Balkan Restaurant Vier-Länder-Spezialitäten in Haselünne

Ja, es ist schwer für mich. Wir waren mit 4 Personen da aber, ich kam wegen meiner gesundheitlichen Situation nicht die Stufen rauf ins Restaurant. Nachgefragt und sofort wurde der ebenerdige Wintergarten geöffnet. Die Servicekraft war mega nett und ist auf alle meine Wünsche bezüglich der Speisen eingegangen. Ich konnte für mich einen Kinderteller bestellen und diverse Extras. Meine 3 Freunde haben ihre Portion kaum geschafft. Alles richtig lecker. Ich würde mir einen Lieferservice nach Herzlake wünschen aber, man kann nicht alles im Leben haben. Ganz , ganz lieben Dank.

Ein Restaurant, das Gerichte vom Balkan auf seiner Speisekarte hat, die aber nicht aus Zutaten zubereitet werden, die ursprünglich für diese Gerichte verwendet werden. Ich würde das Gericht, das ich hatte (Gyros Metaxa), nicht weiterempfehlen.

Es gibt ein schönes Frühstücksbuffet an manchen Sonntagen

Wir waren am Samstag mit neun Personen zu 19:00 Uhr in dem Restaurant. Unser Tisch war vorne im Anbau zur Straße hin. Hier zog es und es war kalt an den Beinen, trotz Einschalten der zusätzlichen Heizstrahler. Von den neun Gerichten waren fünf in Ordnung. Das Fleisch der Überraschungsplatte war bis auf das Gyrosfleisch trocken und zäh. Die Pommes waren voll Fett gezogen und nicht essbar. Das Hähnchengericht schmeckte nach Leber. Es war wohl auf der gleichen Stelle auf dem Grill gegart, auf dem vorher die Leber gegrillt wurde. Der Reis bei dem Lebergericht war lauwarm. Die für uns zuständige Kellnerin war sehr nett und freundlich und war sehr bemüht unsere gemachten Reklamationen zu kompensieren. Die innerhalb von zwei Minuten gebrachten Pommes waren genau so schlecht, wie die reklamierten. Sie brachte uns zwei zusätzliche Runden Ouzo. Alles in allem waren wir enttäuscht und können das Restaurant so nicht weiter empfehlen.

Wir haben am Ostermontag ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen und der Service war nett! Das Essen war einfach nur schlecht! Punkt! Hat mich etwas an einem Schnellimbiss erinnert, der Döner, Pizza, mit in fettiger Sauce ertränktem Fleisch und einfachen Salat anbietet, den es mindestens 5x in jeder Kleinstadt in den zum Teil übelsten Gassen gibt! Was haben italienische Gerichte mit Balkan Spezialitäten zu tun? Der zweite Besuch ist ausgeschlossen!

Super Essen, quer durch die Karte. Sehr nette , besonders die mit hasenohren, und hübsche Bedienung. Adresse die man sich merken muss.

Das Ambiente ein Traum!! Sehr gemütlich und stimmungsvoll. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert haben, sind wir sehr nett empfangen worden. Die 4 Personen Grillplatte war super lecker, der Preis mehr als angemessen und Übriggebliebenes kann man mitnehmen. Klare Empfehlung, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Hatten zu 19:30 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt. Das Essen war um 21:20 Uhr noch nicht da. Fast 2 Stunden Wartezeit ohne irgendwelche Infos des Personals, finde ich schon sehr negativ. Das Essen war sehr gut, doch das hat die Wartezeit nicht wett gemacht. Das Personal wirkte genervt und überfordert.

Das Balkon Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich und ansprechend eingerichtet. Es bietet Spezialitäten für jeden Geschmack. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Auch Vegetarier kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir durften heute das Frühstücksbuffet genießen. Es war hervorragend! So ein tolles, leckeres Buffet und dann noch so eine große Auswahl. Wir haben uns einen Tisch für 16 Personen reserviert und wir waren alle begeistert. Fünf wohlverdiente Sternchen 😀.

Wir waren heute dort , können es nur empfehlen. Essen ,Ambiente ,Service alles top . Selbst die Weinberatung war perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder . Macht weiter so. Auch unser Hund hat sich wohl gefühlt .

