Today was our first time there. We fell in love instantly. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We were absolutely thrilled. It was perfect. Thank you!

It's by far the best Greek restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food is delicious, and the service is friendly and polite. I had a fish dish, and the calamari was incredibly tender. They even have a special menu for seniors—a great idea! 👍 It's a good idea to reserve a table, as the restaurant was packed shortly after opening. I highly recommend it.

The food was great. The tzatziki has a real kick. For true garlic fans ;)) I had the liver pan. 3 large pieces of liver with plenty of sauce. The pepperoni was a good portion for the price and mild.

Beautiful ambiance, even more delicious food. Many dishes with Metaxa sauce are just our taste.

A truly lovely spot in Halberstadt for outdoor seating in the summer. A large, open-air restaurant with plenty of tables and a beer garden atmosphere, beautifully lit with festoons of light bulbs. Besides good food, this is also a great place for a few drinks in the evening.

Great and fast service, plenty of nice seating inside and outside. Delicious food, fair prices, ouzo on the house. Restrooms and everything else very good and clean. We'd be happy to go back anytime.

Service was different. Drinks could be ordered quickly, but for food you had to call for service. Payment was only possible in cash, and you had to go to the cash register yourself and wait in line. After 30 minutes of standing in line, it was finally over. Takeaway food boxes were carelessly thrown onto the middle of the table with the word "box." As a guest, you had to refill them yourself. Where is the service here? I wasn't in a restaurant, but in a supermarket where I had to wait in line. The main thing was that the music was loud. You can do better elsewhere.

After an hour, the hunger issue was over for us. The staff was friendly. We've eaten at several Greek restaurants in the area, but unfortunately, this one isn't one of OUR favorites. Everyone should make their own experience here. We're out of here.

As long-time regulars, we addressed the issue directly, and the only response we received was, "What should I do now?" That response completely destroyed years of positive impressions.

We had a small class reunion last night, so we mainly wanted to chat over a nice meal. Then unfortunately it became the loudest restaurant visit of my life. The one-year anniversary was celebrated with a DJ. There was a lot of free ouzo and sparkling wine, which was nice. There was nothing wrong with the food and the waiting time was also limited. But the volume of the music made conversation impossible; we almost had to shout at each other. The waiters had problems understanding the orders and there were some misunderstandings while serving. It almost bordered on physical harm, especially when the volume was turned up even higher for a birthday song. Some guests had to cover their ears. Hours later my ears were still ringing. That was my first and last visit to Syrtaki.

I can't understand some guests who complain about long waiting times and unfriendly staff. We went to the restaurant for dinner at 6:30 p.m. today and were... 1. very nicely greeted 2. Drinks came immediately after ordering 3. The food came after about 15 minutes and was hot and tasty. The restaurant was fully occupied between 6:30 p.m. and around 8:00 p.m. Guests came and went one after the other. There was no guest who had to wait long for drinks or food. The restaurant is definitely highly recommended. A full 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for that

Rarely experienced such bad service. Rude, annoyed, stressed. It wasn't even full yet. It took a long time to order the food and the first drink was already empty. Additional fries were forgotten and only a handful were delivered. The food was okay, the portions were sufficient. However, for the high prices of the dishes, we would have expected a fresh schnitzel. The drinks prices are almost cheeky (glass of Fanta €4.80). All in all, not a particularly positive experience. Won't eat here again.

You will be welcomed with very warm arms. The service is always very courteous and doesn't make you wait very long. The cuisine is just so good! I simply rave about the Syrtaki restaurant to all my friends and work colleagues! I can only recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in Halberstadt, is on holiday, has a stopover or is taking a break.

Everything was fine until the starter. Since the restaurant was full, they forgot our main course and when they found out, they quickly tried to conjure up dishes where the meat was still almost raw. Then you are told “we always do it like this”. Gave it back, it was a disappointment.

The atmosphere is typically Greek and cozy, but the music was a bit too loud, which made conversation at the table a little difficult. A slightly quieter background sound would make the experience even more pleasant. Still a great restaurant with good food and friendly service. I'd love to come back

The Women's Day food we got was okay. It took almost an hour before we could order drinks, despite us going to the front counter twice. Before we could order food, it took at least half an hour again despite further questions at the counter, and before we could eat our main course we had been sitting in the restaurant for almost two and a half hours. No further orders for drinks were asked, it was very crowded that evening and a DJ was playing music very loudly. The bill was then paid at the door because it was too loud at the table and the waiters couldn't understand anything. Unfortunately, I experienced something similar there two years ago, never again.

