“Unfortunately disappointing” We ordered four pizzas today. Unfortunately there were two problems: We found a hair in the edge of the dough in a pizza, which is of course an absolute no-go. In addition, the shrimp pizza was apparently spoiled, as my friend developed stomach problems a short time later. I used to love ordering from here and the quality was always excellent. But unfortunately I have the impression that the pizzeria has declined a lot recently, which I think is a real shame. Hygiene should always be a top priority - especially in the catering industry. I hope that the pizzeria responds to such feedback and improves again, because it was once really a favorite of mine. A review like this is fair because you describe your experience and give the pizzeria a chance to improve instead of just badmouthing it. Remember that honest feedback can improve operations in the long term.

Super tasty pizza. Great ingredients, just like Neapolitan pizza should be. The owners are very hospitable. Thank you very much for the nice hosts for the lemon 😉.

I ordered the Pizza La Bufala and was amazed at how good it was. This is authentic pizza for those who appreciate quality. The last time I had pizza this good was in Sicily. A proper thin crust, charred on the bottom from a real fire, with the perfect amount of high quality sauce. Cannot recommend highly enough. Their balsamic dressing is also excellent and includes what is clearly fresh cracked black pepper. I ordered the La Bufala pizza and was amazed at how good it was. This is authentic pizza for those who value quality. The last time I had pizza this good was in Sicily. We ordered a four cheese pizza and a pasta and the delivery took about an hour. Instead of four cheeses, we got a normal pizza with tomato sauce and not even cheese on it. The pasta was also slightly burnt on the edge and not particularly good…

I would give zero stars if it were possible. (They're lucky I've already eaten) Ordered there and waited a long time. Driver also got lost. Pizza wasn't particularly convincing, but it was enough to satisfy the hunger.

Pure disaster! We wanted to order some pizzas on a WEDNESDAY EVENING. All well and good. When the pizza didn't come after more than an hour, we called again to ask when the pizza would come. We were told she would be on her way in 10 minutes at the latest. Apparently she wasn't, because after another 40 minutes she still wasn't there. After another, very unfriendly phone call in which we were literally shouted at that we had called just 20 minutes ago, our attempt to cancel was practically stopped when he called us again and said that cancellation was no longer possible , they are almost there. The pizza was okay, the service was not.

It used to be the best pizza in Königstein. Unfortunately not anymore.

Our four cheese pizza was very good but our Buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil pizza had no basil on it! Hello, Mcfly, are you in there? How do you forget to put the fresh basil on a basil pizza? Cannot recommend.

Unfortunately - despite ordering on time - no pizza was ready. The preparation didn't start until I was already there. The 5 became 15 minutes. Really annoying. The pizza itself was okay. One could hope for understanding in vain. The 3-star review was followed by a personal call from the pizzeria saying that this behavior was unacceptable.

I have never experienced such miserable service. After 45 minutes the online delivery was not there. After we asked, we were told we didn't have a delivery in your area at the moment and we would have to wait another 45 minutes. Apart from that, the order was paid for and I still have to take care of the refund. Never again. The service does not deserve a star or a recommendation.

Service is terrible. Our pizzas were undersized and deformed without any explanation. We also ordered them for delivery and after 1 hr we called and were told they would take another hour for delivery or another 30 minutes for pick-up. The pizzas are delicious but I’m not sure they’re worth putting up with the awful service.

Delivery was way too late, children had to go through their first concert hungry. Especially the young vegetarians and vegans. Their pizzas arrived a whole hour late, which also affected the concert time. The whole concert was half an hour late and no understanding from the pizzeria.

Was supposed to be delivered at 6 p.m. but it wasn't there until an hour later. Our orchestra's concert had to be postponed and everyone was hungry! The pizzeria knew that our concert started at 7 p.m.!

