Very nice staff and delicious food.

Very nice inn with a down-to-earth menu, seasonally adapted. We had the market dumpling soup as a starter, the bread dumplings in mushroom cream sauce, the lamb's lettuce, the turkey schnitzel with croquettes and hand-scraped spaetzle. The food was great, definitely handmade, the service was friendly, all extra requests were fulfilled. The prices are fair and justified. The sanitary facilities have been newly renovated and spotlessly clean. Anita placed and had everything under control. If we come to Raststatt again we will definitely eat here again… if there is a table available.

Outside it is advertised as having a lunch menu for 15 euros. After that, it turns out that it only applies from Wednesday to Friday. According to the staff, it is also noted on the sign, but this is not true. There was no accommodation either. Not even sorry.

Delicious schnitzel variants, steaks and salads. A big compliment to the girls from the service. This kind of attention is what you want in some upscale restaurants. Thanks for that.

Here is a review in German about the restaurant: --- We went to this restaurant to have a drink and a salad. The food was okay – nothing special, but not bad either. Unfortunately, our experience was severely marred by the poor service. Both waitresses who served us were extremely rude, almost rude. It seemed like they had little interest in serving us in a friendly or attentive manner. For this reason, we unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant, even if the food was okay. Service is an important part of the experience for us, and it left a lot to be desired.

A beautifully decorated restaurant, see the special round tiled stove in the photo. We had dinner here. The friendly hospitality in great. Good price/quality ratio. Now two years later we were here again. This time no asparagus but Wiener Schnitzel. Again excellent with attentive service.

Had reserved a table outside as the weather was great, Service nice and quick. The food was very tasty, at first we were given the wrong sauce for the schnitzel, but they immediately brought us the right sauce and left the other one there too, very nice. Price performance is great, it wasn't the last time there.

Great restaurant for a schnitzel

The restaurant is centrally located in the pedestrian zone. There are different schnitzel variations but also steaks to choose from. My food tip: 'Bräu Cordon Bleu' for 26.50 euros. The portion is slightly larger. The service is attentive and quick. A reservation is recommended. The outside area is nice, but for me personally it's too close to the pedestrian zone. You should also pay attention to the drain, as it spoils the taste experience.

The food tastes really good. However, the normal schnitzel with side dish and sauce is expensive at 18.90 euros. The restaurant generally has hefty prices. The normal breaded schnitzel consists of (2 pieces of smoked pork loin with fries or croquettes and gravy). I ordered a senior plate with a side salad and 0.5 liters of still water. The senior plate consisted of 1 piece of schnitzel with 5 small round croquettes for 17.90 euros. I thought the price was steep. Paid a total of 30 euros with a tip.

Very good food and very friendly service. We were there on Thursday August 15, 2024 shortly before our departure and ate schnitzel spaetzle and bread dumplings. Everything was really delicious. The food and drinks came very quickly and we were served by two very friendly ladies. Price performance is definitely right and the food was tasty and sufficient. And☝️! The schnitzel was served with 2 lemons that were cut properly so that you can express it sensibly 😄 Unfortunately I have to mention it because it is rarely the case. What more could you want as a guest😋 Very nice restaurant with very clean toilets. Clearly recommended if you want to eat delicious food. 👍

Das Ambiente in diesem Lokal ist sehr gemütlich. Im Außenbereich sitzt man ebenfalls sehr schön und durch die dort aufgebaute Cocktailbar und die leise Musik im Hintergrund fühlt man sich wie im Urlaub. Das Essen ist sehr, sehr gut und der Service einwandfrei. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal.

Die etwas andere, weil besondere regionale deutsche Küche. Die Portionen sind allerdings nichts für den kleinen Hunger. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wetterbedingt konnte die Außenbestuhlung nicht genutzt werden.

Food was fine! Unfortunately something went wrong with the service, which can happen! What was not right in our opinion was that when we asked a young lady who was responsible for delivery and clearing away, she was told that something had probably gone wrong! As I said, it can happen, but you should at least inform the guests! When we paid, there were still things in the system that we didn't have. Unfortunately there was no insight that the customer was not satisfied, let alone any reaction to apologize for the situation. This will probably be our last visit to the Schnitzelbräu!

Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht gut. Hab schon bessere Schnitzel wesentlich günstiger gegessen. Für mich als Soßenfan, unbefriedigend, dieser grössere Fingerhut voll bietet Genuss für max eins der beiden Schnitzel. Die Panade fiel ab, panieren ist wohl auch keine Hauptkompetenz des Kochs. Für den halben Liter Wasser 5€ ist maßlos übertrieben. Die Knödel, Pfanni aus dem Beutel? Freundlich war die Bedienung. Da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Bin unbefriedigt gegangen und werde nicht wieder kehren, lohnt nicht.

