. Really great cuisine.

Went here spontaneously. A beautiful Greek restaurant, with very tasty food and great service. We were even given a small bottle of red wine on Boxing Day! Tips can be paid by card. We would love to come back if it weren't so far away. 😅

The food (lamb fillet) was ok, but nothing more. It was just too dry and a few minutes less in the pan would have done the meat some good. We absolutely cannot recommend the garlic bread. Way too dry and hardly any taste. There was also just an absolute mini dollop of tzatziki, which was very tasty. The waitress seemed overwhelmed, simply ran past us several times and served guests who arrived much later before us, who therefore received their food sooner. This has to get better, as does the food! In terms of ambience, this restaurant is highly recommended.

The food was very tasty and it was also offered at a fair price. The service is super nice, but you have to be prepared that it can get very loud when there are a lot of visitors, but that fits the ambience perfectly. Everything is also beautifully decorated and clean.

Very bad. There are double standards here. The regulars get their salad straight away even though they just came after one and we've been waiting for an hour and still haven't had a salad. Not to mention how long you wait for the food. Never again! Not recommended

I've known the restaurant since I was a child, I ate there a lot with my parents and often order something to take away. Unfortunately, I've now noticed that not only have the prices risen, no, the portions are getting smaller and smaller, where you would normally eat at the restaurant Chicken pan has 2-3 chicken breast fillets on the plate, there is only 1 chicken breast fillet, the same thing with garlic potatoes, there used to be a lot more, I wonder why I gave a tip, the fact that you pay more for what you get for less seems normal everywhere to make everything more expensive and at the same time serve less.

We have been visiting this restaurant for years. The food here has always tasted good. Unfortunately, it hasn't been that way lately. Instead of vegetables, only onions are served, the fish is getting smaller and smaller and is probably not grilled but fried in oil, which doesn't taste good at all. We only come to this restaurant because the service is very good. Vitalij in particular puts a lot of effort into ensuring that the guests are satisfied.

For me, parking options are an important deciding factor. The price is right because everything is right and the portions are large.

I went to this restaurant for my birthday. As soon as you entered this restaurant, you had to walk through a group of smokers who were standing right in front of the entrance. This could certainly be solved differently, because it is very disruptive. In a restaurant, the more chairs and tables in a small space, the more sales. The seating is very cramped, the staff seems very stressed despite there being fewer guests and sometimes forgets an order. The food was average and I was honestly disappointed. I definitely won't be going there again.

We also received mail from Google from the owner threatening a lawsuit because we were never there. This probably happens more often here when you write a negative review that is unfortunately true. So tip keep the invoice to confirm attendance. I hope the Google Timeline is enough for us. Maybe think about whether some things could be improved. Best regards.

Since they wanted to have my three star rating deleted (due to no customer contact, proof of the opposite is my Google timeline), I now have to correct it and make it a 2 star rating. I've eaten there several times and the quality, like the interior design, has gone downhill over the years. It doesn't matter what kind of food you eat, it all tastes the same. Except the liver, which can also taste sour, which of course represents the freshness of the product🫣.

It's the worst restaurant in Freiberg! Takeaway food, no card payment, they had to drive me there and then let them leave again instead of telling me on the phone. After I went out to get money again, I took pide bread and a meat platter with me, it was completely cold and the pide bread was worse than rubber, the edges were so hard that you couldn't eat it. The garlic potatoes are completely disgusting and can no longer be eaten. Instead of me, give me a proper look He took extra time to give change back to make me feel bad and then tell me he should take the tip. (then it went quickly) Extremely unfriendly, the door is closed with drunk people because they are overwhelmed with the distribution of space and the food is as bad as possible. The atmosphere is very nice and we were served quickly and friendly. Unfortunately the food is no longer up to date. Starts with alcohol as a welcome and at the end - in my opinion it doesn't work at all. The pens and the coloring sheet for children were positive. Unfortunately, the children's menu - like almost everywhere else - consists of greasy bric-a-brac. I ordered fish with Mediterranean vegetables. In the end it was a large portion of fish (positive), hardly any vegetables, but a huge mountain of rice and a fatty sauce. The salad served with it also disappeared under a fatty sugar dressing. I thought it was a shame and I couldn't eat most of my food. Greek food is actually awesome.

