Was eating here for the first time, it's a nice restaurant, a little hidden away. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent and very nicely prepared. The only handicap is that you have to bring time. But the waiting time is worth it for a first-class meal 😋😋😋 We'll be happy to come back ☺️
The restaurant was recommended to me as a business traveler by a local.
After a long walk, I arrived shortly after 8 p.m. on a Thursday. The apparent owner didn't pay attention to me for about 5 minutes because he was busy at his cash register. When it took too long for me, I went to him and had to wait another 3 minutes until he turned to me and immediately said that the kitchen was closing at 8 p.m., even though the restaurant was still busy!
The internet says open until 11pm...
Well, some restaurateurs are openly showing that they are doing very well again. Guests seem unimportant to him!
Conclusion... please avoid the restaurant!
We've been eating there every now and then for years. And as always, it tastes excellent. The ingredients in the dishes taste fresh. The service is attentive and friendly. However, the pace makes you feel a bit rushed. As soon as the starter is eaten, the main course arrives. It also happened that I still had the starter in front of me and my main course had already been brought. Of course I think it's good that you don't have to wait an hour for food. But it shouldn't be express delivery either. I come to the restaurant to have a relaxing time with delicious food. Maybe we could work on it a little more. And what I've noticed over the last few visits is the ambience. No more table decorations. It seems too cold and almost a bit too much like a cafeteria. The coziness has been lost a bit.
Never again.
For salad. Yoghurt dressing without taste, missing everything. Lettuce huge pieces and only quartered tomatoes. You have to start cutting first.
To the pizza.
It was quartered even though we didn't order it that way. The logical consequence of this was that the pizza was half soggy and limp, not even remotely crispy. You should know as a pizza service.
For these reasons I cannot recommend it and will not order there again.
We spent a short holiday in Kronach...we haven't had such delicious Italian food in a long time...the host was very friendly and the price/performance ratio was reasonable.
We went for brunch on Sunday, we were totally thrilled, great selection of food and even roulades with dumplings for lunch......The service was very, very nice, we'll definitely be back and can't understand the bad experiences, For us it was the total opposite and we can only recommend the Seecafe!
