We received a very friendly welcome and were shown our table. Today there was buffet food in the Klapperturm. As a starter there was a very tasty asparagus cream soup with lots of asparagus. The buffet was very good with local game and schnitzel and roasts. The side dishes were very harmonious and the red cabbage was simply top class. For dessert there was delicious ice cream with cream and fresh strawberries 🍓 For me it's five stars plus 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 + the price-performance ratio is uniquely good 👍

Haben hier zwischendurch nur Getränke verkonsumiert. Die angebotenen Speisen welche wir an den Tischen sehen konnten waren üppig und typisch bayrisch. Das Personal war sehr flink und umsichtig, auch wenn wir nur Getränke bestellt haben.

There were four of us and so we had different dishes. All were very tasty. Here you get solid German home cooking (not meant in a derogatory way) in a nice atmosphere. The service was also friendly and quick. We will definitely come back.

Didn't make a reservation but lucked out and sat at the bar and ate. Matje's housewife style was very tasty, beer too.

You are asked to leave if you just want to drink something. Very unfriendly staff. This juice shop isn't even worth one star!

Arriving there late afternoon yesterday to have something to drink and eat didn't work out. There was no service at our table so we left after 20 minutes. If this had to do with a celebration, you are welcome to communicate that. Thank you for nothing

The distillery is a well-run pub and restaurant. Unfortunately it's a bit noisy, which doesn't benefit my hearing aids. Otherwise nothing to complain about!

Nice location with good cuisine and a beautiful, partly shaded beer garden.

Service was ok. But a rump steak as flat as a Viennese schnitzel. I've never had anything like this come under the knife. And the prices are astronomical. ADDENDUM: I was there on March 2, 2020. It was still open at that time. And I don't understand why people comment so rudely on a criticism of the bad food instead of using it as an opportunity to improve the offering. The fact remains: I have never had such a flat rump steak on my plate.

The Stadtbad Restaurant was the second stop on the culinary city tour. There were 15 of us and the drinks and food were served quickly. There was also an immediate reaction when turkey medallions were announced and two vegetarians came forward. Instead there was a fried egg on the mashed potatoes. Mr. Hölzel told us a lot about the creation of the swimming pool and of course introduced the new serving robots, named after his grandchildren. The food was excellent.

Unfortunately we cannot confirm the good reviews. It is often closed here, which is only visible on the homepage. It was generally open for the city festival. We had schnitzel with fried potatoes (€3 extra) and cheese spaetzle. Large plates with salad on them. Unfortunately fried potatoes without onions and without bacon, I expected more for the extra charge for the fries. Simply put two slices of cheese on it, warm it in the microwave and sprinkle on a few store-bought fried onions. There was only one type of beer, unlike on the menu, where several types were offered.
