I ate doner kebab at Marasch Doner Kebab, but it wasn't just a meal, it was an epiphany. At the first bite my eyes closed, a mixture of Mehter and Halay playing within me. The taste of this doner reconciled me with my former life. The employees were so interested that for a moment I wondered whether I was a secret partner of this business, whether the environment was already a celebration of the family home, my stomach feasted, my soul played Zeybek with joy, Michelin star, there is little, a direct Galaxy award is needed here, Marascher, I will not leave you.

I wanted to try it... and I extremely regretted it. Firstly, it took me an extremely long time to hold my Dürüm in my hand. Secondly, it was the grossest one I've ever tasted. The meat was tough, the vegetables were smelly and the sauce tasted artificial. And thirdly, I was withdrawn. The sign says Dürüm 5.50 euros. But when I paid I suddenly said I had to pay 6 euros. Just stay away from the store! There are much better alternatives on Landgrabenstrasse or Dianaplatz, each 5 minutes away.

I had hoped for a lot more from the Harput Imbiss on Allersberger Straße. Unfortunately, the kebab was neither tasty nor fresh - the meat seemed dry, the bread stale and the sauce bland. In addition, the vegetables were anything but crunchy, which suggests a lack of freshness. The service also left a lot to be desired: the employees seemed stressed and unfriendly, and it took an unusually long time until I got my food - despite the low number of customers. Cleanliness was another problem: the counter was sticky and the tables weren't cleaned regularly. The entire atmosphere seemed rather loveless. Unfortunately for me it was a one-off visit. There are much better alternatives for a good kebab in Nuremberg.

We had the pizzas delivered to us, Herzogstandstr. I have to say respect! The pizza tasted better than some Italians. Guys, keep it up and we'll be regular customers!
