Lunch buffet relatively small for the price. The food is OK. The service was quick but rather forced friendly. It wasn't particularly crowded but still very hectic. It had something of a canteen or assembly line feel to it and absolutely no warmth. It's more like the guests are a nuisance. It's a shame, we won't be coming back.
High price when I was there few months ago, compare to the food being offered. Sorry, but I feel it is not worth it like before.
Have to de-list it on my go to restaurants list.
Unfortunately, I received the wrong order again. If we tried to reorder the correct order, the error would be blamed on us. Unfortunately I won't be ordering here again.
The prices on the website are from 5 years ago. You should update the data. The drink prices are also too high. I think drinks should be included in the price because, for example, you can just eat a watermelon.
Friendly service in a family atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food wasn't tasty and was lukewarm when served. The seating was slowly falling apart, and there was an unpleasant odor in the restroom. Unfortunately, that's unforgivable given the prices.
The quality of the food was good but it wasn't tasty because it was too cold. As soon as we entered the restaurant we saw that the buffet was too cold. So we ordered fresh food from the kitchen in the hope that it would be hot, which unfortunately wasn't the case. The waitress was very unfriendly and couldn't look at us. Better not to go there again.
The Jade is getting old and the three stars are for hard work, passion and perseverance. But on for the good quality grill buffet.
The good first:
++ the freshness and quality of the ingredients at the grill buffet is always good!
+ the finished dishes on the warm buffet are always good in terms of taste and craftsmanship.
+ the operators are very friendly
+ If you like the classic, kitsch Chinese decoration, you'll get your money's worth here.
+ the cleanliness is good in the dining room, at the buffet and at the tables.
Not really ok:
- the good quality buffet is quite clear.
- There are no sushi and it would be better to leave it out completely.
- Salad buffet has the charm of a hotel in the new federal states, shortly after reunification. Canned corn, dry wave-cut cucumbers and water tomatoes
- Desserts are, with the exception of the tiramisu, all of very, very simple quality.
- The hygiene on the ice cream scoops is borderline.
- The drinks in All u Can Dronk are simple and inadequate compared to the competition
- Unfortunately, the toilets are in serious need of renovation and should be considerably more "cleaned" if the guest room is halfway full
- the guest room is kitschy, dusty and cluttered
Prices at Jade are consistent with the region's abundant competition and are reasonable. However, elsewhere you get more (selection, especially of drinks and desserts, but not necessarily more taste and quality at the grill buffet) for your money.
You can definitely visit Jade and don't go wrong.
However, you shouldn't have any special requirements or expectations. Then it's fine.
If you are primarily interested in the grill buffet and the quality of its preparation and ingredients, you are in good hands here.
If you have a sensitive eye and expect a wide range of drinks, you'll find it better elsewhere.
Conclusion:
Average Asian buffet. You can do it.
