I visited the Rhodes Kitchenbar with my dear friend and we absolutely loved it!! Authentic, high-quality and incredibly delicious Greek cuisine, a super pleasant atmosphere, great value for money! We received a very friendly welcome and the service left nothing to be desired! An all-round great evening, thank you!😊 Thank you very much again for the great gift for my friend's son. ♥️
We'll definitely be back soon!! 😊🥰
We are now satisfied regular guests and have been there countless times. The food was excellent across the board and the people were super friendly and very attentive. What more could you want? :-)
Update: after numerous visits, it's now my favorite Greek place in LA. A real insider tip are the pork medallions in orange sauce or the dishes with Metaxa sauce.
Update 2:
The extension, which now has direct access to the outside area, has become really beautiful.
Very friendly and attentive hosts, accommodating, warm, and witty, high-quality, delicious food, generous portions, a great location by the lake, and a very pleasant ambiance. Our spontaneous visit was thoroughly satisfactory.
Everything was fine until the starter. Since the restaurant was full, they forgot our main course and when they found out, they quickly tried to conjure up dishes where the meat was still almost raw. Then you are told “we always do it like this”. Gave it back, it was a disappointment.
This Greek restaurant is 120% recommended! Everything is just right here. The super friendly service is so much fun and you feel completely comfortable. The food is awesome. Price performance is perfectly fine and the service is very attentive. Great ambience and stylish furnishings. Small outdoor terrace with tables and chairs. We have eaten here several times and are always thrilled.
We were here for the first time on 3/15/25 and had gyros with tzatziki. Tzatziki was ok, but gyros were very fatty with real pieces of fat on the meat. There are no roasted aromas either, so very atypical gyros. Unfortunately we didn't like it at all. We also ordered fries. But these weren't fries, they were thicker, unseasoned fried potatoes and also too soft. It's a shame because I love fries! The side salad was from a bucket from the wholesale market, you could tell that it wasn't homemade. And way too sour, so not even refined. It also only consisted of a pile of ready-made coleslaw, a slice of cucumber, a slice of tomato and an olive. Unfortunately we won't be coming back ;)
