Today was the first time I visited this restaurant for dinner while visiting my mother. Very nice atmosphere, friendly welcome. Unfortunately, that was about all the positive experiences I had. There was no question about whether the food was tasty; drinks had to be reordered. In general, she seemed to be interested in us, but she didn't bother me. When we mentioned the €0.50 for packaging, because we hadn't finished some of the food and wanted to take it with us, she rudely explained that it was required by law. There was a heated argument with us. It's certainly possible to do this, but it's not exactly customer-friendly. Perhaps they could have deducted the 50 meals from the hefty €18 gyro price. And I've never experienced having to pack the food yourself. Here, they argued with the health department. So, of course, I wonder why the food is served on the plate? Someone has to put it on it. All in all, dear guests, there are certainly more service-oriented restaurants in Halberstatt. And dear hosts: stop arguing with the customers!

Eating like you're at a friend's house. No matter the dish (except gyros, which is always cooked thoroughly but tender), it's cooked to perfection. Many Greek restaurants don't excel at liver, in particular. Here, the liver is always pink inside. Last weekend, I had the Achilles plate, which was the best grilled dish I've ever had at a Greek restaurant. Ordered the wrong wine? No problem, they simply swap it. Always friendly, and the chef always has a funny saying. No Greek restaurant in Halberstadt can compete with this in terms of food quality.

Went there to eat spontaneously and were so disappointed, we haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. The drinks prices are also a disgrace - €8.70 for a glass of Samos - I can't believe it. I'm sorry, but this can also scare away the guests.

A dream of a restaurant. We went there on Maundy Thursday without booking in advance and immediately got a table for two people. An incredibly pleasant atmosphere. The service is very fast, nice and accommodating! The food is more than plentiful and super tasty (I had a "senior" plate with beef liver, even that I barely managed). 3 days later, on Easter Sunday, we went back to this restaurant (with a pre-order) with 5 people. Everything was excellent again. I can really recommend this restaurant to everyone. Many thanks again to the service and especially to the boss (red ouzo :-) so delicious) We would love to come back to you from the Koblenz area!

Actually a nice Greek restaurant. It wasn't full at the beginning of the week, around 8 p.m., and we got a seat even without a reservation. After we browsed the menu and tried to place our order, we were informed that there were no more gyros (which is why we actually went for Greek food in the first place). So we decided and ordered. Despite the fact that the restaurant was apparently rather empty, we waited what felt like a very long time for our food. However, the food tasted fantastic and the portion filled us up. The apple juice was a bit thin though. All in all, the wait was still worth it.

Both the service and the food are excellent. I can only recommend the restaurant. Thank you very much for that and see you next time.

My wife and I love going to this Greek restaurant. The food is plentiful and, above all, delicious. They always serve ouzo with it, and afterward, too, of course. Special requests are responded to promptly, and the owner often serves them personally with a smile. We also often go there with colleagues, and everyone is thrilled. All in all, it's always a guarantee for a wonderful evening. Thank you❤️

Always an experience, you go in and feel at home. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The food is very tasty, my favorite is Saganaki with honey and sesame and gyros gratinated with feta. I'm looking forward to being able to sit in the beer garden again in the summer and enjoy the grill buffet every Thursday and feel like I'm in Greece.

Disappointing visit – never again! We've always been satisfied with this restaurant, but our last visit was a bitter disappointment. Although the manager kindly offered us a table, the evening began with a listless waiter who brought us the menu without a word – without even asking about drinks. After waiting for 24 minutes, during which several waiters walked past us several times without acknowledging us, we decided to leave. When we politely expressed this, the manager immediately became rude and loud. Instead of understanding or an apology, he simply replied with a rude "Then you'll have to go!" Customer friendliness looks different! After this experience, we definitely won't be coming back.

We've been regulars for years and have never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious and always freshly prepared. The pina colada is also highly recommended. Thanks to Alex and Tasso, you're doing a great job.

Unfortunately not recommended, the price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all, three small, poorly fried lamb fillets and ready-made rosemary potatoes for €29. Very small portions, other Greeks have plenty of ouzo, but unfortunately none at all in this restaurant. We won't eat there anymore.

Unfortunately, this restaurant is not recommended. Very unfriendly boss staff. The other two Greek restaurants in Halberstadt are by far better. You get more for your money there.

I always like to eat in the restaurant, it tastes very good, the staff is always friendly, so very pleasant. I can only recommend it.

