I've known this restaurant for a long time and it was mostly tasty, but since the prices have risen the vegetables in the dishes have decreased. Carelessly cut carrots and onions, i.e. easily countable pieces, mini pieces of green beans that have no place in Chinese dishes. Where are the bean sprouts and Chinese cabbage, they have completely disappeared, but lots of sauce. I'm disappointed. You get less and worse food for more and more money.
The pizzaria used to be run by an old Italian who lived for pizza. He had good side dishes and was a real pizza maker.
The ownership has now changed and it is now your average Afghan, Indian whatever pizza. That's the way things go.
The atmosphere is inviting and the kiosk is always clean and tidy. The prices are fair and you can also find a lot of local products here, which I really appreciate. I can only recommend this kiosk if you are looking for a quick and pleasant meal. Definitely a place I would love to visit again! Because the price is fair compared to the other kiosks.
Since we only ever use the delivery service, we can't say much about the restaurant. But we love the salad as well as pizzas and pasta. The salads always taste fresh, the pasta is always perfectly cooked and the pizzas always offer different flavor variations thanks to the variety on offer! You can even save the salad for the next day. Simply great! On public holidays, ordering can take “a little longer” - but that speaks for Da Marco, a lot of people want delicious food at the same time 😉.
The schnitzel was an imposition, you had to look for meat and it was baked in the old fat. Rancid and tasteless, fries were apparently fried in the same fat and also tasted rancid. Schnitzel Viennese style for €17.50 and the fact that the breading predominates is a disgrace. According to friends, the tarte flambée is supposed to be better.
To order you have to go to the checkout. Slightly reminiscent of a canteen. I can happily do without something like that if I want to relax and unwind after a hike on the weekend. At least the food was brought to the table. To pay you have to go back to the cash register. It's a matter of taste but, as already described, it reminds me of a canteen.
Staff was friendly and dogs are allowed inside.
Next time we will definitely visit the competition opposite in the hope that it is better there.
Best kebab in the area...it used to be! Apparently the owner has changed. The quality is no longer the same. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend it at all. Previously 5+ stars, now only 2 stars maximum for me
Came here 10 months ago when we moved from the states to Königstein when it was “Bahia”. I was so disappointed I never came back… as soon as I saw it was closed for remodeling this summer I had my fingers crossed it would be a New Mexican restaurant… and boy did we luck out.
Arribar is GREAT!!!!! Will now be part of our weekly rotation, service was superb, Margs were delicious, tacos, fajitas, chimichanga and quesadilla were all EXCELLENT! I had the Arriba beef which was tender, son and daughter had the carne (also perfekt) wife had chicken fajitas. No one left food on the plates.
Queso was yellow nacho cheese, but I’ve never seen white queso since we moved here so I won’t hold that against them.