Reservation made in advance with dog. Water for the dog was brought straight away. If we sat inside it would always be full and the noise level would be correspondingly high. Food came quickly, large portions and very tasty. Absolutely can't complain. Homemade creme brulee was delicious, although a little sweet. Home cooking.

Great restaurant, we were there for the first time on Easter Monday, the service & ambience were great & especially the schnitzel, the best in the area. We as young guests were very convinced of this.

Spontaneously made a reservation online on (Good) Friday for Saturday (this possibility alone deserves praise) and had a wonderful dinner. The Cordon Bleu is super tasty with the gravy. The selection of local beer specialties is large. Very friendly service 👍🏼 If I visit my hometown again, I'll be happy to come back here 😉

I wish I could walk straight into the Hatz area, but unfortunately the passage is closed! Just why?

I celebrated my birthday with some of my family and friends. We can recommend it with a clear conscience.

My wife and I have a hot one outside Ate bockwurst, it tasted delicious.

Everything really wonderful. We come here to eat often. Steaks are cooked to perfection. The service is simply perfect. Ambience is very nice. We can only recommend the Schnitzelbräu

Had booked on line- restaurant preference is bookings to be made by phone. Lovely atmosphere and busy no doubt due to excellent Franz Bier brewed in the adjoining brewery. Old fashioned ambience with friendly service. The food was excellent and there were plenty of gluten-free options available. The low carb turkey steak was moist and the vegetables fresh. The Brauschnitzel was tasty with a delicious beer sauce- you really notice the difference that the breadcrumbs are made of pretzels. Good value and will definitely return. 5 minutes walk from the excellent Ibis Styles.

The ambience is typical beer pub. Kind of quaint. The schnitzels were pretty good. Likewise the starter salad and the starter soup. However, we had to compromise on the dumplings. Were a bit "firm". Likewise the crème brulee for dessert. The service was friendly and took good care of us. However, it wasn't busy either. All in all, the restaurant is a recommendation! 3.5 stars. We will go there again and then try something else.

Wir durften an Weihnachten dort zu Gast sein, bei rappelvoller Hütte hatten wir einen vorzüglichen, leichtfüßigen Service bei bester gutbürgerlicher Küche. Sehr gerne wieder.

Alles in allem ein Top Restaurant, waren spontan am Donnerstag Abend dort. Trotz vollem Restaurant waren die Getränke und das Essen sehr schnell serviert und sehr sehr lecker.

Sehr nette Bedienung, Ambiente nett,okay Durchgang ist hier und da bissel eng,trotzdem stehen die Tische ganz gut. Das Essen war sehr lecker 😋, das Wild sehr zart und weich,die selbst gemachten Klöße echt lecker. Schnitzel kein Hungertuch wo man ohne Parinade durch sieht. Auch 😋. Lohnt sich mal hin zugehen. Einzige Manko Parkplätze in der Nähe, es liegt halt in der Stadt bzw am Anfang oder Ende dieser, je nachdem von wo man kommt.Aber es lohnt sich.

Das Bräuschnitzel mit der Brezelpanade und den zwei Semmelknödel schmeckte wirklich gut! Die Portion hätte größer sein können, ich, obwohl ich kein großer Esser bin, wurde ganz knapp und nur mit Nachtisch gerade so satt. An dem Abend an dem ich dort war waren noch mindestens zwei "Weihnachtsfeiern" dort und dadurch das Restaurant sehr sehr voll. Die vier Bedienungen hatten die Lage trotzdem gut unter Kontrolle. Bis zu dem Zeitpunkt als "alle gleichzeitig" bezahlen wollten. Da es nur ein Gerät zur Kartenzahlung gibt war der Service hoffnungslos überfordert, und das ohne daß sie was dafür konnten. Wir warteten eine ganze Stunde darauf endlich bezahlen zu können. Meines Erachtens hätte das Restaurant nicht so viele Gäste annehmen dürfen. Es war für die vorhandenen Mittel und Mitarbeiter einfach zu viel. Trotzdem ist diese Location weiterzuempfehlen!

Als Stadtfremde wurden wir durch das schöne Haus angelockt. Bei dem Namen dachten wir an eine Schnitzelbude und hatten geringe Essenserwartungen. Welch ein Irrtum. Die Speisekarte innen ist schon einmal viel länger als außen angezeigt. Der Service ist sehr nett und sehr effektiv. Das Essen schmeckte toll, alles erschien uns hausgemacht. Und die Räumlichkeiten sind klasse, von historischem Raum bis zu moderner Gestaltung.

Leckeres Essen freundliches Personal

Hier habe ich von unserem Essen mal keine Fotos gemacht (hatten zuviel Hunger und haben uns direkt auf unsere Schnitzel gestürzt 😅). Das Ambiente hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Bedienungen waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und das Essen war sehr lecker. 👌🏻 Wenn ich wieder mal in der Nähe bin, werde ich auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! 👍🏻
