Shabab's Gemüsekebab in Nürnberg

Ich war hier noch nie, aber ich weiß durch viele unterschiedliche Leute, dass es super ist🤙

Ich habe mich Heute so gefreut wieder einen Shababs Döner zu essen und wurde leider massivst enttäuscht. Yaprak Fleisch gab es nicht, dass Hähnchenfleisch hat mehlig geschmeckt. Die anderen Zutaten und das Brot waren in Ordnung. Schade, dass sich Shababs gefühlt von einer Ausnahme zu einem Standard Döner, den man in jedem Dorf findet entwickelt hat. Hoffe beim nächsten mal (wenn überhaupt) dann wieder zum alten Goldstandard.

War leider nicht so die beste Erfahrung. Schon die Toilette hat einen ziemlich kaputten und ungepflegten Eindruck gemacht. Es gab nicht einmal eine Toilettenschüssel. Auch mit der Bedienung gab es Probleme. Unsere Bestellung wurde falsch verstanden, und als wir freundlich gesagt haben, dass wir keine Soße möchten, wurde das Essen einfach komplett weggeschmissen. Statt die Situation entspannt zu lösen, war die Reaktion leider ziemlich genervt und patzig. Die Sitzplätze draußen waren ebenfalls recht dreckig, sodass man sich dort nicht wirklich wohlgefühlt hat. Der Döner selbst war für den Preis meiner Meinung nach deutlich zu teuer. Geschmacklich war er okay, aber nichts Besonderes. Insgesamt hat das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für mich leider nicht gestimmt.

Ich habe heute in diesem Restaurant gegessen und es hat mir alles sehr gut gefallen. Die Bedienung war freundlich, und obwohl ich kein Deutsch spreche, halfen sie mir auf Englisch bei der Auswahl. Das Fleisch war gut durchgebraten, das Gemüse und die Soßen waren köstlich.

der döner ist lecker aber der service leider nicht so schlange ist richtig lang gewesen, haben 30 min auf den döner gewartet. die mitarbeiter standen einfach nur rum und haben irgendwie keine döner gemacht. ein spieß war leer und wurde grad neu dran gemacht, aber ein andere nicht. man hätte die situation aufjedenfall besser lösen können. leider geh ich nicht mehr hin. wem es nichts ausmacht, dem empfehle ich den döner dennoch!

Ich verstehe den Hype um den Laden ehrlich gesagt nicht. Ich glaube, da wurde einfach irgendwann ein großer Hype draus gemacht und seitdem läuft das Ganze extrem über Social Media. Ich habe dort mehrfach gegessen – Döner, Dönerteller usw. – und das Fleisch war jedes Mal nur durchschnittlich. In Nürnberg gibt es definitiv bessere Kebabs. Der Service wirkt leider extrem unfreundlich und teilweise hochnäsig. Selbst an Feiertagen wie heute zum Opferfest kam auf ein freundliches „Eid Mubarak“ keinerlei Reaktion. Insgesamt einfach kein angenehmes Gefühl als Kunde. Für mich persönlich klar überbewertet!!

Ich fuhr mich mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und fragte seinen gerade kennengelernten Jungen, welcher seiner Meinung nach der beste Döner in Nürnberg sei, er antwortete ohne zu zögern sehr schnell Friedrich Ebert Platz. Ich stimme ihm absolut zu, lebe seit mehr als 10 Jahren in Nürnberg und kann sagen, dass der beste Döner mit gegrillten Gemüsen hier ist!!!)))))) p.s.Li..!? Guten Appetit!!!!

Preis Leistung passt hier mittlerweile nicht mehr. Chicken Dürum 8,90, chicken kebab 7,90 und mit einem Ayran und Grillgemüse somit schnell über 10 Euro pro Person. Die Soße kommt leider auch aus dem Eimer, auch das Brot wird nur aufgebacken. Insgesamt daher nur Durchschnitt. Es gibt bessere Alternativen, leider nicht in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Natürlich in der Südstadt, aber auch in der Johannisstraße oder in der Pickheinerstrasse.

Ich habe diesen Ort erst richtig zu schätzen gewusst, als ich eine Weile verreist war. Das Essen ist einfach unschlagbar. Immer frisch und unglaublich lecker. Das Personal ist super, immer freundlich und bedient blitzschnell. Tolle Öffnungszeiten und Preise! Kein Wunder, dass dieser Laden so viele Gäste hat. Besser geht's nicht.

