Really catastrophic! The store was totally dirty and chaotic. The food didn't taste fresh at all and was really disgusting. The service? Unfriendly and slow. I'll definitely never go there again!

I've ordered there several times and it's been okay so far. Bad today. Duck was limp, full of fat and cartilage, tasted partly like liver...really disgusting. When I asked why the quality had deteriorated so much, it was explained to me "Ducks are like that now. There's nothing you can do. It's the supplier's fault." Since there were several "ducks" in the order, all of which were nothing, I can say: yes, ducks are apparently like that now. Okay, and if ducks are like that there from now on, I'll just stay away and would recommend it to anyone who wants to eat delicious Chinese crispy duck.

Unfortunately it was very loud and crowded. We took advantage of the buffet offer. But the food was rather mediocre. I won't go there anymore.

As always, a buffet that all guests enjoyed, short distances within the restaurant for pensioners and an elevator for arrival

The experience should not be described as poor but as infuriating. As soon as I entered the door, there was a stack of anti-China newspapers on the bar counter, which was the most obvious place. (Obviously they were deliberately placed neatly like a promotional brochure.) They were talking in Chinese and doing things about China. I don’t know the purpose of doing this even though my business is making money from Chinese people. I asked a woman who looked like the boss or a partner why she would put such a thing in such a conspicuous place, and I came to the conclusion. They had to collect these newspapers... and continued to ask what would happen if they didn't collect them and why they didn't collect them themselves but put them here openly. The woman kept laughing and was vague. Maybe they don't care at all, but it doesn't matter. I just did what a Chinese should do. Everyone can have different opinions and compare their feelings.

The food was ok, the selection could have been larger.

Super tasty and cheap. Ambiance could be improved, seems a bit cold.

We used to order there very often. Unfortunately the dishes no longer taste good. We were also served very rudely. Don't come back.

Very tasty and rich food. Our waitress was very courteous and cleared away the empty plates quickly and unobtrusively. All in all, I can fully recommend the China Star in Hahlen.

This is a complete disaster!!! Everything is dry and cold, nothing freshly made, just catastrophic Not recommended, especially not for the price!
