We were here on a Friday evening in winter because we wanted to eat something between 9 and 10 p.m. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, but later a few guests came to drink. It was very cold in the restaurant itself, even though the heaters were on. The furnishings are great, the place is clean - even if everything seems a bit older. The lighting concept needs to be reworked properly, as not even half of the lamps are in operation, but they are in colder light and then bright - that makes it a bit uncomfortable. The service was very nice, the food came quickly. We all just had the potatoes with gyros - you can never go wrong with that. Unfortunately, the meat was only lukewarm, but noticeably not freshly cut from the spit - more like half warmed up..? The potatoes were hot, the salad was fresh. Afterwards, we briefly asked ourselves whether we were really in the right restaurant, since we are not from Essen and had chosen the restaurant via Google and its reviews - but couldn't find it here. It was cheap for that. As in other reviews, parking is a disaster, as the restaurant unfortunately does not have its own spaces and the area is very full of parking.

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten mal hier, das Restaurant war immer leer, denke das Geschäft läuft überwwiegend im Lieferservice... Meine Tochter und ich bestellten den großen Salat und einmal Souvlaki mit Pommes. Wir haben uns beides geteilt, waren hochzufrieden und satt. Das Essen ist hervorragend, Atmosphäre entspannt, so wie wir das eigentlich aus Tavernen in Griechenland kennen. Man fühlt sich hier einfach wohl ! Ganz großes Kompliment und definitiv eine Empfehlung , wir kommen sicher wieder !!!
