Very tasty food, service generally wasn't bad. Unfortunately, our request to open the terrace was not granted as the furnishings seemed very dark during the day. The good ambience was missing at lunchtime because everything was kept very dark.

On my bike tour today I visited the hotel and restaurant at Wachholdersee in Haselünne in the most famous city in the entire Emsland. Haselünne by the lake. The hotel is a stunner and is located on a beautiful lake and is very clean and quiet everywhere. You can walk around the lake 🏃‍♂️ or ride a bike or wheelchair around it. You can do a juniper diploma here - it's a lot of fun for young and old. There is a sailing school and a campsite for mobile homes here. The staff in the restaurant and hotel are extremely friendly and accommodating. It's just soooooooo beautiful. And you are less than 10 minutes away from the city. Visit Haselünne and be surprised at how beautiful everything is here.

2 stars for the food just because of the price. Otherwise the food is super tasty, but unfortunately too overpriced

The restaurant has a new owner and is now called: La Ellissima. Enjoyed delicious salads with pizza bread and herb butter. Friendly service.

5 stars The pizzeria is absolutely recommended! The dough is nice and thin and crispy, the ingredients are fresh and high quality. The Margherita pizza in particular was a highlight – simple but perfectly done. The service was also super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy, ideal for a relaxing evening. Price-performance is also right. I'll definitely be back!
