We ate at Mikado for the first time today. The atmosphere is really wonderful and as soon as we entered we were warmly greeted and shown to a table. Based on a recommendation, my friend immediately ordered the advertised lavender lemonade. We had never heard of it before. So that I could first test whether it was something for me, a second glass was brought. Totally lovely. The taste convinced me straight away and I got one straight away. And we were able to order food straight away - we both ordered baguettes. And I've eaten many a good baguette. But that! That was an absolute dream. In addition, I had actually chosen a somewhat strange combination *laughs* And instead of just leaving it like that, I was very kindly pointed out that the baguette could taste a bit dry with this combination and how it would taste better. That's service! Thanks a million again for that. As I said, it was an absolute dream in the recommended way. Big praise also to the kitchen. And we will definitely come back. Super nice ambience, great and warm service, delicious food and great drinks at reasonable prices - what more could you want.

Ordered Sunday afternoon for 4 people. 2x the homemade spring rolls came in a chip box and without any side dishes like in the pictures. The best thing is that there was a long hair in a spring roll. The soups were quite good but that's about it. The main courses were just watery and tasted like nothing. Really boring and not a highlight. So we often go out for Asian food but this was really nothing. The only good thing was that the food was there after 20 minutes.

We ordered pizza today. Then we got a call asking if we could pick up the delivery in front of the closed bridge. What was discussed was that if the barrier was open, it would be delivered to your home and the driver would contact you when he was there. When we arrived the barrier was open but the driver didn't drive any further and then said that they no longer deliver to Herdorf because of the bridge. It would have been great if they had called us in advance to tell us that they weren't delivering to Herdorf, so we drove out ourselves for free. The driver apparently didn't know anything about it. Soon the pizza will be able to stay in Neunkirchen and we won't be ordering there anymore.
