After my great aunt's funeral, the families and helpers were invited to the memorial dinner at the "Schnitzelbräu" in Rastatt 🙏 The “Schnitzelbräu” is still familiar to me from earlier times as “Braustübel”. I haven't been there since. Even back then you could eat well and in abundance there. So now you can still find a cozy atmosphere with hearty delicacies and classic beer culture. In addition to typical Baden specialties, there are also seasonal dishes and a varied recommendation menu. The fresh products come from the region and have short transport routes. Exactly my thing! 🍀 The pre-ordered food was sumptuous & very tasty, the two servers were very friendly, considerate & quick. I asked to see the menu; We occasionally go here privately 🤩

Waited more than 1 hour for the food! Food was lukewarm, no cutlery. Too bad, the food tasted good! There were simply too few staff, perhaps time for the owner to rethink. People who come in order drinks at the bar, ask if they also want to eat, give drinks on a tray, with food menu and cutlery, when ordering food, give a kind of timer that indicates that you can pick up the food. This concept works well, already seen on many outdoor terraces. Good luck for the future❣️

Such organizational chaos and failure. We made a reservation, confirmed it by phone an hour in advance and then there was nothing on site and we stood there as a group and were allowed to leave again. The operator's reactions were very condescending and I found them arrogant. I would HIGHLY consider making a reservation or hosting an event here.

We were here for the first time on our "New Year's Tavern Tour". After "Paulaner" in Munich and "Augustiner" on Lake Wörth, this visit was the ideal addition to the tour in local areas. The duck is even crispier than in Bavaria 👍 And the cellar beer 😁 was super delicious. The whole thing in a great atmosphere with super friendly service. This is how the year starts well.😊👍 We'll be back!!!
