Classico WeinBar in Minden

I've DJed there several times, and I've enjoyed it every time. A very nice owner, a friendly team, and delicious food always create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

I highly recommend Classico! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, ideal for an enjoyable evening. The food was simply delicious! I was particularly impressed by the piri-piri chicken – it tasted like it did in Portugal. The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and just the right amount of spice. Simply a true taste experience!

This less prominent restaurant – located in the former San Marco – is, for me, a real highlight in Minden's generally rather sparse and declining restaurant scene. The menu contains exactly what the website promises: authentic Portuguese and Italian cuisine. Added to that is an excellent wine selection (Portuguese and Italian) and very friendly service, who do everything possible to offer every guest the best possible experience. All ingredients are fresh and of very good quality. The wait time is relatively short, definitely reasonable. Special recommendation: Chicken Piri Piri, Pasteis de Bacalhau. Don't miss dessert. The Pasteis de nata are amazing; I've never had better ones anywhere, and I've tried quite a few over the past 30 years! The only downside: I once made a mistake with a cocktail; the Basil Splash was much too sweet for me, and at €10, a bit pricey. With salad, you should specify what you want on it up front; otherwise, it might come without dressing; I would do that differently. With its wide selection of drinks and tempting selection of appetizers, this restaurant is a great choice for a convivial tapas evening to kick-start your weekend, even if you're just a little peckish. Other plus points: It's child- and dog-friendly, and there's outdoor seating. Disadvantages: Unfortunately, the restaurant's construction makes it difficult to reach for guests with limited mobility (stairs, location, parking). Pricing: Fair. You can eat very well and plentifully for under €30 per person; for a long evening with several courses and plenty of drinks, we still ended up paying just under €100 per person, which would have been significantly more expensive elsewhere. If you're tired of noisy, third-rate chain restaurants and lousy service, this is the place for you. We'd definitely be back soon.

Unfortunately no longer recommended. Very unprofessional service and the food was too expensive for the quality. The drinks supply was catastrophic. Not only did the wrong thing come twice, a more expensive beer was served than ordered and billed as such, but unfortunately the wine didn't taste good at all. All the friendliness is no longer of much use.

Unfortunately, the first impression is misleading. Went there for dinner with 2 adults and a child. The waitress was completely overwhelmed and the boss didn't even notice. Waited 1.5 hours for the food. That's pretty intense... The second time there were 5 of us. Some said the food wasn't really seasoned. And my all you can eat check mark only came when the others were already finished and two of them wanted to go home🤔🫣🙄😕🫤. No comment...

Was in these rooms for the very first time. Food took a relatively long time to arrive...but it wasn't hot anymore. There was no salt and the dish I ordered had to have garlic on it... I didn't like it. Then asked for a salt shaker and got a broken salt mill.... But I ate it because I was very hungry. Then a man came and asked if the food was okay... the waitress also asked... but nothing happened... I told them that and all they got was an "Oh".... Well....not really good. So, I don't recommend it and you won't see me there anymore.🤷

I'd love to give it zero stars. The food took over an hour to arrive and was burnt, still raw inside, and inedible. Cheap fries, the kind you'd never get in Portugal. Far too expensive for a small portion, and no salad as promised. Generally not authentic Portuguese. And then they even charged us for the food we sent back. Just wow... 😒 I'm definitely not going there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately, after the change of ownership, things went down a lot, the food really wasn't very good, the service was very unprofessional, many side dishes came way too late. The furniture is now very worn out, but there is no way to be comfortable. Price performance doesn't fit.

Great ambience and super nice restaurateurs. Classic cocktails and Portuguese, southern delicacies. It's nice that there's such a great spot in Minden again where you can spend any time. The Classico Bar also always has great events. The pub quiz is a lot of fun! Always happy!

Es war ein gelungener Abend mit guten Weinen, leckerem Essen und einem sehr engagiertem Service. Der überbackene Feta ob mit oder ohne Krabben war sehr gut ! Der Hauswein weiß ebenfalls

The positive thing is that the food is good but that's about it. The service was very inattentive (often bringing the wrong thing or not coming to the table at all). Some of the music was very loud so conversation was hardly possible. The atmosphere is rather sparse and uninspired. Price ok.