Ohne zu übertreiben: Bester Chicken Döner in Deutschland‼️‼️

Ich habe nur mit Fleisch und Zwiebeln bestellt. Sie waren sehr geizig mit dem Fleisch – es war fast nur Brot und Soße. Und man zahlt einen Haufen Geld dafür, dass der Döner nur aus Brot und Zwiebeln besteht.

Der beste Döner der Stadt – mit Abstand! Unbedingt den mit Grillgemüse und pikanter Cocktailsauce probieren, ihr werdet es nicht bereuen! Auch Vegetarier kommen voll auf ihre Kosten: Falafel und Gemüsebratlinge gibt es reichlich. Das Personal ist super freundlich und schnell – sie sprechen Deutsch und Englisch. Die langen Schlangen sind absolut gerechtfertigt!

Ich habe heute einen Döner bei Shabbabs gegessen und war leider eher enttäuscht. Ich hatte einen Döner mit Hühnerfleisch, Knoblauchsauce, Zwiebeln und Tomaten. Fangen wir beim Brot an: Es handelt sich offenbar um ein fertiges Fladenbrot, vermutlich Massenware. Geschmacklich sehr schwach und der Teig war trocken – insgesamt wenig überzeugend. Das Hühnerfleisch war qualitativ in Ordnung, aber ziemlich neutral und kaum gewürzt. Die Sauce war eine Art Joghurt-Tzatziki-Creme, die okay war und sehr einfach. Positiv waren die roten Zwiebeln – frisch und geschmacklich einwandfrei. Die Cocktailtomaten hingegen hatten einen seltsamen Nachgeschmack, sodass ich sie entfernt habe. Insgesamt war der Döner ziemlich fad und hat wenig Spaß gemacht zu essen. Es fehlt einfach an Würze und Geschmack. Daher würde ich ihn nur als „ausreichend“ bewerten – wenn man Hunger hat, isst man ihn, mehr aber auch nicht. Was ich nicht ganz nachvollziehen kann, ist der große Andrang. Dort steht oft eine lange Schlange, obwohl der Service eher langsam wirkt und teilweise unkoordiniert ist. Für mich wirkt es eher wie ein Hype, den ich geschmacklich nicht bestätigen kann. Rund um den Friedrich-Ebert-Platz fehlt für mich weiterhin ein wirklich guter Döner.

Mein absoluter Lieblingsdöner, leckere Saucen, frische Zutaten und vor allem neben Salat auch Gemüse.

Die Nudeln waren unglaublich lecker – frisch, perfekt gewürzt und einfach richtig gutes Essen. Aber was mir noch mehr in Erinnerung bleibt, ist die Herzlichkeit dort. So ein freundlicher und menschlicher Umgang ist heute leider selten geworden. Man merkt einfach, dass hier nicht nur Essen verkauft wird, sondern dass auch auf die Menschen geachtet wird. Wirklich ein besonderer Laden. Klare Empfehlung!

Super lecker Gemüse Döner erinnert an Berlins Mustafas. Super leckere Saucen, Grillgemüse und Gemüseladen, sehr zu empfehlen! Oftmals eine Schlange vor dem Laden, zurecht! Die Jungs sind aber schnell und eingespielt, sowie sehr freundlich.

Geschmacklich wirklich guter Döner – Fleisch gut gewürzt, Soßen lecker und das Gemüse frisch. Man merkt, dass Qualität verwendet wird. der Döner leider etwas klein ist und nicht ganz satt macht Trotzdem insgesamt sehr solide und geschmacklich top – komme gerne wieder! 🌯

Keine Ahnung warum da ständig ne Schlange ist. Die Pommes waren billig und nur mit Geschmacksverstärker gewürzt. Kein Vergleich zu guten Pommes. Vielleicht ist der Döner besser, deshalb 2 anstatt 1 Stern. Die Mitarbeiter waren aber super freundlich und hilfsbereit

Das ist vielleicht der beste Döner Kebab in Nürnberg. Drinnen gibt es nur wenige Sitzplätze, aber im Sommer kann man draußen sitzen.

DAS ist der beste döner der stadt. Schon beim ersten Biss merkt man die Qualität: Das Kalbfleisch ist saftig, perfekt gewürzt und schön angebraten, nicht trocken und nicht fettig. Besonders stark ist das gebratene Gemüse, das dem Döner nochmal extra Geschmack gibt und alles richtig rund macht. Frische Zutaten, gutes Brot und eine top Balance der Soßen. Kein 08/15-Döner, sondern einfach konstant lecker. Wer echten Geschmack will, ist hier genau richtig.

