Hervorragendes Essen, sehr gute Speisenqualität, ausgezeichnete Weine. Leider war es bei unserem Besuch sehr kalt, was die Gemütlichkeit beeinträchtigt hat. Ansonsten schönes Ambiente, freundlicher Service. Kleiner Wehrmutstropfen, die Zeit zwischen den Gängen ist zu lang.

Good middle-class inn, with plenty of space in the beer garden. The service is attentive and very friendly. The food is offered at very fair prices. However, you shouldn't expect culinary miracles. My Jägerschnitzel was definitely fresh, the sauce was ready and relatively tasteless, the fries were a bit floury. The salad was fresh and... okay. The price-performance ratio definitely fits. The drinks came very quickly and the pilsner was extremely good on tap. In summary, I would describe the Hehner Hof as a good pub with an honest menu.

Only cash payment possible. We sat and ate in the beer garden. Tasted good. Half a chicken was nicely seasoned, but I didn't think it was very special. Simply delicious, that's why 4 stars.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend in der Schnitzel Schmiede in Mönchengladbach … Das Essen war sehr lecker, also sehr empfehlenswert! Die Bedienung ist super freundlich und großzügig. Also nur weiterzuempfehlen, freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen :)
