Waited more than 1 hour for the food! Food was lukewarm, no cutlery. Too bad, the food tasted good! There were simply too few staff, perhaps time for the owner to rethink. People who come in order drinks at the bar, ask if they also want to eat, give drinks on a tray, with food menu and cutlery, when ordering food, give a kind of timer that indicates that you can pick up the food. This concept works well, already seen on many outdoor terraces. Good luck for the future❣️

Our visit is not recommended. We had dinner with friends at Schützen on March 22, 2025 and were looking forward to good German-bourgeois cuisine. Unfortunately, the food was dripping with fat, the frozen schnitzel patties and the pork medallions were sour and bad. We complained about the pork medallions and then got the dish replaced. Unfortunately, this time the meat was not baked until tender and rosy, but rather bloody. Unfortunately, the schnapps that was brought to the house as an excuse for the “bad food” took things even further. Jägermeister with crumbs and no herbal taste. It's a shame ☹️

We spent three days in Rastatt and dined there all three evenings. Sitting on the terrace watching the sunset, receiving friendly service, and enjoying excellent food and drinks. You can't get more for your money. Excellent value for money. Thank you very much!