Instead of the #192 we ordered, we got the #191. When we pointed out the wrong dish, the waiter/manager quickly became very rude and refused to engage in any discussion. Quite the opposite: he came back to us a short while later to point out that we had ordered the wrong dish and that it wasn't his fault. On top of that, the dish (number 191) was completely dry and almost impossible to cut. We also waited half an hour for drinks, even though the place wasn't even remotely full. We've been to Achilles several times, but today's conclusion is: NEVER AGAIN! PS: The other two employees were friendly.

A good place to eat in Halberstadt, especially if you want to go to the theater afterwards.

It tasted good in the evening, but the next day, 5 out of 6 people who ate gyros had diarrhea and vomiting! Thanks for that.

I had a gyro plate, which was probably because it was very early and the meat had been turning on the spit for a long time and there was no demand. The pan dish was okay, but we were disappointed with the gyro. I wouldn't come back.

A lovely Sunday evening with extremely friendly hosts here in the restaurant. After a short phase you immediately felt like you were in Greece. A great and right decision for us and we will come back thanks to the team.

I had a fillet plate and unfortunately the beef fillet didn't taste good at all. And the children's plate was unfortunately way too over-seasoned. The atmosphere is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. A lot of emphasis is placed on quality and details here. There is hardly anything on offer for children in the area. All the employees are very nice and quick. Every now and then small mistakes happen, but shit happens. Nobody is perfect. A warm recommendation from me 👍🏼

It is a fairly tidy, outdated restaurant with a few Greek-looking accessories. There is a very large bar in the middle and looks like a pub. The service was very friendly and professional. Let's get to the food: The breaded feta is unfortunately frozen, absolutely standard. The small salad from the bag - just a little tomato and rocket were added fresh. The dressing is so deliciously garlicky that it seemed homemade to me. Unfortunately the gyro is cut too thick. Unfortunately it wasn't really crispy, but it was very tender. The mood was a bit depressing. Some complained that everything had become so expensive and that people could hardly afford Dubai anymore... Well.

We were in Halberstadt for the first time today and found this inn more or less by chance for lunch, but we weren't disappointed. Very friendly service, delicious senior plates, a nice small salad first and our dog was well received. What more do you need?

We quickly decided we wanted to eat GR 🇬🇷. After two closed restaurants, Achilles was next. As soon as we drove into the PP we were warmly welcomed and shown a table in the beer garden. The drinks order came quickly, but the food took a while. After reordering the ingredients, it didn't take long for the food to arrive. Complaining 🤫 isn't our style, but we have to say something small. The Cretan potatoes were very plentiful in their skins 🥣. Even the waiter admitted that it was a lot. The rest was for home. The atmosphere was very nice and we'll be back if the weather is good.

nice restaurant with very tasty food We spontaneously visited the restaurant yesterday and were warmly welcomed. The table was even cleaned in our presence. After ordering, the appetizers were brought to the table. I would interpret it as a normal waiting time since we didn't wait too long. All dishes were freshly prepared and were very tasty. The salad had a dressing that I have never had in a Greek restaurant before (very refreshing). My companion liked the Metaxa sauce the best of all of them so far. Overall, we were both very positively surprised, can recommend it and would be happy to come back! On our next visit we would like to have an ouzo with it ;)

The food was delicious, but unfortunately there wasn't enough Metaxa sauce in the dishes and the garlic bread was very soggy in oil.

We were there last weekend with a small group and had a very nice evening, were served in a friendly and quick manner and were able to talk to each other well because it wasn't too loud. The various dishes were apoetically prepared, but in my opinion they were too expensive in terms of price-performance ratio, also because the quantity and taste were just within the limit. Dear team, please season the rice balls better, make them bigger and add fresh herbs and spices.

We didn't feel comfortable. We were given the menu and after a very short time we were asked several times if we had finally found something. I then felt compelled to order quickly and the arrogant waiter's remark (Oh well!) really annoyed me. If we hadn't been there with friends, I would have left the restaurant. I have to say, it was Sunday, 6 p.m. and there were still 2 or 3 tables occupied in the restaurant. So you can't say that there was any time pressure. Really a shame, you can almost eat fast food. We then changed restaurants so we could still have a nice chat. The food was tasty, but very simple.

The food was all right and the service was as you would imagine. However, I had much better memories of this store. Nowadays you only get one ouzo for free on the house at the beginning & when I wanted the second one at the end to digest it, I had to pay for it. I can understand that inflation and 19% have taken a toll on every restaurant, but I still think that ouzo is part of the Greek menu & you can be a little more generous.
