My wife and I went there for lunch today, and what can I say? It was amazing! We both had gyros with rice and tzatziki. My wife had it with pita bread, and I had it with salad. To our surprise, we were served a small bowl of soup to start (potato soup that tasted sensational), and for dessert, a small bowl of semolina with strawberry sauce. We also had two ouzos. The main course was delicious and the portion was generous. The staff was fantastic—attentive and made us feel valued as guests. The ambiance wasn't your typical Greek restaurant; it was more modern and clean, yet very cozy. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, and if we didn't live 50 kilometers away, it would be our regular Greek restaurant from now on.

I've been here many times now, and the food has always been excellent. The meat is cooked to perfection, the sauces are delicious, the portions are a good size, and the price is reasonable. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and very efficient. In my opinion, it's the best choice for Greek food in Landshut. Highly recommended.

Food was good. Our reservation and order were handled chaotically, probably due to the large number of guests. Staff tried hard but were unprofessional. The wine was too warm, and chairs in one part of the restaurant were stacked up around 10 pm – and this was a Saturday night!

Great praise! We came from Nuremberg and were greeted so warmly and even got a table for four people. The food was plentiful and simply amazing, the service was top-notch, everything was just perfect, we felt very comfortable.

We've celebrated birthdays there twice already, and again yesterday, and I must say I'm always very pleasantly surprised by the staff, the ambiance, and the high-quality food. Everyone goes to great lengths to ensure an incredibly wonderful evening, and they all always have a warm, welcoming smile on their faces. I visited the Sokrates restaurant in Landshut and was absolutely thrilled! The food was freshly prepared, authentic, and delicious. The grilled meat, in particular, was perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful—accompanied by crispy onion rings, delicious tzatziki, and wonderfully seasoned tomato rice. Hello 🙋🏽‍♂️ Unfortunately, a very rude employee…..🙈 This will be my first very bad review.🫤 I had a reservation for 5 people in the beer garden. It was also confirmed via email. 😊👍🏽 (see photo) When we arrived, I said I had a reservation in the beer garden because the weather was nice and we had a dog with us. The employee immediately told us we couldn't sit outside and weren't allowed in with our dog. We weren't given a reason when we asked... In such nice weather, we didn't want to go in anyway! So we went right next door to the nice, delicious Italian restaurant 🇮🇹, where I'd never eaten before! There we were allowed to sit outside right on the Isar River with a great view. See photos in the review: Café Freiraum! 😊👍🏽 It's a shame that things turned out this way for the restaurant. We won't be back! The incident is spreading, even with five people turned away. But we've gained another delicious restaurant where we'll be happy to go now.

We visited the place after a recommendation we received. The food is perfect, delicious and fresh Mediterranean. The staff is great and very informative and we even received a free espresso :). Highly recommended, we will come again!

I went there with a friend for a dinner and had a wonderful time! The atmosphere so pleasant, the service warm and trustworthy, the food magnificent. We had a perfect dry white wine with food. I also need to mention our wonderful waiter Janez (I hope I spelled it right).

I'm writing another review because the restaurant has requested that my review be removed for defamation. There is no defamation; this was simply my experience. If the chef, the microwave, and the employees at Sokrates are under stress, that's not my fault. Perhaps the restaurant is trying to get rid of the bad reviews by filing a defamation strike on Google to get more 4+ reviews. I paid money, and the food at Sokrates was truly terrible. A restaurant with absolutely no integrity. If someone writes a bad review, they should first try to improve, and then they can always ask us to come back and check out the restaurant and write a better review. But that's what an adult would do, not you. My review again: Most of the things we order came cold and oily. I know Greek love oil, but I didn't ask for potatoes dipped in oil. Every 2 minutes someone was asking if everything was good? Ok one or two times but after the third time it's getting boring. The staff was running left and right for some reason. I guess the boss has asked them to move in the restaurant to look like there is movement but it's getting strange when you see it first hand.

We were at Socrates for the second time within a week and it was unique again. The food was super good, the service was excellent and the friendliness was excellent. You definitely gained 2 new regular guests!😁

We are now satisfied regular guests and have been there countless times. The food was excellent across the board and the people were super friendly and very attentive. What more could you want? :-) Update: after numerous visits, it's now my favorite Greek place in LA. A real insider tip are the pork medallions in orange sauce or the dishes with Metaxa sauce. Update 2: The extension, which now has direct access to the outside area, has become really beautiful.

Basically okay. The chicken breast fillet was a little too salty, unfortunately there were no vegetable side dishes (it doesn't say otherwise on the menu), but the mustard sauce was good. The salmon fillet was also a bit too salty and unfortunately a bit burnt. At the end we were asked if we would like some more ouzo, but it was never brought. In terms of taste and ambience, it doesn't come close to the gold standard in the old town.

Food was very tasty, we didn't have to wait long, service was very friendly and competent. I definitely recommend it. The team also handles larger groups perfectly.

There was an ouzu on the house straight away. We both had gyros with side dishes. It had a very good taste and was well cooked, just as it should be. When I ordered extra tzatziki, it was also on the house. At the end we also got an espresso. We were really very satisfied! Thank you for the great evening! Keep it up!

We spontaneously went to Socrates today and are thrilled! Nice, quick service, excellent food, absolutely perfect price-performance ratio! Aaaand: finally a portion size that fills you up! I really don't want to badmouth the rest of Landshut's Greeks or Greek restaurants, but from today on this is my favorite Greek place!

We've eaten here several times but today I would like to give zero stars. Service more than bad. Drinks waited a long time, starter waited 1 hour, main course waited another hour and since we had the main course there was no waiter at the table. The empty plates have been there for half an hour and the empty glasses are of no interest either. Side dishes that were ordered also had to be reminded because they were forgotten.

Were there for the fourth time now. Always delicious food, great service, very attentive waiters. Absolute recommendation.

Erst einmal sitzt man draussen absolut klasse. Fast direkt an der Isar und dazu viel Fußverkehr. Wenn man will gibt es hier viel zu sehen. Außerdem fehlt zum Glück der Verkehrslärm. Das Essen ist absolut in Ordnung. Der Service auch absolut in Ordnung. Alles in allem eine gute Essens-Erfahrung.
