Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated significantly in the last few weeks. Meat is very gristly and bland. Prices have also risen a lot. Really a shame...

Once a culinary temple, today more of a case for the health department! Since the change in ownership, the motto here seems to be: “Why follow a recipe when it can also taste like regret?” The kebab? Dry as a tax return and as exciting in taste as still water at room temperature. The roller blind? A dough trauma rolled up, filled with what probably wanted to be vegetables and meat, but lost motivation along the way. And the hygiene? Let's put it this way: the tables are so greasy, I accidentally moonwalked while just reaching for my phone. Michael Jackson would have been proud - the health department probably less so. Conclusion: Anyone who eats here is playing culinary Russian roulette - only without the thrill, but with a guaranteed growling stomach and the sneaking suspicion that you have just picked up the menu for the next diarrhea detox. Never again. Except maybe to have a sliding competition on the tables. These are really top notch… in the truest sense of the word!

This is our second time here in Shamaika. We rented a holiday apartment there for the second time. It was comfortably furnished and the breakfast was also great. We will definitely book there again when we have a celebration in the corner.

The service was very nice and professional. The food was okay. However, for the price the quality could have been better. The fried potatoes weren't completely cooked through and the sauce was okay. However, the snap was very good. Like I said, it wasn't bad, it was okay and a snapshot. Let's see what it's like next time.
