Restaurant - Bar "Mythos" in Freiberg

We were there yesterday with friends and had pre-ordered. It was very crowded. The food was excellent. The price was right.

We often come to Freiberg for work and usually don't have much time to eat. Nevertheless, we always enjoy stopping by Mythos on the central market square – we're always greeted with a warm smile and truly delicious food. Today we're enjoying two perfectly grilled rump steaks, but the calamari and schnitzel are also absolute highlights. And of course, there's the full range of Greek cuisine, all fresh and expertly prepared. The people are incredibly friendly, the service is quick and attentive – you simply feel at ease here. Anyone visiting Freiberg looking for a reliably good restaurant (whether Greek or not) will find Mythos to be the perfect choice. We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the food was already very cold, the music was loud, and somehow every dish tasted the same because of the Metaxa sauce.

A very nice, cozy Greek restaurant. You feel right at home here; they're very hospitable. We were there for lunch on a public holiday and got a table without a reservation. Of course, we were offered ouzu before the main course, as well as a complimentary salad. Everything was delicious.

Mythos has been our first choice for many years when we're in Freiberg. The service is incredibly friendly, and the food hasn't lost any of its quality over the years. A big thumbs up! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

We ate there at lunchtime; the service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere cozy, the wait times short, and of course, the food was delicious. Perfect, what more could you want? 💓

A week ago, four of us ate there. All of us for the first time. The incredibly appealing menu made it really difficult for us to choose between several dishes. 😅 In the end, we all chose different dishes, and absolutely EVERYTHING tasted delicious! The service was great! Very attentive and friendly staff. We think the 5 stars are absolutely deserved! The sofas are also super comfortable, and because they're placed side by side with their high backrests, you have plenty of privacy and don't feel disturbed by other guests. Keep it up! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Freiberg! 👍🏼

We ended up eating here by accident, but we were delighted with the service and quality of the food! The food is fresh and very well presented, and the portions are generous! The ouzo is excellent, especially the red one we were offered as a farewell. The waiters are very friendly and smiling. The non-alcoholic cocktails are a big plus. We were with our dog, and it wasn't a problem either; he got a bowl of water! Keep up the good work! We'll definitely be back!

I felt like sitting down in a beer garden in the beautiful summer weather. Shortly after opening, I found a nice, shady spot. After a short while, I received friendly service. The food was delicious and the Rechenberger beer was great. Excellent service, I'd gladly go back.

The food quality was very poor. The drinks were warm, so if I charge five euros for a glass of Coke, then it should be properly chilled from the glass bottles and not from the net Coke. The price is ridiculous and excessive; they need to work harder on the quality. Never again. This was a second chance.

The staff was quite overwhelmed. Almost 50% of our order was mixed up, forgotten or two starters ordered with the main course were brought to the other starters. The staff was still friendly, but there probably won't be another visit.

The food was very good, but the service was unpleasant. We were not informed that you cannot pay with VISA and MasterCard. The service lady ostentatiously put her hands in my wallet and at the end she behaved in a racist way. I will not remember this restaurant well.

Food was tasty but Staff made me feel discriminated, also thay not accept Visa and master card and there Is no info about that. At the end I was running around after some cashpoint.

Just had dinner there. Of 7 dishes, 4 were put together incorrectly. Unfortunately, no one understood the return. Something else would also be brought that wasn't ordered. Very bad. Was the last time for me. Too bad

Greece - short vacation with typical food. Ouzo, salad, starters, lamb, 🐠, beef - beers, wines, cocktails - lots of choice, family-friendly service, toilet one flight of stairs down. Parking on the Untermarkt, free on Saturdays from 6 p.m.!

A frequently visited restaurant with a great ambience inside and out. The food is very delicate and spicy and the drinks are great! The prices are right too. In the outdoor area you can enjoy the beautiful Untermarkt backdrop. The employees are polite and courteous! A small salad as a starter, plus an ouzo and an ouzo (or schnapps of your choice) with the bill is standard there 👍🏼.

A typical Greek restaurant with a well-known menu. The food is tasty, the service is fast and friendly, there's nothing to complain about. There is a star deduction for the fact that somehow only the EC card works, credit cards are not accepted, I personally don't think it's very modern, but okay.

Cozy atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food...what more could you want...and a view of the Freiberg Cathedral, which is worth seeing.

We ate very well here and quenched our thirst with homemade lemonades (in the photo on the left: strawberry mint, on the right blackberry mint). Portion size just right to fill you up. Friendly service and a clear recommendation.

Delicious gyros with metaxa sauce

The four of us got a table without a reservation. We were there quite early, but it probably wouldn't have worked later. Right at the beginning there was a welcome ouzo, also a non-alcoholic drink for children.

Ich bin mit der Familie bisher gern dort gewesen. Das Essen ist super. Aber jetzt wurde die Bezahlmethode mit Visa- Karte abgeschafft. Das ist für mich der Grund diese Gaststätte zukünftig zu meiden, schade eigentlich und völlig unverständlich.

Besonders zu empfehlen sind hier die Knoblauch Kartoffeln. Das Gyros auch ne komplette 10/10. Auch Mitten in der Woche alle auf der höhe, ganz große Klasse.

Wir waren nach dem Weihnachtsmarkt hier essen. Sehr schönes Ambiente, guter Service und leckeres Essen. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

4 Sterne mit der Tendenz zu 5 Sternen. Den 5. hätte es für ein typisch griechisches Dessert gegeben. In wie weit Tiramisu und Panna Cotta auf die Speisekarte passen, könnte man streiten.... Aber... dafür hatten unsere Hauptspeisen eine tolle Tellersprache und waren sehr gut im Geschmack. Leider waren die Teller kalt und unser Essen hat sehr schnell an Temperatur verloren. Service ist top. Sehr gastfreundlich und keine lange Wartezeit.

Sehr schönes Lokal. Man sitzt sehr sehr bequem. Das Personal ist absolut freundlich. Das Essen kam schnell und war sehr lecker.

Das Essen ist wirklich gut. Wen die Lautstärke durch Musik und laute andere Gäste nicht stört, sollte das Lokal aufsuchen, die Gerichte sind es wert.

Ganz toller Grieche, wir saßen bei strahlendem Sonnenschein draußen auf dem wunderschönen Untermarkt. Der Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam, hat uns aber in Ruhe alles auswählen lassen. Das Essen war geschmacklich ausgezeichnet und optisch ein Highlight. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant weiter und kommen gern noch mal zum Essen.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Die Knoblauch Kartoffeln sowie das Zaziki sind der Hammer. Ich war im Spätsommer dort, somit konnte man draußen sitzen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich würde das Restaurant jederzeit empfehlen.
