We had breakfast there twice as part of our short vacation to the Playmobil Fun Park.
Staff very friendly, great atmosphere due to the play town inside the HOB. Breakfast selection is great. However, there could be something like pancakes for the kids. My son knows this from other children's hotels and was a little disappointed because there was Kaiserschmarrn and that's not for everyone. But this is just the icing on the cake. We thought it was really great.
The water was perfect, cool, tasty, and low in sodium. The wine was perfect, not too warm and not too cool for this rather dry, slightly fruity red wine. Excellent food: juicy tuna steak, perfectly melted potatoes in butter, simply outstanding flavor, seasoned, and rounded off with coarsely ground salt. The shrimp were also excellent, juicy and flavorful. The baguette was crispy, and the homemade dips were excellent. The food and drinks were worth every cent; what a fantastic, enjoyable evening, and a fair price. The ambiance, friendliness, music, and art on the wall—it couldn't have been better.
Today I bought 4 families pizzas for our birthday and ordered them at a certain time. They asked that the pizza be ready by then, it was ready as agreed, super tasty, our guests were all very satisfied and went home grateful and full gone, thank you very much and keep it up! 🥰
I was in Nuremberg on a business trip and stayed at the hotel. It was a nice hotel with clean rooms. Friendly owners. Good value for money. Breakfast included.
The crust of the Schläuerla could have been crispier and the sauerkraut could have been cooked longer. The service was excellent and courteous. Beer and schnapps are tasty and food and drinks are reasonably priced.
EDIT
After this top-down answer, I am changing the rating to 1 star.
If this is a mistake on your part that you acknowledge, why not offer a refund?
Inexperienced staff may be possible, but unskilled no. So not knowing the prices, not knowing the map and not being able to use the cash register is not acceptable. What understanding do you want?
Furthermore, why don't you get a receipt automatically?
And no, expecting Kalamata olives is not excessive. A glass isn't that expensive, and you don't put half a glass on every pizza.
But yes, you can also see in your answers in the other reviews that you don't accept answers but feedback and distort the guest's perception so that it's actually their own fault, they should save themselves criticism and accept everything.

The pizzas are above average and delicious. But there is still room for improvement when it comes to ingredients. A higher quality salami would improve the whole thing. The same applies to the olives. Why are blackened green olives chosen from the bottom shelf here instead of delicious black olives? E.g. Kalamata olives. As is well known, taste can be debated.
I'm only giving it two stars because the evening ended up being very strange:
- The fact that we had to wait over 20 minutes for our Apérol Spritz was unpleasant but was blamed on the many orders. We didn't think anything of it at first. But even the two spritzers for the children took over 15 minutes. At that point, 3 tables were occupied, including our table. So where was all the work here?
- People are constantly coming to pick up orders. The two service staff prioritize their efforts on serving the pick-up customers instead of the guests sitting inside.
- One of the service staff was always busy looking away so that you wouldn't politely ask her for an additional drink, another dish or the bill.
- We were told that there are also “kids’ pizzas”. When paying, the surprise came: the waitresses didn't even know the price of the children's pizza and had to call the operator first. The end result was that the children's pizza was priced at €7. Each additional ingredient costs €1.50 extra. This means that ham, salami and olives on a children's pizza cost €11.50. So the same price as an adult pizza with even more ingredients. This is pure rip off! When I mentioned this, I was told “I don’t really know what the prices are either.”
- So there are waitresses working who don't know the card, can't give any price information and admit that they don't know anything.
- Operating the cash register system was also new territory. It was so difficult that no receipt was issued. In order to make sure of the invoice amount, I then added up the prices from the card. Then I noticed the rip-off with the children's pizza.
That was the first and last time we ate there.
No idea about their own products, little desire to serve them and local guests take priority over online orders.
To be honest, no restaurant will operate and only do pick-up.
