We received a very friendly welcome and were shown our table. Today there was buffet food in the Klapperturm. As a starter there was a very tasty asparagus cream soup with lots of asparagus. The buffet was very good with local game and schnitzel and roasts. The side dishes were very harmonious and the red cabbage was simply top class. For dessert there was delicious ice cream with cream and fresh strawberries 🍓 For me it's five stars plus 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 + the price-performance ratio is uniquely good 👍

Nach tatsächlich unverständlich vielen Jahren Pause ohne Besuch in der SV zog es uns als Hannoveraner - passend zum Heimspiel gegen Köln - danach auf ein paar Kölsch und sehr gutes Essen endlich wieder dort hinein. Der 8er Kranz Kölsch kalt, lecker und frisch. Das Essen wurde trotz Fülle im Restaurant recht zeitig serviert. Der Service insgesamt sehr flink, tatsächlich dauerte das Bezahlen bzw. der Erhalt der Rechnung am längsten. Das Schnitzel Schweizer Art mit Bratkartoffeln war sehr gut. Sogar der Beilagensalat kein Alibi, sondern frisch und vielfältig. Der Klassiker Currywurst ohne Tadel. Und selbst das “Experiment” (Sepia Tagliarini mit Lachs) wurde sehr gelobt. Unbedingt (wieder) hingehen. Sehr zu empfehlen! (Photos haben wir keine gemacht).

Highly recommended, the food was super tasty no matter what you ordered, we've always tried a few things. The schnitzels are the highlight and the friendly service, keep it up.

You are asked to leave if you just want to drink something. Very unfriendly staff. This juice shop isn't even worth one star!

Not possible to park by car. As a disabled person you can forget that!!!

Didn't make a reservation but lucked out and sat at the bar and ate. Matje's housewife style was very tasty, beer too.

Feel free to come over. Food is very tasty. The staff is nice and attentive. A circular route through the beautiful little zoo is also worthwhile. I can't say anything about the rooms. Therefore, I will not give this a rating.

Well, I didn't like it like the rest of the family. But everyone should make their own decision and try it. My wife felt uncomfortable going to the bathroom because all the waiters were staring at her.

Cozy restaurant with very friendly service. I chose mussels and was not disappointed in the taste or quantity. Very original idea, the mussels were served in a small blue metal bucket, and a small red bucket was used for the empty shells.

Didn't stay there overnight. All in all, great ambience and delicious food.

Service was ok. But a rump steak as flat as a Viennese schnitzel. I've never had anything like this come under the knife. And the prices are astronomical. ADDENDUM: I was there on March 2, 2020. It was still open at that time. And I don't understand why people comment so rudely on a criticism of the bad food instead of using it as an opportunity to improve the offering. The fact remains: I have never had such a flat rump steak on my plate.

We wanted to eat there after swimming. Everything was empty and they couldn't offer us a table for 9 people, children apparently weren't welcome because the children should have stayed seated. Unfriendly to that. Apparently they don't want to make any money. Very unfortunate

Unfortunately we cannot confirm the good reviews. It is often closed here, which is only visible on the homepage. It was generally open for the city festival. We had schnitzel with fried potatoes (€3 extra) and cheese spaetzle. Large plates with salad on them. Unfortunately fried potatoes without onions and without bacon, I expected more for the extra charge for the fries. Simply put two slices of cheese on it, warm it in the microwave and sprinkle on a few store-bought fried onions. There was only one type of beer, unlike on the menu, where several types were offered. The inside of the restaurant is very nicely decorated
