Definitely five out of five stars for me! In my opinion, the best Greek restaurant in the entire city. You receive a very warm welcome and are shown to your table, usually by the owner himself. The menu is very extensive and offers something for everyone. Within Greek cuisine, there's something for everyone. As is typical for a restaurant like this, you're greeted with an ouzo. The portions are generous, and the food has always been delicious! You'll definitely leave satisfied, especially if you combine the delicious appetizers with the main courses. At the end, you're offered another rose liqueur or ouzo – if you don't drink alcohol, you can, of course, simply decline. The service is very friendly, and the waiters are attentive and always accommodating to requests and inquiries regarding food intolerances. Especially on weekends, you should definitely reserve a table, particularly during the colder months. It's always very busy, and without a reservation, it's sometimes impossible to get a table. Hello; first of all, the food was very good. Unfortunately, it was extremely loud and too bright for my taste (the ambiance could be improved). Our desserts were forgotten, and we waited almost an hour for them. It was also very busy.

€38 for a small piece of meat, I ordered medium rare and received well done.

I've always enjoyed eating at Poseidon; the food has always been excellent. Unfortunately, this time there was a serious problem. I specifically asked twice if there was garlic in the dish, as I have a garlic allergy, and I was assured that there wasn't. However, after a few bites, I immediately noticed the garlic. I had to stop eating and leave quickly to get my emergency medication. The waiter simply said, "It's only a little bit"—that's completely unacceptable. The dish was removed from the bill, but at that moment, I didn't care. I would have preferred to pay and be able to eat without worry. Of course, I paid the rest of my bill. It's a real shame, because I've really liked the restaurant up until now, but something like this simply shouldn't happen.

Poseidon Restaurant – simply fantastic! The signature lamb shank was absolutely fabulous – one of the best in all of Landshut! For over 20 years, Poseidon has been a guarantee of quality and flavor for us. Now with some modern touches, but still offering the same outstanding cuisine as always. Truly wonderful, welcoming, and professional – a restaurant you'll always want to visit!

The vegetables had a slight bite and weren't overcooked, only the carrots could have been a bit more cooked (quite hard). Vegetable/minced meat lasagna All in all, a nice place with good food. Good value for money. Paid about €74 for 1 starter 2 main courses with salad 2 drinks 1 espresso Can't complain!!

The most amazing dining experience during our trip for Oktoberfest! The food, service, atmosphere were out of this world - and the portion sizes were insanely overwhelming. The best part of our group’s experience was the hospitality. The staff treated us with their traditional morals - the highest level of hospitality. Ate a marathon plate. A tablespoon of watery tomato rice and otherwise just meat. No tzatziki or giant beans. The salad consisted of 100 percent green salad. The suvlaki was too dry and tough in places. All in all, not a recommendation.

Super attentive and friendly servers, a lovely ambiance, and delicious food. Depending on the day's specials, it can sometimes be a bit dry, but the tzatziki is very creamy and makes up for it. The accompanying "garden" in the town is particularly pretty. The drinks are also extremely delicious.

How can anyone sit down to eat in this horrible, smelly, far too noisy basement bunker? I don't understand. We turned on our heels.

The restaurant's ambiance is appealing. The food was served fairly quickly. However, the food was heavily oiled. Some dishes were swimming in oil, as were the salads. The rice side dish was too small, and the vegetables were extremely chewy. Gyros and other dishes used to come with tzatziki, which was missing here. The prices were on the higher end. Otherwise, the food was quite good.

On a Monday evening, the restaurant was about three-quarters full and one waiter was completely annoyed and preferred to look at the floor rather than at the people. The second was a bit friendlier and tried hard, but whether he liked his job, I don't know. After about 25 minutes we were almost ready to leave before we had even ordered our drinks. Then the other waiter came and quickly took our order. The food came quickly and was okay; you get the feeling that as soon as you show the voucher book you're a second-choice customer. The gyros was good, but the calamari was swimming in fat. The salad was also dressed with far too much oil, which meant it had hardly any flavor. Poseidon has been in Landshut for ages and lots of people are regulars, but I still can't understand it. I give the restaurant another chance about once a year, but I've never been convinced.