We were there at 6:30 p.m. At around 7:15 p.m. we were finally able to order something to drink. The food finally arrived around 9 p.m. This was lukewarm. In the meantime, no one even asked if you wanted something to drink. There was a lot going on and everyone was completely overwhelmed. If you can't handle a lot of guests, you should leave it alone. And the “boss” thinks the guest is stupid to come. They don't have to be surprised if at some point no one comes anymore. Even one star is still too many. Many of us were there for the last time.

The food was very tasty and filling. They are also very child friendly. I'll definitely eat there again. The only thing I was missing was the key point that tells you you're eating at a Greek place. Otherwise there are really no points of criticism.

I wanted to eat something there with a few friends and we were there at 7 p.m. and finally got our starter at 10 p.m. and the garlic bread was open for far too long and didn't taste like garlic. At 10:30 p.m. the main course arrived, everyone got their food but after 7 minutes I went to the front and asked where my food was. I was told they would do it immediately but I didn't want it anymore. At least I was charged one drink less for that I sat there for almost 4 hours and didn't get anything decent to eat. Service blamed everything on the full restaurant, but in my opinion it was all just poorly organized. That was my last visit.

Landed here by chance after a sports tournament and what a stroke of luck. Excellent service and friendliness at lunchtime. Ouzo was served in small pots (which is always good :-))...we didn't even know about it. Insanely good food and again...just super friendly. An absolute recommendation...

We waited more than 2.5 hours for our food. In vain. Even after repeated requests, we simply didn't get the food. We left hungry. No apology, nothing. Really a shame.

The Greek restaurant Sirtaki in Halberstadt is simply a hit! As soon as you enter you notice the warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant was well attended, which shows how popular it is - and rightly so! Despite the crowds, the wait for the food was just right, and the extremely friendly and attentive staff made the evening perfect. The liver was an absolute highlight, perfectly prepared and incredibly tasty! In addition, there is an unbeatable price-performance ratio. And the best thing: It's no problem at all to take the portion you don't manage home with you. If you don't leave here full and satisfied, you're definitely doing something wrong. A fantastic place that I highly recommend to everyone!

We were there in a large group. It was very great food. Service was really cool and relaxed. Even though they had already finished work, they made it an hour longer for us. You can't do that anywhere else. We were even allowed to dance with very good music. Thank you for a successful evening.

Staff and kitchen totally overwhelmed. Eternal waiting times (3 hours and more). None of us (5 people) had side dishes from the food that was delivered that matched what we ordered. It was then delivered later but, well, it was a waste. Unfortunately, this is not the first time (3rd visit since opening) there are always eternal waiting times, for every reorder, e.g. drinks, you have to hunt down the waiter yourself. Dessert wasn't even ordered after a 4-hour stay. Tip: limit the number of customers depending on the waiters and kitchen staff, the customers will thank you.

Unfortunately there is a deduction for the waiting time. In total we spent two hours there for a round of drinks and a course of main course, most of which we had to wait. It was also quite loud because of all the people, so it was difficult to have a conversation, but that was my problem for us.

Was really disappointed on Saturday.... A waiter and the place was full... Waited twenty minutes for drinks and over an hour for food... Tzaziki was extreme this time, rather unpleasant to eat, gyros were very gristly and the potatoes cold.

Food tastes like any Greek's. Restaurant is well maintained with a large outdoor area. The play area outside with a sandpit is praiseworthy! Very crowded at peak times and so loud that you can hardly have a conversation. Small team but trying hard.

Very tasty food and large portions. Our waiter Valli was very friendly and in a good mood. There is always a small carafe of Ouzo that is refilled whenever it is empty and the boss comes by regularly and refills the glasses. We all really enjoyed our visit and we are looking forward to our next one

Food was very tasty. Only the service was very slow and overwhelmed. It took 35 minutes until we were allowed to place our drink order and only after asking the waiter directly. It took 90 minutes until we had our food. We won't be coming back anytime soon...
