It's a good, home-style restaurant with a modern style, very friendly service, and good food. However, we were there on a Sunday and they offered a set menu. The beef soup was unfortunately very fatty, and the main course was very tasty, although there were significant differences in the quality of the meat. We then waited longer to order another drink. Dessert was supposed to be coming, but when we asked, we were told there was no dessert because the kitchen was overloaded. The service was also very limited. There was a woman and a waitress behind the counter. The waitress's friendly service, despite all the commotion, is to her credit.

My paprika schnitzel was delicious. The extra side salad was also very good.

The food was okay. The steak was okay, the schnitzel was pre-made, industrial-style. Unfortunately, they served an apple spritzer with bad apple juice.

The Ratskeller is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere. During our visit, not all the tables were occupied, which contributed to a pleasant and peaceful environment. The service was excellent; we were well-stocked with drinks and food. We ordered the Jägerschnitzel with fries, and the food was delicious. Price-wise, the restaurant is on the higher end, but the value for money is good. Despite the slightly higher prices, we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and definitely plan to return.

Things have never been as bad as they were last night at the fraternities' parade. The staff were more than overwhelmed.

Great restaurant, beautiful beer garden, friendly, personable service, and excellent food. It was our first time there and certainly won't be the last. Absolutely recommended if you want to eat delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere.

Very tasty dishes, generous portions, and a fair price. Outside, the courtyard could perhaps be spruced up a bit with a few plants. Otherwise, everything was great.

They welcome their people with a lot of love! The women who served us were absolutely great!! It's clean no matter where you visit the restaurant, it has been continually improved over the course of the year! The menu card is also ideal for people with a small wallet! We have been coming from Heinsberg for many years to have something to eat and chill out with friends! We came here three times for funeral coffee and were again pleasantly served and enjoyed the breakfast!

I have been a guest in the Ratskeller several times, with different numbers of people. Whether as a group of two, four or 11 people, everyone was always very satisfied with the food, the prices and, above all, the service. We would all love to come back.

I had dinner with a friend yesterday and it was super crowded. The service was absolutely friendly and didn't seem stressed. The food tasted very good and the waiting time was completely okay. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant with a varied menu. The atmosphere is clean and well-kept. I'd be happy to come back.

The food is excellent. You get really good meat for a low price. The schnitzels never have any fat or tendon. Unfortunately the service is very different. There are very nice and courteous waiters, but unfortunately there are also some who are in a bad mood and won't serve you. But the majority is very nice.

Today we had dinner with the family in the Ratskeller. We received a very friendly welcome and our waiter was simply great. We were thrilled with the food, the portions were huge and everyone enjoyed it. We'd love to come back, thank you very much.

The food is really very tasty. We wouldn't come back again because the waiters were unfriendly. We had to argue for a long time so that we could order a small salad that was supposedly only for children. We then received a starter salad for 6 euros, I would have liked to go back.

Event by a parodist "in a stylish ambience" in the annex, 3-course menu included. So, under “stylish ambience” you raise expectations that would at least meet even the modest expectations of a round, set table with a tablecloth, cloth napkin, glasses, etc. Unfortunately, this was not the case. This “hall” (concrete floor - it gets cold in the floor area, heaters at a height of four meters) has the charm of a fire department garage. Even shooting events have more ambience - and things are a bit more hearty here. It was not known beforehand what there was to eat. There was also no drinks menu. First of all, the positive: the staff was very friendly and tried hard! The food wasn't cold, the meat was OK. Dialogue before the start of the event: Waiter: Would you like to order something to drink? We: yes, gladly! Waiter: what would you like? Us: We would like some wine. Waiter: What kind? Red or white? Us: well, that depends on the food. What is there? Waiter: I don't know. I'll go ask... (comes back after three minutes) ... there are pork malons (no spelling mistakes! He really said "malons"). The vegan meal was without the medallions, just potatoes with beans. Us: OK, you could drink red or white. What kind of white wines do you have? Waiter: oh, I have to ask. The colleague brought the menu with the side that says “wines” at the top. And what did it say underneath: 1. white - dry - Riesling 2. white - dry - Pinot Gris 3. red - dry - Dornfelder When I asked what kind of Riesling or Pinot Gris it was, all I got was an uncomprehending shrug of the shoulders. The quality of the two white wines was just poor. You can probably (and hopefully) eat excellent “schnitzel with fries” in this village restaurant. "Upscale cuisine", "stylish ambience", etc. is a few numbers too high for the operator - so you look for it in vain. The I don't think it's bad at all. But: then you shouldn't offer it either.

The food and service were very good, unfortunately we have our favorite waitress (Xuong) not found today.

Yesterday we had dinner in the Ratskeller for the first time. The food was delicious and sufficient. The service was also good. What could perhaps be changed is the clothing of the staff. That leaves something to be desired. Otherwise everything was good.

As soon as you enter the Ratskeller, the guest is greeted by an extreme smell of food. Is there no ventilation here or is it switched off? The tables are very close together; we had reserved for 7 people. The table would have been enough for a maximum of 5 people. Both the choice of food and the quality have decreased significantly compared to the Kreuels restaurant. What is pleasing is that the service staff is trying to make the best of the situation. 7 guests will watch the development with interest (from the outside).