Our family's absolute favorite restaurant. The food is excellent, the service attentive and friendly. The ambiance in the old cellar rooms is particularly atmospheric and perfectly rounds off the visit.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The vaulted ceiling creates a wonderful atmosphere. The food is excellent both in terms of taste and quality. High praise goes to the kitchen. The portions aren't small either, but just the right size. The entire staff is very warm and accommodating. You can truly enjoy your meal here.

We decided to visit Poseidon Restaurant based on its high rating of 4.6 - unfortunately it was a complete disappointment for us. The restaurant does not have an elevator, which makes it very inconvenient for people with strollers or those with disabilities. The toilet is common for men and women, inside there are two stalls, one of which is labeled “ladies”. However, the door to the toilet room doesn't close properly, so men and women can be there at the same time - very uncomfortable. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our food even though there were only a few guests in the restaurant. The soup was served in a damaged plate - the rim was chipped - and the food was heavily salted. When we asked to pack the rest of the food, we were only brought empty containers to the table and told that we should pack it ourselves - whereas for other guests, the staff did this. The waiter also made an inappropriate joke about whether I even had any money with me. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Service was very attentive, the food was okay. The restaurant area is beautifully designed. The stars for the ambience are deducted for the toilet area. The women's toilet is one of the stalls in the men's room and overall the area doesn't look very appealing.

I rarely find fault with food, but the vegetables were swimming in oil and the pointed peppers were cold. The taste wasn't bad. Athens plate was good as always, but without tzatziki with the gyros.

I had a warm starter plate. This was a disgrace (for its price of 15 euros). Carelessly prepared and meager selection. The food my companion, however, was good. The restaurant is located in a very beautiful vaulted cellar. All in all, our visit was good but nothing more.

After many years of good cuisine, we have now been disappointed twice. The portions are getting smaller and smaller, the prices are getting higher and the ambience leaves a lot to be desired. Gyros was tough and dry, little rice, but half a plate full of onions. The vegan platter was so soggy, the plate was dripping in oil, it was inedible. I almost couldn't eat any of it. There was also little tzatziki, the octopus salad also had more salad than octopus, all in a lot of oil. Grill plate was okay, but definitely not enough tzatziki. We celebrated our birthday and paid 120 euros for 3 people. The table, the plates arranged were all rather careless, the seating was too narrow. A schnapps on the house or a handshake when saying goodbye doesn't help either. It's a shame, it was always our first choice in Landshut, but unfortunately the price/performance ratio is no longer right here.

The staff are sweet. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great. The food was delicious, I ordered the gyros and the two pieces of bread that came with it were the highlight, it was soft and smelled of butter, I recommend this dish to you.

Food: Waiting time less than 5 minutes / quality very tough / quantity was rather small, especially the heap of rice / salad was oversalted / tzatziki was ok but far too little (you just want it to be reordered) Coca Cola Light (that's what it said on the menu) when you ordered you got a cheap zero cola from the discouter The plate was also 0 decorated and simply carelessly placed on top. Service: service was quite quick / when we wanted to pay we had to mention it three times and wait a total of 20 minutes for the bill Ambience: it was totally cold in the restaurant / the benches were totally dirty .. dusty .. lettuce leaves were on the floor and on the bench Toilets far too small and too few Conclusion: we won't go there anymore! Totally dissatisfied for portion/taste/local temperature/price Around 40€ for 2 main courses + 2 drinks and afterwards you had a total stomach ache and you can figure out the rest yourself.. There used to be decorated plates... pita for free... zaziki neatly on the plate where there was enough quantity / quality drinks You won't see us there anymore!

