We received a very friendly welcome and were shown our table. Today there was buffet food in the Klapperturm. As a starter there was a very tasty asparagus cream soup with lots of asparagus. The buffet was very good with local game and schnitzel and roasts. The side dishes were very harmonious and the red cabbage was simply top class. For dessert there was delicious ice cream with cream and fresh strawberries 🍓 For me it's five stars plus 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 + the price-performance ratio is uniquely good 👍

Not recommended. Service was unfriendly and served other guests who came later.

Since the change of ownership... how should you put it, the menu has changed a lot... partly for the negative and of course for the positive

Didn't make a reservation but lucked out and sat at the bar and ate. Matje's housewife style was very tasty, beer too.

You are asked to leave if you just want to drink something. Very unfriendly staff. This juice shop isn't even worth one star!

Not possible to park by car. As a disabled person you can forget that!!!

Went there for the cabbage tour. Food was really tasty and plentiful when it came, there were 2 tables and one of us had already had soup and we didn't get anything after we spoke to the staff several times. Nobody felt responsible for us. Many students probably had no overview, unfortunately. Otherwise it was good. Accordingly, the blessings came slowly.

Enjoyed the delicious rib buffet yesterday. Really very tasty. There were four of us and one of our group, my husband, only ordered an appetizer. Baked goat cheese with salad. The plate was 50% salad with not enough dressing. Next to it was a 5 mark, flamed goat cheese thaler. We all looked stupid. Even the friendly waitress seemed embarrassed. The price/performance ratio was really questionable. Otherwise we were always very satisfied in the location. I hope the post makes you think.

Didn't stay there overnight. All in all, great ambience and delicious food.

Service was ok. But a rump steak as flat as a Viennese schnitzel. I've never had anything like this come under the knife. And the prices are astronomical. ADDENDUM: I was there on March 2, 2020. It was still open at that time. And I don't understand why people comment so rudely on a criticism of the bad food instead of using it as an opportunity to improve the offering. The fact remains: I have never had such a flat rump steak on my plate.

We arrived at 3:30 p.m. after swimming. Almost all the tables were free, and we would have liked to have had a view of the pool. The waitress's quick reply: "Everything here is reserved." We sat near the entrance. There was no change in occupancy until 4:20 p.m.... Then the food was delivered by a robot. It didn't come to the table, but stood 2 meters away. At the end, we wanted an ice cream. There were two waitresses behind the ice cream counter. But we were told to sit down again and order at the table... but then no one came. We left without dessert. Summary: Good food, OK atmosphere, (if you're allowed to look into the pool) really bad service today. (They were more concerned with themselves.)

Unfortunately we cannot confirm the good reviews. It is often closed here, which is only visible on the homepage. It was generally open for the city festival. We had schnitzel with fried potatoes (€3 extra) and cheese spaetzle. Large plates with salad on them. Unfortunately fried potatoes without onions and without bacon, I expected more for the extra charge for the fries. Simply put two slices of cheese on it, warm it in the microwave and sprinkle on a few store-bought fried onions. There was only one type of beer, unlike on the menu, where several types were offered.