Always good and plentiful food. Very tasty, we have been going there several times a year for many, many years and we are always very satisfied. Reservation is an advantage as it is always full on Friday and Saturday evenings. Of course, as in every restaurant, the current prices have increased slightly. Lamb platter was just under €16 now almost €19. as comparison. Update2024 - Lamb platter now €23.50 Update August 2022: Even on a weekday for lunch there are enough and delicious dishes from the reduced lunch menu. These are cheaper and fill you up. It's all ok.

Das Restaurant beeindruckte mit freundlichem und kompetentem Personal. Obwohl der Willkommens Ouzo angeboten wurde, haben wir ihn höflich zurückgegeben, da wir keinen Alkohol trinken. Das Ambiente war ansprechend, und der kleine Salat vor dem Hauptgang fügte sich perfekt ein. Die Kellnerin war hilfsbereit, besonders bei Fragen zur Schärfe der Soße. Vor der Bezahlung überraschte uns das Personal mit einem Lolli, begleitet von einem humorvollen Hinweis "ohne Alkohol" eine nette Geste, die den Besuch abrundete.

Wir waren hier am Samstag das erste Mal Essen. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker und absolut empfehlenswert. Ich habe noch nie solch gute Knoblauchkartoffeln gegessen wie hier. Portionen sind ordentlich und sehr lecker angerichtet. Bedienungen sind sehr aufmerksam und flott. Leider muss ich allerdings einen Stern abziehen, da hier nicht auf die Maskenpflicht geachtet wird und die Bedingungen hier absolut gar keine Maske tragen.

Zum Samstag Abend war es natürlich gut gefüllt, aber der Service hat wunderbar gearbeitet. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Bestes griechisches Restaurant das ich je besucht habe. Super Essen, tolles Ambiente und sehr nette Bedienung.

Bisher waren wir immer sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen, dem Service und dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Am 21.10.23 waren wir leider sehr enttäuscht von unserem Mittagessen auf das wir uns so gefreut hatten. Es fing mit dem Service an. Wir waren auf den Treppenlift angewiesen. Als wir einen Mitarbeiter baten, diesen zu aktivieren, stöhnte er und verdrehte seine Augen. Als wir dann im ziemlich voll besetzten Restaurant Platz genommen hatten wurde uns der Ouzo schon fast auf den Tisch geknallt. Wir kamen uns wie eine Belastung und nicht wie Gäste vor. Das Personal war definitiv unterbesetzt. Als das Essen kam wurden wir dann nochmals enttäuscht. Die Portionen waren zu früheren ziemlich geschrumpft und es fehlte an Würze. Obendrein bekamen wir ein Essen, das wir nicht bestellt hatten. Der Kellner darauf angesprochen, reagierte ungehalten und sah sich im Recht ohne jegliches Entgegenkommen. Wir beliesen es schweren Herzens dabei. Die gestiegenen Preise sind für die kleineren Portionen, die Speisenqualität und den miesen Service absolut ungerechtfertigt. Schade, wir waren bis dato gerne Gäste im Athos. Leider kann ich das Restaurant im Moment nicht weiterempfehlen.

Sehr gute griechische Küche. Ouzo vor und nach dem Essen. Umfangreiche Getränke, sehr netter Service und sauberes WC. Der gelungene Abend/ die gute Familien -Feier. Gelungenes Ambiente.

Geschmacklich schon bei bessere Griechen gegessen. Vor allem die Knoblauchkartoffeln waren sehr fad. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr ansprechend. Frische Farben und neue Möbel.
