This was the second time we were guests with a group of 8 people. Modern, clean rooms with kettle, tea and coffee. The lower rooms in the neighboring building are barrier-free. Top quality food in the restaurant and at breakfast. The owners, Ludger and Anja, run the hotel and restaurant with a lot of love and warmth. We'd love to come back!

We were here today with our friends from Düsseldorf to celebrate my big birthday, the food was delicious, the boss and his staff were warm and accommodating, the ambience was a dream - a wonderfully successful evening!

Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us visually or taste-wise.

We enjoyed the Christmas buffet. It was extraordinary and really good. Even as a vegetarian you get your money's worth. Thanks also to the very attentive and friendly service staff.

Nice location, very friendly service and the food was very tasty. There was a great view of the lake and there was also plenty of parking right next to the building.

Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. I think the prices are also very high. The hollandaise was out of the bag and the fillet was completely cooked. Fries were great. With such expensive prices there is a mayonnaise in the bag. Somehow it doesn't fit together. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Ambience is nice. All in all, we probably won't eat there again. Conclusion... prices too exorbitant for a rest stop

The restaurant now appears to have new management and a new name, La Ellissima. We were there with 2 people to have a quick bite and chose pasta dishes. Tortellini with tuna was ok, but I've had better. The spaghetti Bolognese was quite a disgrace. The sauce was a cheap jar from a discount store, tasted a lot like broth and I don't want to know what kind of meat was in it. Bolognese is actually quite easy to make! But the service was very nice and helpful, the food was on the table quickly (no wonder, since ready-made products were simply warmed up!) and the ambience of the restaurant was carried over from its predecessor and was good. Unfortunately, far too expensive for the disappointing food.