The wine bar is a real insider tip in Minden. But once you find it you won't be disappointed. The staff is super nice and the pizza is impressive - much better than competitors in better locations on the market. Keep it up and gladly again!

Mein 2. Besuch bei Pasquale und wir haben es wieder sehr genossen. Die Einrichtung der Weinbar ist sehr gelungen. Man kommt rein und fühlt sich wohl. Die Speisen und Weine sind sehr gut und lecker. Die Wartezeiten sind nicht lang und der Service gut. Kleines Manko war die laute Musik bei gut gefülltem Restaurant, was die Gespräche etwas erschwerte 😌. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend und kommen gerne wieder 👍🏻.

Schon lange nicht mehr da gewesen, aber immer wieder eine Freude und Genuß. Pasquale, ein alter Freund von mir, immer gute Laune und ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Die Zeit dort vergeht wie im Flug und ich freue mich darauf in nächster Zeit dort wieder Gast sein zu dürfen😘

Wunderbares Essen in toller Atmosphäre. Vor allem aber mega toller Service und Bedienung. Da kann man sich es einfach gut gehen lassen. By the way, kann man auch noch prima Weine für zu Hause einkaufen. 😊

Leider schlechter Service. Wir waren mit 10 Personen dort und die Getränke und später auch das Essen kam alles einzeln und sehr zeitverzögerung an den Tisch. Ein gemeinsames Essen war daher kaum möglich. Auch später kam kaum jemand an den Tisch um weitere Bestellungen aufzunehmen. Zu dem waren die Speisen und Getränke recht überteuert. Was man bekommt ist ok aber nichts besonderes. Am Ende musste man dann noch feststellen das EC Karten Zahlung dort nicht möglich ist. Es müsste schon vorher darauf hingewiesen werden. Das Ambiente ist sehr schlicht und die Geräuschkulisse leider sehr laut.

Bierglas mit Lippenstift erhalten, die Bestellungen kamen in Etappen, 3 Aperol bestellt leider keine identische Füllhöhe bekommen. Bestellungen wurden erst nach mehrmaligen Aufforderungen aufgenommen und die Musik war schon etwas laut aber für eine Bar ok.

Wir gehen immerwieder sehr gerne dort essen. Danke

Wir sind heute in der Weinbar gewesen und haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, vom Ambiente, über das Essen und die Getränke und erst das Personal nebst Pasquale einfach super und dank der diesen schönen Abend.

Ich mag diese Bar. Der Inhaber, Pasquale, mitsamt Freundin und dem anderen Personal, allesamt immer gut gelaunt und serviceorientiert. Einfach ein Ort zum wohlfühlen.

Super gastfreundlicher Besitzer mit ausgeprägtem Service Verständnis. Die Speisen sind frisch und schmecken sehr gut. Super ist dass man nicht nur bar sondern auch mit PayPal zahlen kann :)

Ganz nettes Lokal, bis ca. 20:00 ist es noch sehr ruhig danach wird es recht lebhaft aber nicht unangenehm. Der Betreiber ist angenehm redselig. Lohnt sich mal vorbei zu schauen

Wir waren heute das erste Mal in der Weinbar Classico, nachdem wir bei unserem ersten Besuch nicht hineinkamen. Jetzt kann ich nur positives berichten. Vorspeise Bruschetta und Focaccia mit Schinken und Käse waren klasse, Nudeln mit Meeresfrüchte waren perfekt, die Pizzen sind mit die Besten, die ich jemals gegessen habe, und der Rotwein zum Essen war eine perfekte Empfehlung. Service, Mitarbeiter sehr aufmerksam, rundum ein perfekter Abend. Wir werden wohl Stammgäste werden. Bitte weiter so

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal in der Weinbar. Die Bedingungen und der Chef waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Weine. die uns nach Angabe unserer Vorlieben vom Chef empfohlen wurden waren sehr gut. Die Speisekarte ist klein gehalten aber es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden. Wir waren zu fünft und alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker sowie die Vorspeisen, wo wir uns für Bruschetta mit Tomaten und Focaccia mit Schinken und Käse entschieden haben. Als die Rechnung kam waren wir positiv überrascht. Ich kann die Weinbar jedem empfehlen, der guten Wein und die italienische Küche liebt wärmstes empfehlen.
