We were there on Sunday, and the Chinese buffet was very good in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the food was cold at first. The meat dishes were less good. The steak tasted strange, the wait was long, and the number system didn't work well; we received the wrong plates from other tables several times. The system with water bottles on the table works well. The prices are really low compared to Dutch restaurants.

Never again – lousy food and a real hassle with a parking ticket! I was there – the food was really not good. But the worst came after: I had to enter my license plate number at the entrance so that parking would be free. I did – but I still got a parking ticket for €38 later! Apparently, the employee didn't register the license plate number correctly, and now I'm stuck with the costs. I contacted the restaurant several times, but no response, no apology, nothing. Conclusion: Unfriendly service, bad food, and zero responsibility for their own mistakes. Absolutely not recommended!

Unfortunately, this is the second time my husband and I have had a bad experience at this restaurant. Last Christmas, we made a reservation for eight people, but the booking was only for six. We then tried to squeeze into the table, whereupon one of the ladies working there very rudely told us that that wouldn't work and that we were taking up space. The end result was that two of us were seated at another table, and the atmosphere was ruined. Furthermore, the lady in question very rudely pointed out to us that we weren't allowed to bring bottled drinks to the table. Which is fine, we didn't know any better. However, how you say something makes a big difference. Yesterday, my husband and I decided to give the restaurant another chance because we'd dismissed the Christmas incident as "Christmas stress," and yesterday it was a disaster, too. We left after 10 minutes because the food was cold. After my husband politely pointed this out at the checkout, they treated it as if it were a blatant lie. The whole thing was dismissed with, "That can't be right, the food was just made, which is €56." I find the whole behavior, both last year and yesterday, simply rude and disrespectful. Yesterday was our last visit.

Super tasty food, really enjoyed it

Very beautifully designed Asian restaurant, the staff are very friendly and helpful, there is a huge selection at the all-you-can-eat buffet so there is something for everyone.

We received a very friendly welcome. A vase was immediately provided for our bouquet. Plates were always cleared promptly. The food was excellent. Noodles, rice, and spring rolls were perfect. The sweet and sour sauce was fantastic, and the meat was always perfect. Everything was served at the perfect temperature, and some of the soup was even really hot. Drinks were plentiful and plentiful. Absolutely excellent value for money. We can't say anything negative, so it's full marks. Thank you very much!

Tasty and sufficient choice of food

A very extensive buffet. No wish goes unfulfilled. We were there on a Saturday, and they also offered the Mongolian grill. There are special offers for the buffet price, including soft drinks or alcohol. Highly recommended. A wide selection, very good quality. Don't forget to give your license plate number to the restaurant if you park in the parking deck. Parking is then free.

There are various all-you-can-eat options, including with or without alcohol.

The food is delicious, but it's also become expensive. The parking situation on the parking deck isn't customer-friendly. If you forget to sign the parking book and exceed the parking time, a separate company will issue you a hefty ticket. €38 🤮!!! And that's even though you made a reservation and are listed in the parking book. They don't even try to avoid paying the high fee. I won't go there anymore. There are plenty of dining options in Heinsberg.

We can't recommend it to anyone, but some people like it there and others don't.

It depends on when you go there to eat.

We were there for the lunch buffet, but they're simply not the target audience. There were a lot of seniors there, and the buffet was geared toward that clientele. Accordingly, the food was cheap and tasteless, just okay to fill you up. Unfortunately, there was no sushi at all. However, we did notice the soft-serve ice cream.

We just ate there, and I have to say, never again in my life. The last bit that tasted good wasn't even refilled. Simply disgusting.

Delicious buffet, we would love to come back

Not the all-you-can-eat kind we're used to in the Netherlands. The dishes are primarily Chinese-themed. The selection was smaller than usual. The food was otherwise excellent, and the staff were friendly. The price was good.

If you don't expect too much from an Asian restaurant, it's okay. I missed a few things I'm used to from Asian restaurants. The vegetables weren't as crisp and flavorful as I'm used to. The buffet selection was a bit overwhelming. Sometimes less is more. Overall, the impression is okay, but I wouldn't go there again. But, as I always say: My personal opinion and tastes differ. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but it's not that bad either. Everyone should decide for themselves.

Unfortunately little choice and hardly any hot food

The selection is very limited these days, especially at lunch – no duck, hardly any variety. The food was cold, and fresh dishes were simply thrown carelessly on top – directly onto the plate with the old food. Unfortunately, it gets worse every year. I won't be back.

Not good, food from buffet is lukewarm/cold and is not refilled. Food from the grill plate is very greasy and tastes the same. Meat is not fresh, looks like it has been frozen. Unfortunately, tried but not for repetition.

We always eat there at the buffet, which includes a drink package and the Mongolian grill. The food is delicious and there's a wide selection. The staff is extremely friendly. The atmosphere is very cozy. Even when it's full, you can have a good conversation without being disturbed by the background noise.

The best times are apparently over. I haven't been here for 3 years and I have to say that there is a clear difference between then and now. In the plastic cultivation that resembles a sauna on garden chairs with mass processing it is no fun. And certainly not if you have to get up 5 times because otherwise the waitress won't get through. Food is ok, but not as good as I was used to. Too bad. But I will go there again. Maybe they just had a bad day. Because it's always been good so far.