We were very happy with the quality and taste of the food. The service was good, but the volume in the restaurant leaves something to be desired, especially since unmannered children and their parents bully the guests with unnecessary noise. A little less selfishness from the parents would help the guests have a relaxed evening.

Super delicious food. The price is a bit more expensive than other Greeks but the value for money is absolutely fine for me. Service staff is attentive and super friendly. 1 point deducted only because it is a bit tight at some tables and extremely loud due to the vault when the restaurant is full.

Unfortunately the waiters were not interested in making sales. We sat with empty glasses for 25 minutes. Payment is also only possible after three requests. Food very good.

A very nice Greek with great food. I ate a gyros here - see photo - and it was very tasty. The gyros were well done, deliciously seasoned and had tasty toppings. The salad was ok, super fresh, but the sauce/seasoning was nothing special. There was a delicious aperitif at the beginning and end. The waitresses were all very friendly and always present, meaning you didn't have to look for conditions even when the restaurant was full, they always noticed if you still had requests. When it was full, the volume was just enough to hold a conversation, but before and after peak time it was very comfortable. Yes, I can recommend it and will come back.

This Greek is exactly the right place in Landshut! The acoustics in the cellar vault are not that good, which means it is a bit louder. But all of this is compensated for with a very friendly and always present service. The food is really very good and the portions are really big. Not to be sneezed at is the delicious ouzo that comes beforehand and a rose liqueur Yamas afterwards! We like coming here, we feel comfortable here!

Yesterday I was invited to a birthday party in the Greek restaurant Poseidon in Landshut Ei, nothing special from the outside, the entrance goes down one floor, there you stand in a vault made of bricks, incredible, the food was great, there was a lunch menu and the usual one I had gyros with a steak salad plate, my wife had gyros calamari salad top buttery soft before uso then again uso nothing for me :-( driver price lunch menu 14.70 euros service waiter very friendly.

The food is very good, also plentiful. So if you come very hungry, you will definitely be very full. I had the Athena plate. 😁🥰

Ambience is relative. Cellar vault very nice, but volume worse than on a BHF. Tables are also very close to each other, so you can hear the conversations from the 3rd table. Food is rather bland. Gyros could be more seasoned, souflaki pies are too dry. Salad hardly has any marinade your turn.

It was quite ok. Above all, they are super nice. Fries in fresh oil would of course be better and rice was tasteless. It can't be compared with Munich restaurants, although the prices would be correspondingly high.

We found the service particularly great. This was quick, subtle, friendly but unobtrusive. It couldn't be better! The choice of food made the decision difficult and invites you to come back to try other dishes. There are also vegan dishes. The food was also very good then. Gyros, for example, was exactly right, so it was still juicy. I deducted one star for the ambience because the newly renovated toilets were unfortunately not so cleanly bricked. Otherwise, the entrance area and the guest room are a really nice vaulted cellar and look great. Gladly again soon....

The first time I went to Poseidon was 14 years ago on my first date with my now husband. Since then we have been eating here every now and then, including last May. Still very comfortable, very friendly and attentive staff. I had the fried calamari, which I have never eaten prepared like this anywhere else, really tasty and extraordinary. My husband had a mixed fish plate and was also very satisfied. The side salads also tasted good. For dessert we had a puff pastry vanilla dessert. That rounded off the evening nicely. We always enjoy coming back, maybe we'll have the fig dessert that we had 14 years ago again :)

We were with a larger group, a really huge selection of Greek food, I ate fish, everyone got dinner at the same time, the waiters were very nice, they brought the ouzo, I also got metaxa, the owner also came to the table to make sure everything was fine is there, the draft beer was also excellent, there was a lot of other company, it was a great atmosphere, apparently the locals love the restaurant. 😄👍

We were there with a group of eight people. Of course we reserved in advance. Everything went smoothly. The food was fresh, super tasty, hot & everyone got it at the same time. Great service. The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. All eight of us had a very good impression of the restaurant. Gladly again!