Super Laden! War heute zum ersten Mal dort. Der Laden und das Team wirken richtig fresh, alles ist sauber und ordentlich. Der Beef-Döner mit Grillgemüse war der beste, den ich bisher gegessen habe. Klare 5 Sterne. PS: Der Dönerladen gegenüber tut mir irgendwie leid 😄

Sehr leckeres Döner. Mittlerweile aber zu einem stolzen Preis. Der Service ist freundlich. Um die Mittagszeit muss man viel Zeit und Geduld mitbringen, bis man an die Reihe kommt. Das liegt an der langen Schlange hungriger Menschen. Das Ambiente ist das eines Imbiss. Nicht mehr, nicht weniger.

Absolut überragender Döner! Schon beim Reinkommen merkt man, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Das Brot ist frisch und perfekt knusprig, das Fleisch saftig und hervorragend gewürzt. Die Soßen sind mega lecker und perfekt abgestimmt – nicht zu viel, nicht zu wenig. Auch das Gemüse ist frisch und knackig, genau so, wie es sein soll. Der Service ist super freundlich und schnell, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Preis-Leistung ist top und die Portionen machen richtig satt. Für mich definitiv einer der besten Döner in der Stadt – komme garantiert wieder!

Delicious doner kebab! The meat was juicy, the bread fresh, and the sauces were excellent. The portions were generous, and the staff was friendly. The place was clean and cozy. Highly recommended.

A decent doner kebab Shababs offers three types of bread: dürüm, flatbread, and doner bread. I can't say whether the products are homemade. The dürüm is limp and, unfortunately, rubbery. It's anything but crispy and flavorful. Freshly made dürüms taste significantly better. The vegetables are appetizing and neatly arranged in the display case. The chicken and beef, however, lacked any discernible flavor. The beef was also very dry and tough. On the other hand, the sauces are delicious. The spicy cocktail sauce is more like a cream and has a mild heat. The service is a major drawback. Everyone is friendly, but extremely laid-back. Consequently, extremely long wait times are inevitable. We had to wait a full 15 minutes before we could order our doner – and that was outside of peak hours and in an almost empty shop. The ambiance is okay for a doner kebab shop. Overall, this isn't a döner kebab I'd make a special trip for. The Berlin döner kebabs and similar places are significantly better and also cheaper.

We were there today as a larger group. Nine people can't be wrong. Everyone was thrilled and, of course, completely full by the end. The restaurant is clean and tidy. You can tell it's very well-run and the staff enjoy their work. They work quickly and pay close attention to the guests' wishes. My bowl was absolutely delicious. What a fantastic product! The beef was absolutely delicious and sliced ​​crisply; I haven't seen a kebab shop that cut it with such care in a long time. The choice between regular bread and flatbread is great. The meat was really flavorful and, of course, perfectly roasted. The grilled vegetables weren't overpowering but harmonized beautifully with the rest of the salad. I only had the yogurt/garlic sauce, but it was absolutely perfect; a cocktail sauce just wouldn't do. Overall, a real treat and highly recommended. The staff were also incredibly friendly and really went the extra mile!

Absolutely delicious, I would eat it again anytime. The price is steep, but definitely justified by the quality.

It's always packed, and rightly so! Whether you order it in bread or flatbread – both are homemade and absolutely delicious. The meat is juicy and flavorful, the sauces are fantastic (especially the spicy one!), and the vegetables are consistently fresh. The grilled vegetables, however, are definitely the highlight – perfectly seasoned and with a wonderful roasted aroma. The portions are just right: you'll leave satisfied, but not stuffed. As is typical for street food, it's often a bit noisy, and there are only a few seats, but that's just part of the experience – perfectly understandable with such good and successful food. Honestly, it might just be the best döner kebab in Nuremberg.

After three tests, I'm certain: this is the best kebab in Nuremberg! Especially the chicken version – juicy and guaranteed cooked through, as they let the skewer sizzle for a long time. The kebab plate is huge – for a mid-range option, the bowl is recommended. And: the music is a thousand times better than the competition!

Truly the best vegetable kebab I've had in our region! I had the chicken vegetable kebab with grilled vegetables and spicy sauce, and it tasted simply sensational from the first bite to the last! Despite the busyness, the wait was only short, and the manager and staff were simply helpful and friendly. The price is absolutely fantastic. It was my first time there, but certainly not my last.