Great buffet selection but a bit slacked off I ate from the buffet at the China Garden Restaurant and was overall satisfied. The selection is large, there are many delicious dishes, even for vegetarians. The food was fresh and tasted good. However, I noticed that some dishes weren't quite hot anymore - that used to be better. The quality has deteriorated a bit, which is a shame. Nevertheless, the restaurant is always busy, which shows that it is popular with many guests. With small improvements, especially in keeping the food warm, the experience could be perfect again!

First of all, the food is not tasty, has little taste and the food is cold! Twice I received raw chicken, this was also indicated. Nothing is done with it. Once at the cash register we had to pay full price for the children 11 years old. And this while it says children up to 11 years 16 euros. Up to and including!! But then they say, we speak German here. And in German it says children under 11 years 16 euros. We were treated really scandalously, the staff was so unfriendly! We only got the beer replenished after 20 minutes. If you ask for a second beer, you can only ask for it when the first one is finished! This case should really be closed immediately! Don't go here as you will definitely get food poisoning.

Visited again after a long time and was shocked at how bad the food is now. Plate cold, chicken soup without meat. Buffet dry and hard, hardly any choice...sad. Noise like in a canteen. Food contains a lot of glutamate, very bad for diabetics. We won't visit again

First of all, the slightly older gentleman who works there is really friendly. Now for the more unpleasant things. We were there on Thursday and we were really very disappointed that we had to pay €26 in full in the evening. Most of the food was lukewarm or cold. The dishes such as gyoza, spring rolls, fries and baked bananas were hard and had been there for a long time and were not freshly refilled (sometimes you could see that old goods were simply fried again). This used to be a great restaurant but I will never spend €26 on it again. It's impossible.

Als zwei meiner Gäste dann jeweils noch ein Haar aus dem Essen zogen habe ich entnervt bezahlt und wir sind zum gegenüberliegenden McDonalds gegangen...

Saturday is a buffet at lunchtime. We can only recommend it. Food very tasty and lots of choice. Dessert and salad bar included. Drinks as much as you want. We always come back here. Highly recommended. 5 stars from us.

Staff is very friendly. We are always welcomed nicely. Food is tasty. I think the prices are fine. Free parking is available on site. What's also nice is that the restaurant is in a shopping center. You have clothing stores. A promotion and a store like Kruidvat. What I always like is that you can also go shopping after dinner. Definitely recommended if you like Asian food.

I was just there for dinner with my wife and a good friend. I ordered pasta with duck. After 10 minutes the food arrived, which surprised us. The first piece of duck immediately made me sick and I couldn't eat any more. For one thing, everything was totally cold and the duck was so inedible and dry. I had to spit it all out immediately otherwise I would have puked. When I told the waitress this, he said that he would talk to the boss and that I didn't have to pay for the food. An apology was just mumbled. But I still had to pay for the drink and there was no other small gesture of apology. The Fraas was absolutely disgusting and 100% not fresh but from hours before. Who knows what's going on in their kitchen, it's just disgusting. The entire staff was so rude to customers, etc. It's disgraceful to serve customers such disgusting rubbish. I'm reporting this to the health department because something like this borders on bodily harm. Conclusion: If you like Chinese food, you should look for a better place and avoid this restaurant. Antisocial and disgusting

Okay, we were there for dinner with four people... unfortunately three people had a problem afterwards... Some of the food was very over-seasoned and you shouldn't have fish or mussels prepared there... We definitely won't eat there again. Ambiance and service was good, but as I said not recommended Sorry Price performance doesn't fit

The atmosphere is great, like in China, the service is very nice, they don't chase you away, you can stay a little longer after the meal, even after paying, the waiters are nice, talkative, cheerful, great people, the food is a bit worse than 3 years ago but still very good, this place deserves 5 stars stars, I invite you to a nice evening ❤️‍🔥🫀🫶

Parking was well organized, they record your license plate so you can park longer. The food was sometimes cold, depending on whether they have just refilled it, if it has been there for a while it is a bit less, but it is tasty and there is a lot of choice. Unfortunately, our table had a "view" of the shopping center where the restaurant is located, which did not have a positive effect on the atmosphere.

Although there is a large selection, unfortunately everything tastes almost the same, just spicy and not even lukewarm. Food is very thick. The Mongolian grill was also very disappointing, on the one hand I didn't have what I had given on my plate, on the other hand the salmon was black and hard on one side... The staff is very nice and accommodating, unfortunately that doesn't outweigh the quality of the food. We would have happily invested €54 for 2 people elsewhere. Maybe we had a bad day, but unfortunately the impressions were such that we won't come back here again.

Excellent Chinese restaurant, the food is good, but when you collect food to cook, the cook may put aside the collected shrimp or salmon if you have collected a lot. But what’s stopping you from coming up a couple of times!? The cost is separate, 26 euros for lunch without drinks and 31 with drinks. I recommend visiting this restaurant and enjoying food in unlimited quantities, the main thing is not to overeat.

The buffet is well stocked and is replenished regularly. However, the days when you could eat cheaply here are over. For 3 people with a drink I was allowed to put around 80 EUR on the table of the house. I find that a bit steep. In this respect, compared to the pre-Corona era, we rarely go to the “China Garden”.
