We were there with our team and had a great time. I ordered the salmon burger with fries and it was simply delicious! The salmon was perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavor. The fries were crispy and delicious – just right! The ambience and service were also great, very friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. I can only recommend this restaurant and would love to come back!

Great location, with a lot of history in the restaurant! Lots of pictures of politicians and German history, both West and East! 😄 The menu has decent dishes that everyone can find! You really should try the giant currywurst. 😎 Service is quick, attentive and super nice! We'll definitely come back!

There is vegan food there and a very tasty tomato soup without cream. Since I celebrate politics history, it is an inspiring place for me. There are also photos of my companion's ex.

Stasi platter (schnitzel) ordered 4 times arrived in 15 minutes, schnitzel was very flat and dripping with fat, and the schnitzel didn't taste like anything at all. Sambal sauce wasn't sambal sauce, way too sweet. Fried potatoes were good but you can't go wrong, fries were hard after they arrived. Tables are very small and with 4 people it's really tiring not to throw anything down.

Went there for the first time on Saturday evening and managed to get a spot at very short notice, 2 hours beforehand. Was very busy. I had the Stasi Schnitzel, apparently very large, which I found very positive. But unfortunately it was pounded so small that it was extremely thin, rather just a schnitzel on the plate but thicker. The sauce was tasty but unfortunately also very little. The waitress always took a long time to get to the table and was visibly stressed. But this was certainly due to the high level of activity in the restaurant. The entire presentation was very interesting and definitely something different.

Basically there are four stars, but you have to make compromises when it comes to food. The schnitzel wasn't really good, it even tasted a bit old and otherwise the fried potatoes were a little too greasy. We won't eat there a second time.

We ate and drank here in the evening. The food and drinks were delicious. Personally, I was missing a bit of the icing on the cake, i.e. a straw or lemon slice in the cola, salad or herb decoration on the schnitzel. Still very solid. The restaurant is easy to reach, right on the Aegi. Unfortunately, this is accompanied by the noise and smell of the street.

Nowhere else in Hanover can you experience the history of the Federal Republic of Germany as much as here in the StäV Hannover. But you don't just see testimonies and pictures of past political greats on the walls, you are also in a place where Kölsch is served. And that is precisely what gives me great joy personally. This year I even came to the carnival. And it was great. That's why I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

The BBQ burger was ok, but no reason to come back. The fries were very tasty. Unfortunately, ketchup and mayo only come in pre-packaged sachets.

Wir hatten extra nachgesehen, das Lokal sollte bis 23:30 Uhr geöffnet sein... wir saßen im Außenbereich. Mit uns noch zahlreiche andere Gäste...ab 21:00 Uhr wurde um uns herum zusammen geräumt. Stühle hoch, Gläser weg...sehr ungemütlich! Das Personal wirkte lustlos und unser Essen war sehr lieb-und geschmacklos. Nicht zu empfehlen!

The food was ok, unfortunately the waitresses weren't particularly attentive. The portions were adequate for the price but unfortunately the taste wasn't the highlight.

Haben uns in den Biergarten gesetzt, die Bedienung nahm wohl Notiz von uns...ignorierte uns jedoch. ( Es war ein Gast anwesend) Lieber unterhielt sie sich mit diesem Gast, ganz angeregt über Urlaube in Ägypten & der Türkei...Wir sind dann nach ca 5 Min gegangen, ohne Verzehr! Für mich nicht empfehlenswert!

I was there with friends in the evening. The food was good and tasted good. We had something to drink before dinner and 2 people (me and a friend) had already finished the drink when we ordered food and then ordered a new one right after dinner. The friend got his drink relatively quickly and I haven't yet. When the food came, I pointed out and asked that I had also ordered a drink that hadn't arrived yet. Then we ate and after we had finished eating I asked again while clearing up, whereupon I got the answer: “Don't you see what the boys are doing” with a view of the counter and relatively unfriendly (the drink order was there about 40 minutes ago) Of course I assumed that the order would arrive at some point. But even after we ordered and ate dessert, the drink didn't come. But I didn't ask again because the counter was busy. So I spent a total of 2.5 hours in the restaurant and had a drink at the beginning. I would have liked to drink more, but the unfriendly comment from the waitress stopped me from asking again. I completely understand if something is forgotten or there is a lot going on, but I find it an exceptionally poor performance to react unfriendly to a friendly request and then not receive the drink after asking twice.

Friendly and helpful staff. You don't necessarily have to book a spot in advance during the day, but you should in the evening. Good menu with a large selection of different food and drinks. The portions are good and the food is really tasty. The currywurst with fries (Kanzler platter) is particularly popular. The prices are OK. The ambience is good. You can also sit outside. Unfortunately, when the restaurant is busy, it is also extremely loud. We like to come back again and again, even with friends. The parking situation is very difficult. There is paid street parking.

A nostalgic excursion to a time when there were still two German countries. Lots of old pictures on the wall that bring back memories. There is Kölsch to drink, the food consists mainly of currywurst, which is intentional, but you can also get other Cologne delicacies here. Very busy, so reservations are definitely necessary for larger groups.

We were very impressed with a very great location with over 40 years of history of the Federal Republic of Germany and the GDR on the walls. Service was really top and well structured. Price performance was also top, highly recommended.

