So I didn't eat any grill and the sushi was so-so. There was very little fruit at the end.

I was at the Asia Zushi Grill in Essen yesterday and I have to say, overall, it was an above-average experience. The food selection is truly impressive and above-average, with something for everyone. The sushi was solid, but not outstanding, but still tasty. I was pleasantly surprised by the good selection of drinks. A minor disappointment for me personally was the lack of hot chocolate and coffee. The price was just about right, but quite acceptable for what was offered. The clientele was typical for an all-you-can-eat restaurant, which isn't surprising. I'd especially like to mention the staff, who were mostly very friendly. All in all, the Asia Zushi Grill is a place I would visit again.

Average food. The grilled food on demand was very overcooked. Somewhat expensive, but drinks are included so maybe it evens out.

We were there today. Overall, a nice restaurant... But... All the hot dishes were lukewarm at best, and alcoholic drinks were only brought by one of the waiters. So, we had a good 10-minute wait. When we got home, we had an urgent, extended stay in the restroom. First and last time there.

It was very organized from the start, with plenty of seating and wide aisles, and everything was labeled and beautifully presented. Very family-friendly, thanks to the children's area located directly inside, separate from the dining room and therefore not at all disruptive for guests without children. Huge, varied buffet selection; there's something for everyone, big and small. The food tastes delicious and fresh. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back.

First of all, I can't understand the negative reviews. The staff at the entrance were very friendly and showed us (there were two of us today - 05/25/25-) to a good table. The other employees working in the restaurant were also very friendly. It was perhaps a bit noisy, as many seats were occupied, but we were still able to have a normal conversation :) The selection is also very good, the food is absolutely delicious, and another plus point is that drinks are all-inclusive. My feeling is that now that the restaurant is no longer called "Gourmet Hu" and there's apparently a new owner, the buffet has improved. Not only due to the remodeling of the buffet, but also in terms of taste. We would love to come back, perhaps not just as a couple, but also with a larger group :)

I didn't regret it. Huge selection, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. Everything is refilled very quickly. The island with the accompanying sauce is a highlight and I could go for it. The sushi is delicious, the selection of drinks is enormous. I have rarely experienced such a complex lunch buffet. As with 90% of the providers, the Mongolian grill can of course only be enjoyed in the evening. But what is served here at lunchtime is actually à la Bonheur.

We had lunch at the restaurant several times. The selection is huge, from vegetarians to meat lovers, everyone will find delicacies to their liking. Can't understand all the good reviews about the food! When it was still gourmet hu, I ate there and had food poisoning afterwards. I was there again recently (I was hoping that something had changed in terms of quality and not just the name) and lo and behold, food poisoning again! Can't recommend this store at all... the staff at reception was super nice but the rest of the staff is rude and they all look like they don't want to do their work!

Everything is freshly prepared and tastes excellent. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients, which you don't always expect from a buffet. The service is friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is modern and cozy. The value for money is absolutely spot on! I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

There were five of us and we all chose the all-you-can-eat buffet. The drinks are in large refrigerators and there are many non-alcoholic drinks. Only beer has to be ordered at the table. The buffet includes starters, salad, sushi, carpaccio, rice, pasta, fish, duck, chicken, chicken nuggets, calamari, fries, sauces, chicken curry, vegetables, ice cream, cakes, fruit, chocolate fountain and much more. It also gives you the option to put together a plate, attach the table marker to the plate and then the food is freshly fried and brought to you using an electric butler. Unfortunately, this butler is very loud when he moves through the corridors, which is annoying. The selection is very large, the dishes are unfortunately not hot, but taste good. The ambience is appropriate, as is the price-performance ratio. The entrance is barrier-free, there are plenty of parking spaces and I can only recommend making a reservation.

AZG is definitely a special experience. The cat robot brings the individually freshly grilled food to the table. The extensive range of self-service drinks, as well as a large selection of food is worth its price.

There was no apology or explanation. It's a shame, it ruined our evening, I was just glad I didn't eat it.

What was particularly shocking, however, was the blatant discrimination and unprofessional behavior of the staff. The staff was unfriendly, negative and disrespectful towards Russian-speaking guests. The young lady, who worked as an administrator, indulged in unacceptable behavior: she insulted guests, pointed her finger at them and even raised her voice. Such behavior is absolutely inexcusable and gives the impression that guests are not valued at this restaurant. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant if you value respectful treatment and a pleasant atmosphere.

We always enjoyed eating there. Today we went out to eat again after a long time, and afterwards I noticed that something was wrong with the bill. We were 2 adults, 2 x €23 and 2 children, 1 x €7.90 and 1 x €10.90. So a total of €64.80 without a tip. However, the waiter's EC machine showed €68 instead of €64.80, and we were still charged an extra €3 tip. What happened here? Either the waiter ripped us off, something we've never experienced before, or the prices went up - which I don't believe.