My wife, mother-in-law and I had concert tickets last night, which we were really looking forward to. The orchestra had pre-ordered food from this pizzeria. The concert was supposed to start at 7 p.m., but that didn't work because the second batch of pizza didn't arrive until 6:50 p.m. We could hear that the first one was half an hour late. The concert couldn't start until around 7:30 p.m. and during the break we were told that some of the poor children had to play hungry because the entire delivery never arrived. That would have taken even longer and was unacceptable to the audience. I hope the orchestra at least didn't have to pay the full price for the pizza. Such projects always have to be money-oriented anyway and with such a delay, a price reduction is more than appropriate as compensation. Unfortunately, no one will compensate me for my mother-in-law's nagging, who of course blamed me for the fault and ruined my evening. There is no way we will ever go to this pizzeria again!

NEVER ORDER DELIVERY THERE! They are súper slow. Which is a pity because the food was allright but not for waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes (specially ordering easy things like two pizzas and a salad). Dissapointed.

Ordered there from Lieferando. We then waited 90 minutes for the order until we were called and told that half of the order could no longer be prepared because everything "went empty". It's a shame to keep us waiting so long. Theoretically we would have had to wait another 60 minutes for food. The app said 60 minutes from the start!!! If you're hungry and want to wait a long time, feel free to order!

Love this place, ordering window is super convenient and walking distance from home. Always very welcoming and the pizzas are top notch. The dough has a touch of sweet and chewy which makes it so much better than other options in the area. If you don’t see what you want on the menu just ask :)

The best pizza in town! =) We've been eating in and ordering delivery since the restaurant opened. Delicious, perfect crust, great assortment of ingredients, great desserts! I've seen some reviews with people complaining about delivery, if you want great pizza, it's worth a little bit of waiting! Highly recommended! *Edit 2024: Still the best pizza I have ever eaten. I travel a lot for work and stay in different cities, but being from Croatia, and having eaten real Italian pizza, this is the ONLY restaurant I know that has the proper dough and just the right amount of toppings. Perfect vehicle for good ingredients. I'd eat it by itself. Hands on Oliva's pizza is the best pizza I've had in my life! =D Thank you Oliva team, I'll really miss your art of making pizza when I move to East Germany. Unfortunately we had bad experiences with this pizzeria. We had to wait over 1 1/2 hours for our pizza and then it was inedible. That was the last time we ordered there.

My salad and pizza bread arrived after 2h50min. I also had to call and follow up twice. The salad was also very small for €10.

One time the wrong pizza was delivered and the salad only had half the ingredients. :( After I called, there was basically information that Lieferando was the last to be delivered and that we would have a pizza if we ordered by phone in the future. Said and done…. Delivery time is 45 minutes and there is a free salad. After 1.5 hours and a query, we were told that the pizza would be out in 20 minutes. Too bad, not recommended. You can also announce in advance that it will take this long.

This is such a rude restaurant. If I wanted to get money back I had to come directly to the restaurant.

Es schmeckt überhaupt nicht. Die Pizzen haben nichts mit einer Neapolitanischen Pizza zu tun. Weder der Teig noch die Zutaten waren gut. Geschmacklich sehr schlecht!

Die mit Abstand beste pizzaria in Königstein !!! Das Personal ist super freundlich wie die Inhaber, arbeiten sauber und schnell ich war mit allem zufrieden. Der Teig war das Highlight und nicht zu vergessen sehr sehr leckere Mozzarella Käse preis Leistung‘s Verhältnis stimmt auch überein. Der lieferservice war auch top! Pizza war in 30 min da noch ganz heiß . 🔥 danke an das La Oliva Team

Via Lieferando bestellt, es wurden 40 Minuten angegeben, dann 60 Minuten. Als diese vorbei waren, wurde ich angerufen mit der Bitte weitere 15 Minuten zu warten, daraus wurden dann 30 bis ich einfach angerufen habe. Man hat sich entschuldigt und mich und meine Kollegen um noch mehr Geduld gebeten. Da unsere Geduld aber nach 90 Minuten Wartezeit erschöpft war, haben wir unser Geld (rund 40€) zurück gefordert und uns wurde vom Restaurant Mitarbeiter vorgeworfen wir würden dem Restaurant und dem Fahrer nicht entgegen kommen - trotz unserer Geduld. Uns wurde lediglich ein Gutschein angeboten. Da wir also kein Geld zurück erhalten haben, gingen wir davon aus, dass das Essen dann doch noch irgendwann ankommt - tatsächlich ist es aber nie bei uns eingetroffen. Man hat also das Geld und das Essen einbehalten. Das Verhalten des Restaurants war mit Abstand das unprofessionellste was ich im Service Bereich jemals erlebt habe, daher habe ich es bei Lieferando blockiert.

