Schnitzel Bräu Rastatt in Rastatt

We had a reservation. Two people. We ended up at a low table with two folding chairs. Inside. Not in the beer garden. It wasn't very inviting.

We ate here with the team today. The food was absolutely delicious. I had a pumpkin cream soup followed by the rump steak; the Bräu schnitzel was also fantastic! I'll definitely be back.

Very expensive, I only looked at the menu in the building entrance.

We had lunch at Schnitzelbräu. The staff is very friendly and gives a warm welcome. The drinks arrived quickly, as did our order. Unfortunately, we had to wait almost an hour for our food. The pork medallions were excellent, the sauce average, and the spaetzle homemade (albeit very thick, but still tasty). The fried potatoes were very dark with burnt onions. The schnitzel was very disappointing; we had expected more from Schnitzelbräu. The meat was tough and chewy, which was a shame. The side salad was very tasty and fresh, and the dressing was superb.

Everything was fantastic! The service was attentive and even humorous, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was truly excellent. For me/us, the value for money was absolutely perfect. The owner even came to our table herself and chatted briefly with my 84-year-old father, who owned the restaurant (then called Braustübl) from 1981 to 1988. We'll definitely be back. 🙃🙂

Dogs are welcome and are given water immediately. The service is very attentive. The food is very good.

A lovely restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and superb food! In this old brewery, you sit by walls adorned with frescoes and under a lovingly painted and decorated ceiling, enjoying generous portions from the diverse menu. The vegetarian cauliflower schnitzel with croquettes and hollandaise sauce was divine! The service was consistently prompt, friendly, and competent. An experience I'd gladly repeat.

Nice brewery atmosphere and good draft export beer. We didn't try anything else, but we'd gladly do so next time.

Highly recommended if you are ever in Rastatt, it tasted great.

The service was a bit chaotic but my salad with Swabian ravioli was excellent!

We visited Schnitzelbräu Rastatt and had the Bräu Cordon Bleu, the Cordon Bleu, the Schnitzel XXL, and a regular schnitzel. We were very, very satisfied – everything was delicious, the portions were huge, and the food was fresh and perfectly prepared. The staff are very attentive and incredibly friendly – ​​you feel really at home. Highly recommended! 🍽️👏 (see picture)

Unfortunately, the ambiance, due to the fact that it's very centrally located on the sidewalk, was a bit distracting from the other people at times. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the knife was very blunt, making it difficult to cut the schnitzel. Otherwise, I have to say I was very satisfied. I would go again.

We started out sitting outside and unfortunately had to come inside due to the weather. It was very pleasant outside, but a bit noisy inside.

Personally, I found the double schnitzel simply too small for the high price. I chose croquettes to accompany the mini schnitzels – five potato balls... No decorations on the plate – a leaf of lettuce, a tomato, or anything similar. Which is to say, it was unloving.

We ordered the **XXL Schnitzel with salad and yogurt dressing** 🥗🍗, and it was absolutely delicious! Generous portions, great quality, and very fair prices 💶👌. A lovely evening outdoors, with excellent food featuring Southern German specialties (the Maultaschen with salad was perfect). Professional service, everything was perfect!

Well...the cordon bleu was very good...but the vegetables, unfortunately, weren't. Broccoli was old and generally poorly presented.

You can enjoy very good schnitzels, either traditional or breaded with pretzels, both are very successful with a well-prepared little sauce. On the other hand, the side dishes leave something to be desired, the fries are really ordinary, the dumplings are nothing special and the croquettes are simple frozen dauphinoise potatoes. The room is very beautiful but the atmosphere is a bit cold, the service is decent.

Delicious food, even smaller portions, which is great if you're not a big eater. On the downside, you have to ask for it. It's not on the menu. Super nice and friendly service.

Very good schnitzel and a large portion! The schnitzel was truly delicious – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The portion was more than generous, so no one would go home hungry. The service was friendly and attentive, and we felt completely at home. The value for money is also absolutely excellent. A definite recommendation; we'll be back!

It was unfortunately very disappointing for us, five people. We were here on May 17, 2025, based on a recommendation. While the restaurant was apparently very busy inside, we received less attention in the garden. (I recommend a camera, like others have.) After we made ourselves known inside after 13 minutes, a server came another five minutes later, brought menus, and took our drink orders. We (unfortunately) had to send back the first meal because it wasn't what we ordered, and the server confirmed it again by passing it on to the kitchen. The order arrived next, but the portion was reduced by half. We had planned to stay seated after the meal. But since no one came to take any more drink orders, we went inside and paid. I took the liberty of deducting two stars because the entire evening was disappointing, even though we pointed it out to the server and it was mentioned again when we paid.

Good value for money. Bright, friendly, and clean. I'd be happy to come back. Attentive staff.

Delicious schnitzel! We regularly drive to Italy and stay overnight in Rastatt. This is our favorite spot for a delicious schnitzel! Highly recommended.

Nicely located in the city center with an outdoor beer garden, where you can also sit and eat. Service was very attentive and fast. There's a wide selection of schnitzels, including steaks and a few vegan alternatives. The pasta with vegetables was delicious and the portions were very generous. The same goes for the schnitzel dish.

Great selection, very tasty - especially the spaetzle and the cordon bleu.

Stopped for a quick lunch break. I found a very kind bartender who let me try the Franz Export before ordering. I just had a quick snack with salads and pickled olives. Good oil but perhaps a lot, and raw onions. At this point I suggest to use pickled to reduce their strength. Good bread on the side. There was nevertheless some dressing in the salad although I asked for none. It can be a good location for a heartier more rustical meal but unfortunately I didn't go for this.

We are on our way and accidentally ended up here before dinner. Well that wasn't a punishment. Delicious food, schnitzel with white asparagus. Highly recommended. Asparagus was still crunchy, sooo delicious! And the Weisser Burgunder wine is also recommended!

Besonders erwähnenswert ist die kompetente, nette Bedienung. Hier fühlt sich der Gast erwünscht. Die Mitarbeiterinnen haben Freude an der Arbeit.

Nice place to eat. We entered at 20.00. we got really nice schnitzels, and the kids got nice chicken nuggets with pommes from the children's menu. The serving was fine (the one who took orders, was smiling and sweet, but the one who came with the food, looked more like she didn't want to be there) - the kitchen closes at 9, so we could not order desserts, because we were done with our main dish a little after 9, but they were sweet enough to make a couple of ice cream desserts for the kids. We ordered coffee for the adults but felt a bit unwanted, especially when's they started to put chairs up on the other tables around us about an hour before closing.

Very good food and excellent service. The burger was delicious. They also have a very nice decoration.