NICHTS AUSSERGEWÖHNLICHES! Und in Bezug 4 Länder: WEDER VON DEN GERICHTEN HER NOCH GESCHMACKLICH ETWAS VORHANDEN! Sondern einfach nur Essen wie vom griechisch / türkischem Stangenimbiss = Ideenlos und geschmacklich fade =es fehl an den Speise überall das Feine oder Spezielle, vom Landestypischen ganz zu schwiegen ( wie gesagt fast alles schmeckt wie beim Xten unterdurchschnittlichem griechischem Restaurant. Selbst türkische Restaurants (nicht Imbisse) in Berlin sind 1000 mal besser) Fleisch einfach nur trocken = verbraten ( kennen in meinen Augen nicht mal den Unterschied zwischen medium und well done) ,Ambiente = Gemütlichkeit oder landestypischer Chique Fehlanzeige, halt so eine 08/15 Ausstattung wie man sie bei etlichen etwas neueren Restaurants finden kann ( ordentlich aber eben auch nichtsagend = nichts was in Erinnerung bleiben würde). Tische eng an einander (vermutlich um soviel wie möglich Gäste auf einmal aufnehmen zu können) , dadurch kaum Privatsphäre beim Essen. Service sobald mehr Gäste da sind überfordert oder einfach zu wenig Mitarbeiter auch vor der Bar. Timing das man mit den Hauptspeisen warten sollte bis alle mit der Vorspeise am Tisch fertig sind, stimmt nicht ganz so. Fazit für mich : machen einen auf dicke Hose aber können nichts. Am Ende tat es mir um das Geld, was wir zu zweit für das Esse dort ausgegeben haben einfach nur mega leid. Das Einzige was ganz gut war, war der Nachtisch . Kann nicht nachvollziehen warum dort so viele essen gehen. Für mich ein ganz klares Ergebnis : EINMAL UND NIE WIEDER !!!

Das Rinderfilet war wie gewünscht medium gebraten an den Tisch serviert worden, Pommes kross und der Wein war auch sehr lecker. Das jugoslawische Gericht war ebenfalls sehr gut und reichlich. Netter und aufmerksamer Service 👍🏻♥️ Wir waren mal wieder sehr zufrieden und kommen wieder!

The food was good, portions generous. Very friendly service, and the wait time was reasonable. A big plus: the play area for the kids.

The food was okay. The juice spritzers were almost juiceless. Chaotic and very slow service. We were served by four different servers at our table, even though the place was half full. Unfortunately, several things were forgotten, which then had to be reordered, cutlery was missing, etc. After we arrived, it took about 35 minutes for us to order our food. The last person to arrive received their food almost 90 minutes after arrival. There were no follow-up questions about whether anyone else wanted anything else. Chic ambiance. A shame. We won't be back.

Lunch. The steak was good. The surprise platter for two, which cost over €50 in a restaurant with four different countries, consisted entirely of pork. Barely seasoned, tough, and tasted absolutely not fresh. We had to return the meat. Then the same thing came back. We left it there. The gyro wasn't a gyro, but a dry, warmed-up pork fillet with no cuts. The waitress, of course, got her tip; she was very nice.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was also very nice. None of us four really enjoyed the food itself. Especially the meat. I found the fries very tasty.

More show than substance! Bruschetta was a bread roll topped with feta cheese and pepperoni! Pizza undercooked. The €17 salad was worth a maximum of €6. The meat tasted stale! The staff yawned behind the counter and didn't ask for drinks even though the glasses were empty! It was impossible to choose a seat even though the restaurant/terrace was empty until the end.

We eat there regularly. Last night, May 24, 2025, was a particular highlight with the belly dancer. Our visitors from Cologne also enjoyed it. The food and service were great as always. We'll be back soon.

Balkan Restaurant Haselünne – From "plenty" to "not enough" in 3 courses If there's one thing the Balkan Restaurant in Haselünne can do, it's surprise. Unfortunately, not necessarily in a good way – the surprise plate for two was a real grab-bag... with the emphasis on "wonder where the meat went." Instead of a hearty Balkan grill, there was orange decoration deluxe – so there was plenty of vitamin C, only the variety of meat seemed to have gone on holiday. From plentiful to not enough – a culinary plot twist. The hollandaise? Saltier than my mother-in-law's sense of humor. A pinch less would have done the trick – instead, it was an adventure in every bite. And then the moment when little ants wandered across our table – presumably in a desperate search for the very meat we were also missing. Maybe they were trying to save the plate, or maybe just to see if at least they could get their fill. Service and ambiance? Nice, friendly, and hard-working – honest praise for that. But: If the highlight of the evening is the orange slice decoration and an insect parade, then perhaps the concept should be reconsidered. Bottom line: If you're craving citrus fruits and animal companionship, you'll be well catered for here. If you're looking for meat, you'd better google it again.

In both summer and winter I got a table without a reservation. In summer there are significantly more seats due to the outdoor area than in winter. Food is quick to make and has always been very tasty.

