Very good Greek restaurant with a large selection! It's recently been under new management, but that doesn't come at the expense of quality! I think it's great that the restaurant will probably open again! It's a shame that it's been closed since 2020 because there isn't a similar restaurant near us within walking distance where you can eat well and drink a delicious draft beer. Therefore from me☆☆☆☆☆ stars.

Nun muss ich auch mal eine Rezension abgeben. Wir sind schon lange Kunden bei The Greek. Früher war das Essen Preislich TOP! Now it's just expensive and the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Our gyros were very greasy and the fries weren't particularly crispy. The tuna salad really shocked me for €9.90!!! The kidney beans were completely missing - the bowl could have been made much fuller... a shame

Back then, we were regulars at the first location across from the church because the food was very good. But then it happened that we were accused of leaving the restaurant without paying and a guest recorded it on video. After we said that the video should be shown as evidence and that the police were welcome to come as requested by the owner, it was quickly dismissed and that it wasn't possible right now, etc. This made us, as regular guests who were always there, enjoyed eating there and stopped by, avoid this restaurant, also because we were perdu back then. I don't know what it looks like today. The boss is apparently the same as back then, I won't say anything more about it. I hope the quality of the kitchen is still good.

Food always tastes very tasty. The pizza is also a real eye-catcher and tastes first class. Best Greek in Castrop.

Became aware of hip surgery and rehab in Hüls through google maps! I was really in the mood for shish kebab, which was praised several times! On the way the Hellas Grill is somewhat hidden in the residential area! Not exactly inviting from the outside and not much better inside either! The way to the toilet was adventurous and there were lots of stairs, no paper to dry your hands! But now the positive!!! My shish kebab was very tender and buttery, a good portion and plenty of sauce, which was also very good! Plus the nice thick fries and a really good mayo that you rarely get these days! In addition, a few raw onions were perfect for my taste!!! I was completely satisfied and full too! The boss was quite taciturn but was visibly happy about the praise about the food! Lots of regular customers who got their food! The next table had onion schnitzel with properly braised onions so I have to go there again before I go home! Greetings from Moers!

Abzocke!!! Nach einem schönen Essen kam der Schock! Nach der Bitte um die Rechnung wurden wir gefragt, wie wir bezahlen möchten. Wir bezahlten bar. Da kam die Rechnung mit dem Hinweis des Kellners, dass ja die MwSt erhöht wurde. Zuvor kannten wir nur die Preise aus der Karte und wurden auch auf nichts anderes hingewiesen. Die Getränke waren moderat erhöht, die Vorspeisen um 25-30% und die Hauptspeisen blieben gleich, sodass man auf eine Runde Summe auf der Rechnung kam. Wir waren wie geschockt und haben mit Trinkgeld bezahlt. Angemerkt sei noch, dass wir alleine im Gastraum waren. Bei Freunden, die kurz zuvor bei vollem Gastraum bar gezahlt hatten, galten die Preise der Karte. Also echt miese Masche, wir sind bedient! Die Preise aus der Karte hätten wir gerne bezahlt, selbstverständlich! Beim bezahlen wurden jedoch höhere Preise verlangt, als in der Karte ausgewiesen waren.

Super Pizza, Super Gyros, Super Service!

It was a small restaurant but the food was 10/10, the meat was really good and the pita was really fluffy. It's been a long time since I've eaten a good pita gyros, I'll definitely be back and the price is really cheap
