Da Marco in Königstein im Taunus

I spontaneously stopped by for dinner alone and can highly recommend this restaurant. The owner is truly very friendly, you immediately feel at home, the food is delicious, and all at fair prices. Anyone expecting high-end dining will be disappointed, but the menu should be enough to set aside that expectation. I was satisfied and will be back.

If you're expecting a classic Italian restaurant, you won't find it here. However, the selection, thanks to the Indian section of the menu, is more than adequate, and everyone will be satisfied. I only ordered a starter, and it was made into a main course portion without any questions or extra charge, which I found incredibly nice. The staff is unassuming but very, very friendly.

The lasagna tasted very floury. The pasta sauce was bland. The waitress was inattentive and preferred playing on her phone. When the waitress was enjoying her meal, she didn't raise her hand; she just turned her head toward the counter and spread all the bacteria there... nicely all over the glasses.

PayPal frequently causes delays in forwarding orders. After a year of this problem, it should finally be resolved. I waited another 1.5 hours for my delivery. Furthermore, the delivery drivers keep changing, resulting in frequent phone calls to clarify the whereabouts of the food.

Spaghetti carbonara tastes like you've seen pasta in cream with the addition of ham. This dish has nothing to do with carbonara. I won't order it again and I don't even recommend it to anyone.

Very friendly service! The Filetto Gorgonzola was excellent👌 The seating is comfortable and the evening is enjoyable.

Since we only ever use the delivery service, we can't say much about the restaurant. But we love the salad, pizzas, and pasta. The salads always taste fresh, the pasta is always cooked to perfection, and the pizzas always offer a variety of flavors thanks to the variety! You can even save the salad for the next day. Simply fantastic! On holidays, ordering can take a little longer—but that's a good thing about Da Marco; lots of people want delicious food at the same time 😉.

I would like to urgently request the owner to change the opening hours from Wednesdays to "Closed." Orders were possible via the website and app as usual; I paid the appropriate amount via PayPal and even received a written order confirmation. When nothing had been delivered more than an hour after the stated delivery time, I tried to contact the restaurant by phone, but received an answering machine informing me that Wednesdays had been closed since June 1, 2024, although there's no mention of this online. Now I hope I at least won't have to pay the bills myself. Unfortunately, this is very annoying; in my opinion, this is completely unacceptable, and we've always had only good experiences with Da Marco...

Very tasty Indian food! The pizzas and salads are also good. Overall prices are pretty fair compared to the competition. Delivery service is always reliable and very friendly. We regularly order from Da Marco. PS: Ordering via your own website instead of via Lieferando or your own app is cheaper 👍🏻

Now I have to leave a few impressions. 😉 We have been ordering food and having it delivered for about seven years now. The service is great and the food always came on time and, above all, warm! In seven years there was never anything to complain about. The employees were and are always very friendly and have a smile on their faces. The pasta, the pizza, the salads, the meat dishes and the desserts are really delicious... Thank you for that! The price/performance ratio is completely ok. What more could you want! 👍

Worst delivery service. It took us 2.5 hours to receive our order and we live 3 minutes away from the restaurant. All for a mediocre pizza

Very good prices but quality of food needs to be improved. I got bolognese and couldn't eat it because of the oil. But maybe that's why the prices are so good. I recommend a few pizzas.

I can only recommend it, good food, very friendly service (Italian, great!), free parking. Can be fully booked, calling in advance is helpful... Otherwise, a very romantic and well-maintained, clean restaurant with a great price/performance ratio. We always come back and look forward to our next visit.

Habe bis jetzt immer Essen nach Hause bestellt. Die Pizzen werden auf Extrawunsch so belegt, wie man es möchte. Die Lieferung erfolgt vergleichsweise schnell. Immer wieder gerne!

Hervorragende Pizza und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Viel mehr als ich erwartet habe.

Um es kurz zu machen. Solide Pizzas, gute Schnitzel, leckere Salate. Aber hervorzuheben ist die indische Küche! Ein Gaumenschmaus für jeden der diese Küche mag. Sehr weiterzuempfehlen. Personal freundlich und kümmert sich um einen. Schade das es sich "da Marco" nennen muss das es eher angefahren wird. Weiter so, wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind kommen wir gerne wieder.

Die Vorspeisen wie italienische Vorspeisenteller war gut allerdings lassen die Nudeln zu wünschen übrig. Die Pizza ist ebenfalls sehr gut und die indischen Speisen sind eher zu empfehlen.

Ich hatte eine Pizza und Spaghtetti bestellt. Sie haben super geschmeckt!

We have been having take out and dining it at da Marco for a long time. Pizzas and curry’s are delicious and the price is reasonable enough that we don’t feel too guilty ordering regularly. I recommend shahi paneer and a Pizza with pineapple, green spicy peppers and olives.

Best pizza in town. There are a lot of good Italian restaurants in Königstein but Da Marco us by far the best pizza around. We like to order our own version of a Margherita pizza with fresh tomatoes and garlic. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Despite the language barrier they always have the best attitude, which is very much appreciated. I owe you the pictures, we always finish the pizza before I can capture the beautiful pie. Delicious!

Haben zum ersten Mal da bestellt und Lieferung hat gut funktioniert. Leider war das Essen nicht unser Fall. Pizza labberig und Käse (4 Fromaggi) schmeckte nicht. Cannelloni und Lasagne hatten zu viel Teig und waren insgesamt so geht so. Ein zweites Mal wirds wohl nicht geben.

Dieser Hund von Lieferant hat ein Mangogetränk vor der Haustür, im Hauseingang und an den Wänden verschüttet und nichtmal Bescheid gesagt oder es auch nur versucht wegzuwischen! So eine Schweinerei die man dann selber beseitigen darf!!! 🤬🤬🤬 Essen ist gut.

Ganz spontan zum Abendessen besucht. Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit tollen Außenbereich und sehr freundlichen Personal.

Ich bestelle bei Da Marco jetzt schon seit über einem Jahr - meistens Pizza. Ich bin rundum zufrieden und auch auf spezielle Wünsche wird eingegangen. Auch die Gnocchi waren perfekt! Ich bleibe definitiv Stammkundin! :-)

Hab heute mal ein Schnitzel mit Steinpilzsosse bestellt. War mehr als angenehm über das zarte Schnitzel und die sehr geschmackvolle Soße angetan. Auch die Pommes knackig und lecker.

Samstag Abend und schönes Wetter. Zwischen 19:00 und 20:00 waren wir die einzigen Gäste. Sollte einem schon zu denken geben. Wir wollten 2 Rinder Filets war aber nur eins vorrätig und das zu Beginn des Wochenendes. Essen war nicht gut. Nie wieder.

I like to get food to go, and Da Marco has this option, so I have availed myself of it many times over the years. I have never been disappointed by the quality of the food and the service! I really love their spaghetti and their apfelstrudel, and the prices are really reasonable! Highly recommend!

Locale un po' retrò e menu un po' "standard" da ristorante-pizzeria mezzo indiano e mezzo italiano. Gentili nel servizio e possibilità d'asporto. Il ristorante consegna anche a domicilio. La pizza non è cotta in forno a legna. Possibilità di ordinare online.

Wir waren sehr angenehm überracht vom netten Ambiente mit gedämpftem Licht und Kerzenschein, der sehr freundlichen Bedienung und dem leckeren Essen. Dass es auch indische Küche ibt tut der Qualität absolut nichts ab. Wir waren sehr zufriden und werden das Lokal gerne wieder besuchen. Gäste mit Schlemmerblock sind willkommen!