I can only recommend it again and again. Great staff, fast service, great ambience, no waiting, great boss and delicious food. Price performance is top here.

Unfortunately we had a not so nice experience this evening:/ not good service.. we weren't even asked for the bill.. but there weren't any new drinks either. So not a good after service! Besides, the food was OK. The meat on the Hercules plate... too dry and streaked with tendons. Not well prepared for €26! What was really tasty was the steak and the hefeweizen... everything else gets 0/5 stars from me. I probably won't be a guest here again... it's a shame!!

There was light and shadow during this restaurant visit. The ambience was good and the service staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the food was not convincing in all respects. The meat was almost consistently tough. Both the chicken and the beef liver. The sauce and mushrooms, however, were delicious. The Djuvec rice was still just warm. The price is also quite expensive for the size of the portions.

Unfortunately, the beef fillet I ordered was probably a steak and was only fried and completely raw on the inside. My wife's piece was probably 100g instead of 250g, but at least it was fried properly. The rest of our group wasn't really happy with their dishes either.

Very nice large winter garden. It is more spacious and quieter to sit here than inside. At 6 p.m. Sunday it was already very full in the restaurant. Reservations advisable. There is an ouzo/liqueur to welcome you. The dishes were served quickly. The menu is very extensive with a large selection. My Balkan salad looked good but I wouldn't take it again, the salad dressing was bland and the typical Balkan bread bag with cheese was missing and wasn't served. The rolls that come with it are very tasty.

Were there for the 3rd and last time. It was very, very cold at the window and the meat, especially the pork on the skewer, was tough The gyros were again delicious. The rice was seasoned better too! Absolutely not recommended! As a starter, just dry bread, a single dried-out slice of cucumber and a tiny bit of iceberg..should probably be the salad..old fat for the fries...disgusting..warmed up meat..never had such a bad meal in a restaurant!!

I can't understand the good reviews here. Service not courteous. The benches were completely worn out. Some of the food was cold, the meat was dry throughout. The steak, on the other hand, was almost raw and didn't taste like anything. The gratinated feta was a joke, cheap block of shepherd's cheese slapped into tomato sauce and warmed briefly and that was it. Complaining wasn't an option. After we heard how she treated the neighboring table, it was too stupid for us. Even when paying, no one asked if everything was ok. When we asked if we could close the window, they were simply ignored. I give the one star for the cocktail, it was good. But that was it. Absolutely not recommended! Too expensive for the quality.

Ich war am Dienstag, 09.01.2024 mit meiner Frau dort Essen. Bestellt haben wir Gyros hausgewürzt und die Pizza Gyros. Zum Thema Gyros (gilt für beide Gerichte): Zäh und nicht kross, nicht authentisch im Geschmack, gutes Gyros geht anders! Salat, Pommes und Zaziki waren gut. Zum Thema Pizza: Nicht kross, in der Mitte matschig, Gyros zäh, mit Käse überfrachtet. Wahrscheinlich war es mal wieder Edamer, der auf eine Pizza nach meiner Meinung nichts verloren hat. Das alles im übertrieben hohen Preisniveau. Hier ein kleines Beispiel: Cevapcici mit 6 Hackfleischröllchen für 19,00 €; das ist nach Meiner Auffassung schon recht unverschämt! Daher nur 1 Stern. Vom guten Service und Ambiente habe ich nichts, wenn das Essen für einen hohen Preis nicht gut genug ist.

Ich zähle nur gutes auf, das Essen war heiß.

Wir haben für eine Gruppe von circa zehn Personen Essen außer Haus bestellt, zwei davon sind Vegetarier. Für Vegetarier und Veganer war dieses Essen leider nicht geeignet. Auf die Anfrage nach sättigenden vegetarischen/veganen Gerichten wude darauf verwiesen, dass es sich um ein auf Fleisch spezialisiertes Restaurant handelt. Leider zählt Fleischzubereitung nicht zur Kochkunst, was der "Koch" (?) nachdrücklich unter Beweis stellte. Er gab an, dass sie etwas mehr gebratenes Gemüse beilegen. Das ist keine gute vegetarische Küche. Zudem wurde in die Schale mit dem Gemüse das Geschnetzelte untergehoben, welches wir somit hätten herauspuhlen müssen. Die Hoffnung auf leckere Pommes wurde durch die wabbelige Konsistenz ebendieser genommen. Nichtzuletzt fehlten bei der Abholung die Kartuschen zum Warmhalten der Essenswannen. Alles in allem kein guter Service und nicht empfehlenswert.

War begeistert. Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut. Preislich trotzdem recht teuer.