Really good pizza but delivery time is horrible! 1,5-2hrs!!! We always try to give them the benefit of the doubt but it just gets worse and worse. And when you call them, they lie about being nearby.

Hier gibt es eine gute, vegane Marinara. Top. Bietet doch ein bisschen mehr Getränke Auswahl.

wir haben Sonntags abend zwei pizzen bestellt und mehr als 2h auf sie gewartet. Der Teig war nicht ganz durch. Man könnte auch einfach sagen, dass sie zu viel zu tun haben. Bestellen sollte man am besten nicht sonntags abends.

Die Pizza ist ganz lecker aber für den Preis bei der größe schon Recht teuer.

Wir waren in Königstein zu einem Krankenbesuch. Die Fahrt dauerte ein bisschen länger als geplant, was auf das Essen ungeahnte aber doch extrem positive Konsequenzen hatte. Um es kurz zu sagen: Wenn man Appetit auf Pizza hat in Königstein, es Samstag ist und später als 14.30 Uhr, dann hat man (k)ein Problem. Wir standen vor der geplanten Pizzeria vor verschlossener Tür....und auch alle anderen Läden schlossen ihre Küchen bis zum Abend oder man stand vor komplett geschlossener Tür. Google meinte dann noch La Oliva hat bis 21.30 Uhr geöffnet, okay...die paar Meter jetzt noch machen den Kohl nicht fett, da gehen (fahren) wir jetzt hin. Der Blick über die Straße zeigte, der Laden hat auf! Juchu! Dazu ist das Erscheinungsbild für mich sehr positiv und einladend....und das für einen "Bringdienst". Das Wetter war gut, also haben wir auf der Terrasse Platz genommen, an hohen Tischen auf "Barhockern". Und das ist der einzige Punkt, den ich negativ anmerken muss, was allerdings sicher auf irgendwelche Regularien zurückzuführen ist, und man sonst sicher mehr anbieten muss an Toiletten usw., Tische und Stühle wären schöner für mich als Gast. Die sehr freundliche Bedienung kam und nahm unsere Bestellung auf, ich wurde noch gefragt ob ich auf meine Salami normal oder scharf haben möchte, ich wählte die scharfe. Die Getränke kamen und dann auch recht fix unsere Pizza. Wow! Sieht die gut aus! Der erste optische Eindruck hat nicht getäuscht. Was für eine leckere Pizza, der Boden richtig schön dünn mit einem super Rand, eine tolle Tomatensauce, meine scharfe Salami genau richtig würzig. Eine richtige neapolitanische Pizza! Wer in Königstein irgendwo anders seine Pizza bestellt, ist selber Schuld. Keine übliche Pfannenpizza, nein auf Boden im Ofen gebacken. Wenn es um die Pizza geht, eine absolute Empfehlung! Nein, eine Hawaii bekommt ihr dort nicht.

Nur normales Essen, nichts Besonderes, keine Signatur oder irgendetwas Bemerkenswertes. Kleiner Tipp: Eine Pizza mit Ei sollte das Ei in der Mitte der Pizza haben, nicht überall kleine Stücke. Sie respektieren die Angaben und sind punktuell!

Die bestellten Pizzen kamen eine Stunde nach dem vereinbarten Zeitpunkt an (10 min Entfernung). Die Pizzen waren ganz lecker, aber nicht mehr heiß.

Die 2 beste Pizza Königsteins war noch nie im Lokal drinnen habe immer bei Lieferando bestellt wo die Pizza nach 3 Stunden erst kam oder so naja das mit der Warte Zeit muss noch dran gefeilt werden aber euchre marinara pizza ist die Bombe
