Nice down-to-earth location
It's a shame that Google doesn't change the images and opening times and leaves the operators out in the cold
I like being there no matter whether it's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday
I was at the Bootshaus yesterday for a 60th birthday party. The room is nice and spacious, so you can set up plenty of tables for a group. There's also a large balcony overlooking the Ruhr. The food was delicious, and there was a huge selection. Because the Bootshaus is in a secluded location, you can turn up the music a bit. The service was excellent.
We stayed here once on our Saale Cycle Path tour.
The two hosts were very friendly and cooperative. We were allowed to bring our bikes into the house. The breakfast, not a buffet but prepared plates, was good; perhaps an orange juice would have been nice.
The room was very spartan and small. The shower/toilet area was also OK. We had rooms at the back. Rooms at the front, as the house is right next to a busy road, might be noisy.
The house is right on the Saale Cycle Path.
What wasn't OK was the price: €116 for a double room with breakfast is about €20-30 more than the usual prices for comparable accommodations in other locations.
We finally managed to enjoy our first visit to Leibniz56 with some dear friends. The food and drink selection is undoubtedly a restaurant that enhances Langenhagen. We'll be back at the beginning of April...
Perhaps we'll request a smaller portion, if possible. The very delicious cordon bleu with green asparagus was a bit too large for us, so we didn't have a chance for dessert.
Ate very tasty, definitely again at any time.
Afterwards, because we were so pleasantly surprised, we researched who was cooking like that.
We were happy to have found the chef again who had impressed us elsewhere a few years ago.
A small restaurant with very friendly service, the daily meal was very good. You should only make a seat reservation on weekends. On-site parking is possible but limited. We'll definitely be back, the motorcyclists from Augsburg
It closes at the end of March; It was only open on Mondays anyway. Since we used to enjoy eating there, we went there again last Monday. Farewell dinner, so to speak...
Yes. There were six of us. We called an hour in advance because we were nearby, and from the very first minute, we were treated with friendly and professional service. Good, old-school home cooking. I'm looking forward to our next visit, this time with family and camping gear for the long weekend.