A very original restaurant with good food and good beer (especially Kölsch served in the traditional style). The focus is on food and drinks from the Rhineland. It was decorated with very nice photos from the old Bonn Federal Republic. Unfortunately there are terrible acoustics here due to the large glass panels reflecting everything and when it's full you have to shout at each other. Fortunately, there is no music added. The waitress is sometimes more and sometimes less motivated to exchange the empty small (0.2 l) Kölsch glasses for full ones.

The group wandered around looking for a place to eat on the way to the new city hall and accidentally met him. The food was delicious, the staff were super friendly, the restaurant, decor and ambiance were amazing The menu was not easy to choose for me but in the end I decided to choose “Bundestag filet XXXL Currywurst”. Every curry lover's dream 😍 The service was also quick and took orders, drinks and food arrived in a very reasonable time as it was very busy there.

The price performance ratio is very good! There is always a lot to look at, the furnishings with lots of old photos seem slightly antiquated, but they are part of the concept.

So I would prefer not to give a star at all. My partner and I sit for more than 20 minutes at a table that has not been cleared and cleaned. When we attempted to make eye contact we were ignored and not served. And we were right in line of sight. The operation prefers to rely on the cell phone. MEGA NO GO!!!

The Permanent Representation has the best currywurst in the city, also referred to here as the 'Ex-Chancellor fillet' because Gerhard Schröder, former Chancellor and Hanoverian, likes to eat the currywurst here. There is good German cuisine with a Cologne influence here. I was told that the carnival celebrations here should be a lot of fun. A small drawback are the wobbly tables and chairs in the beer garden at the front towards Aegi and the service is slightly overwhelmed at peak times. We would then often have a salad forgotten or the mayo on the fries was missing. But for us these are small things and my family and I enjoy eating there.

Die so gelobte Kanzlerplatte(Currywurst mit Pommes) ist die schlechteste, welche ich je gegessen habe. Die Wurst ist fade und die Soße wässrig und geschmacklos 🤷‍♂️ das haben alle am Tisch gesagt und im Nachhinein auch alle mit denen ich darüber gesprochen habe. Wenn die Küche etwas auf sich hält, dann sollten sie das mal ändern.

I had a schnitzel with fries, nothing to complain about in terms of taste, unfortunately the portion was just enough, as a woman who rarely finishes her plate, there wasn't a crumb left on mine. No side salad or anything similar and that for €20

Deftige Küche.Freundliches Personal. An den Portionen scheint sich etwas geändert zu haben. Satt wird man davon allemal. Wir waren im Anschluss des Marathons hier und waren absolut zufrieden mit dem Gesamtpaket.

If you like Kölsch, this is the right place 😊, but the wine also tastes good. Food is solid and good 👍. When it's completely full, it's definitely very loud. We had a lovely evening here.

As a Rhinelander, it is a must to stop at the Permanent Representation for a Kölsch after a theater performance at Aegi. Prices are completely ok and the food is delicious.

Typical Hanoverian beer restaurant, an absolute must-try. The environment is welcoming and furnished with excellent taste and imagination, reflecting the local tradition. The dishes are typical and excellent, the staff friendly and attentive to customers.

Personally, I didn't think the food was that great; some of it could have been prepared more lovingly. Certainly court dependent. There was a wrong order instead of fries, there were fried potatoes, but the misunderstanding was quickly remedied so that you simply got an extra bowl of fries, so you could have eaten the fried potatoes if you liked them. I didn't think it was that great that ketchup and mayo were in small plastic bags on the table, so I preferred to bring them in a small bowl with the fries or else ketchup and mayo in medium-sized tubes on the table in pre-made stands so that you can always have it can be put back and it doesn't look overcrowded on the table. Atmosphere Well, it was very full and also very loud, which actually speaks for the store, at least in terms of being slightly overcrowded.

Friendly (but somewhat understaffed) service, especially after a football game. The salad was ok, although quite expensive for 17.90.

Unfortunately I have to say that the food tasted really strange (schnitzel, fries, some hollandaise based sauce) To put it another way... I think the sauce was spilled. In the end, I spent 12 difficult hours at home on my toilet. It was really bad. So unfortunately I can't recommend Easen. The fries were also really bad (lightly soggy) and my companion had a currywurst. All portions were very large but unfortunately not tasty. Therefore the tip: please do better quality and less quantity

A very atmospheric place in Hannover. However, if you want silence, it is not here. Babylon, an interweaving of languages, sounds, scents... For connoisseurs of unique beer and for beer, a friendly, fun, boisterous party.

Too few staff for far too many guests. The tables are so close together that drinks and food sometimes had to be calculated. The background noise is enormous. We had to wait 55 minutes for the drinks. The meal went relatively quickly. It was impressive how friendly and attentive the service remained

We used to be here very often and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, there are no ribs anymore and the Caesar salad is actually just a salad with turkey and parmesan (no pine nuts, no croutons, no Caesar dressing). The food is otherwise okay, but it's all ready-made, nothing fresh. It's okay for a currywurst, but unfortunately nothing more.

It was tasty but the large schnitzel could have been more, it was large but thin.

Unfortunately I wasn't happy with my tarte flambée. The other 3 people enjoyed it quite well. The only thing I didn't like was that the currywurst comes with ketchup as a sauce. The service was nice and on point.