I tried the chicken and vegetable kebab at Shababs on two different days, and in two different versions. First of all: The chicken is really delicious, nicely seasoned, and juicy. Then there are the sauces, which are one of the highlights for me… truly intense in flavor, almost "brutally delicious." The vegetables were also super fresh on both visits and perfectly rounded off the whole experience. But for me, the bread made the difference. The first time, I tried the doner in traditional bread. It was good, no question, but something was missing. Tastes differ, of course, but for me, the bread just wasn't 100% right. The second time, I had the doner in a flatbread, and that was a real game-changer! Suddenly, everything was just right. For me, the flatbread is truly the best chicken doner in all of Nuremberg. It's amazing how much the right bread can change the overall impression. The price for the doner kebab is €7.50, which is absolutely fair for the quality. My only criticism: the contents could be a bit more generous. And sometimes they skimp on the sauces rather than go all out; I would have liked a few more spoonfuls. Nevertheless, I love coming back here because it's simply incredibly delicious, and the chicken doner kebab in a flatbread remains unbeatable for me.

MANY THINK I'M CRAZY, BUT: By far the best kebab in Bavaria. Not just a kebab... simply top-notch with everything that goes with it... the meat is so tender, it melts in your mouth like butter. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Unfortunately, the doner kebab was a huge disappointment! We knew about it from social media, where it's often touted as the best in Nuremberg. Unfortunately, we can't confirm that. The meat was tasty, but very dry and tough (veal). In addition, a doner kebab plate for €13 doesn't come with any bread. The service was okay, but not particularly fast or outstanding.

One of the best doner kebabs in town. The lemon on the meat gives it a special flavor, and it's not drenched in sauce. Very, very tasty, fresh, and plentiful. The staff was on the ball and quickly cleared the long line. It was my first time there, but certainly not the last. Top 👍🏻

Beef doner was always great, but they changed something in the meat which made it not as good anymore

By far the best kebab in all of Nuremberg. The staff is always friendly and listens to customer requests. The vegetable kebab in a flatbread with either chicken or veal tastes extremely good and is absolutely unbeatable value for money. The flatbread is crispy, and you can choose your own sauce (cocktail, hot cocktail, herbs, and hummus) and it pairs perfectly with the juicy meat. The grilled vegetables are the cherry on top. I've been coming here for almost a year now and will continue to do so in the future :) You just have to try to avoid the long line at lunchtime ;)

I really enjoy eating at Shababs and like to take food home after work. I always order with lots of sauce because it's incredibly delicious. The staff are extremely attentive, and the food is EXCELLENT. I highly recommend it.

I went to Shabab's Vegetable Kebab and ordered a chicken doner. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The bread was only briefly heated on the grill and was still cold. There was very little sauce, which made the doner dry and rather bland in taste. I don't quite understand why the place has so many good reviews—perhaps it's because there are no better alternatives in the area. It's a shame, I was expecting more.

Do you remember the SpongeBob episode when SpongeBob and Squidward had to deliver a Krusty Krab pizza and it took the entire episode? They were faster than Shabab. I've honestly never seen people work so slowly. I live around the corner and have been there at least 30 times. It tastes great, no question, but you can't get out of here in less than 20 minutes. One person is always standing at the cash register and watching the others work. It's become a kind of silent comedy show for me to watch. I always thought government offices and authorities worked inefficiently until I went to Shabab. Today's wait time: 25 minutes (and that's normal). I now comment on my wait time every time I've been there until something significant changes.

Despite the busyness, the staff seem completely disorganized and sometimes spend more time chatting with each other than concentrating on serving customers. Overall, the service could be significantly improved. The food I've had so far has been good.

For me, this is still the best kebab and dürüm in Nuremberg/Fürth/Erlangen. Unfortunately, the dürüm bread varies a bit. It's sometimes extremely dry and crumbly. I also think the quality has declined somewhat, and at the same time, the prices have increased. However, that's criticism at a very high level, and this is my favorite place!

Super delicious vegetable doner and durum, very well-filled, and a nice, refreshing selection with lemon and fresh salad. Everything from falafel to uruq is delicious! Sometimes during peak times, there are very long waits (30-40 minutes), but it's worth it. The staff are very friendly.

I didn't know it before. I went there yesterday, May 28, 2025, on a recommendation. I was pleasantly surprised. Service was friendly and quick, and the food was delicious. The bread was crispy and the doner meat was cooked perfectly, just as it should be. The owners there are really quick, taking three orders at once. Respect! The place is also very clean. I'd be happy to come back anytime I'm in the area. Unfortunately, parking is difficult in the area, but that's not the owners' fault. Using public transportation, however, is no problem.

The shop is busy, and you can sit inside and outside. The staff is friendly. Prices are a bit high, and the chicken doner has some additives, but they're labeled. Our kebab and dürüm were delicious; you can choose from several sauces, and they come with fresh lemon juice! Highly recommended.
