Das Essen im Ophelia war schon ein Ereignis. Das Essen entsprach den hohen Erwartungen - und dem ebenfalls stolzen Preis, die Investition hat sich durchaus gelohnt. Gestutzt haben wir bei einem der sieben Gänge lediglich bei einer Komponente namens "Sauerkraut" - das schmeckte nicht schlecht, aber nicht nach Sauerkraut. Unzufrieden waren wir mit der Musikkulisse - irgendwas mit Pop, aus unserer Sicht für eine Restaurant dieses Stils jedenfalls ganz unangemessen und außerdem zu laut (wir mussten mehrfach darum bitten, die Lautstärke zu reduzieren).

We wanted to have coffee at RIVA today. However, this time we were told that today it would only be reserved for hotel guests to get coffee and cake. That would be due to a lack of staff. However, there were three service staff behind the bar and there was no observable overload of the staff. You should just keep coming by or call ahead to see if it would be open to other guests that day. It would be like this and sometimes like that. We actually wanted to visit the Riva more often in the future as hotel guests. Now we will look for a hotel where we are welcome for coffee and cake at any time.

A heavenly experience! We had the star menu and were thrilled by the courses and the wine pairing, which were coordinated down to the last detail. I have never eaten such a tender and flavorful steak. The taste harmonized right down to the smallest detail with the side dishes and the wine. The service was also courteous, attentive and super friendly. An elegance that is second to none. We'll be back!
