Very yummy ice cream! Some classic and more creative types can be found. Pistachio ice cream is also very good (hard to get it right, but they did!). Definitely worth a visit! 🫶 +As of February 2025 the price for a ball is 2,30-2,40€

Great place to get a pizza or an ice cream (or both, depending on the weather). The prices are very fair, considering the location. I‘ve lived in the area for ~ 2 years and come to Pizzamatrosen regularly. My favorite is the Pizza „Hafenkante“.

I only had bad experiences when the wax was opened during the summer time. I didn't see the staff being careful enough about basic hygiene to touch money and ice cream. I hope they will improve it for next season. I'm pretty disappointed and disgusted so I wouldn't go again. They said they couldn't care enough because they were busy, but being busy and forgetting basic hygiene can't coexist when handling food.

I drive here especially from Norderstedt, checking on Google beforehand whether the store is open. Once there, the store has been on winter break for two months. Thanks for nothing. Next time please update times when we go into the winter break.

Delicious ice cream on the way to the train station. A little more expensive but unusual flavors and a sample portion with every scoop of ice cream. Atmosphere not so inviting and staff unfriendly.

Expensive at €2 per ball (08/2024), but perhaps that is the usual big city price. Varieties nothing special, ice cream was quite good, but nothing very special either. Quick but the best selection we could find in the Portuguese Quarter. Simple street sales between shops and restaurants. Service very friendly and quick.
