Been there twice now; sent away for breakfast; Then we wanted to try the lunch menu that was advertised and we were sent away again with the statement that the kitchen now had to make preparations.
You just can't think of anything else; but if you can afford to send guests away, please.

Very nice and friendly staff. Good selection of food and drinks. There's something for everyone. There's even a separate smoking room to avoid disturbing the non-smokers.
Bright, cozy atmosphere, rich buffet, but also a la carte ordering possible. The service is very nice, used plates are quickly picked up from the table. Drinks orders are delivered quickly. Larger groups are usually placed in the winter garden; from there the route to the buffet is not much further than that in the taproom. The buffet is regularly replenished hot, so there is something for every taste. There is also ice cream and baked fruits, as well as a salad buffet and a small sushi tray

I celebrated my 60th birthday in December (a while ago). The food was great, the service was great, a great team, an unforgettable party. I just read that the "canteen" will be over in May. It's a shame, so much work went into the renovation... it's a little insider tip, the beautiful beer garden in the summer, and as I said, you can party well there. We're keeping our fingers crossed for a new beginning and will definitely come to the Waldapotheke. But we'll also come to the "canteen" again, which is a MUST.
They waited a long time. They messed up our order - they gave us the wrong burger and spicy wings instead of legs. There were a lot of people in the restaurant and not enough staff, so most likely because of this there were delays and incorrect issuing of orders. Restaurant management needs to better plan the number of employees.
