Es gibt Restaurants, in die man gerne geht. Und dann gibt es das Paradiso. Seit meiner Kindheit gehört dieses Restaurant einfach zu meinem Leben. Ob mit der Familie, zu Geburtstagen oder anderen besonderen Anlässen. Das Paradiso war für uns schon immer die erste Wahl. Und bis heute hat sich daran nichts geändert. Was dieses Restaurant so besonders macht, ist die Kombination aus außergewöhnlich gutem Essen und einer unglaublich herzlichen Atmosphäre. Das gesamte Servicepersonal ist aufmerksam, freundlich und herzlich. Man spürt sofort die familiäre Philosophie und die Leidenschaft, mit der hier gearbeitet wird. Auch der Chef lebt diese Gastfreundschaft jeden Tag vor. Die Qualität der Speisen ist einfach herausragend. Egal ob Fisch oder Fleisch alles ist frisch, perfekt zubereitet und geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Meiner Meinung nach stellt das Paradiso so manches große Sternerestaurant in den Schatten. Wer in Minden und der gesamten Region richtig gut essen möchte, kommt am Paradiso nicht vorbei. Für mich ist und bleibt es die absolute Nummer 1, wenn es um erstklassiges Essen geht. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Das paradiso soll auch ein Biergarten sein. Steht jedenfalls auf dem Schild. Auf die Frage, ob wir auch nur etwas trinken dürfen, wurde mit einem strengen „Nein!“ geantwortet. Es war nur ein Tisch von ca. 20 besetzt. Na, dann eben nicht!

Essen war sehr lecker ! aber unsere Kellnerin / Service war eine Katastrophe sehr unfreundlich beschwert sich weil sie zu oft laufen muss Saßen 3 Stunden dort und wurden nur einmal nach Getränke gefragt erste Bestellung Getränke wurde komplett vergessen , nach dem Essen nochmal Getränke bestellt kam auch erst nach 20 min also Service Katastrophe Essen sehr gut

Tolles Ambiente, jedoch mit mittelmäßigem Service. Das Kalbschnitzel mit Spargel und Kartoffeln ist für 42€ wenig überzeugend und erinnert an Kantine. Insgesamt hat es von Bestellung bis zum Servieren fast eine Stunde gedauert. Beim bezahlen waren die Getränke vom Nebentisch ebenfalls auf unserer Rechnung. Das können andere Restaurants in Minden besser.

Wie gewohnt, bei Paradiso, .... super Essen. Das war richtig gut!!! Dazu ein tolles Ambiente. Allerdings gibt es wie immer auch zwei Kritikpunkte. Das Personal erscheint sehr "reserviert", träge und nicht gerade zuvorkommend. Bei einigen hat man den Eindruck, sie seien genervt und froh, dass man wieder geht. Keine Nachfrage zum Essen, keine Nachfrage nach einer Nachspeise oder eines Degetifs. Nichts. Das hat Paradiso eigentlich nicht nötig. Die Wartezeit von über 45 Minuten ist der zweite, aber kleinere Kritikpunkt.

Immer wieder ein Erlebnis, in jeder Hinsicht. Bezeichnend: am Nachbartisch saßen zwei ältere Damen aus Bückeburg, die einen "guten Italiener" in ihrer Heimatstadt vermissen und deshalb den Weg auf sich genommen hatten. Wir waren wieder begeistert vom Essen, vom Service und vom Ausblick. Hier sehen Sie die vielleicht schönste Buche Mindens, vielleicht ist sie schon 200 Jahre alt. Dankeschön für die Gastfreundschaft.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Sehr freundlicher Empfang im wunderschönen Ambiente. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Speisen sind sehenswert angerichtet und geschmacklich auf ganz hohem Niveau. Dasü Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und gut geschult. Da kommen wir gern wieder.

Super schönes Restaurant, super gemütlich, super Essen. Eigentlich sollte man meinen das es damit ein perfekter Abend wird...das Essen egal ob Hauptmahlzeit oder Nachtisch 1a Qualität, exklusiv angerichtet ,Steak auf den Punkt. Bedienung sehr von oben herab, Kundenservice und Zuvorkommenheit sieht anders aus. Trotz des schönen Ambiente fühlt man sich unerwünscht. Andere Tische mit Abendmode werden dagegen freundlich angelächelt und es wird sich versichert, dass jederzeit alles zur Zufriedenheit ist. 2 Klassen Bedienung, daher eher keinen weiteren Besuch. Ist uns in keinem anderen gehobenen Restaurant so passiert wie dort, schade !

Ambiente super. Ewige Warterei um überhaupt zu bestellen, ewige Warterei um das bestellte zu bekommen. Servive-Personal möchte den Gast nicht sehen. Wir kommen nicht wieder

Das absolute Spitzenrestaurant in Minden ,ist das "Paradiso" ,es ist eingebettet in die "Kaiservilla". Die Küche kocht auf Sterne-Niveau und hätte meiner Meinung nach, einen oder vielleicht sogar zwei Michelin-Sterne verdient, aber es ist natürlich meine subjektive Meinung. Da ich sehr gutes Essen schätze, bin ich seit einigen Jahren Stammgast im "Paradiso" und kann sagen,dass ich noch nie enttäuscht wurde. Ich esse zwar abwechslungsreich, aber mein Favorit ist ein medium-gebratenes Rumpsteak ,mit einer Gorgonzola-Haube und einer leicht schaumigen Gorgonzolasauce mit grünem Pfeffer, Rosmarinkartoffeln und Gemüse, z.B. Babykarotten,Broccoli, Zucchini und Zuckererbsen. Das "Paradiso" hat auch eine sehr gute Dessertkarte. Das Dessert ist bei mir meistens ein "Crème brûlée", es ist einfach köstlich.Ich kann aber auch "Cassata" empfehlen, es ist eine sizilianische Eistorte mit salzigen Pistazien, auch das "Tiramisu" ist lecker. Es sind allesamt unwiderstehliche Süßspeisen. Ich kann das Spitzenrestaurant "Paradiso" uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

When the place is full, it's almost unbearable. The chairs are far too close together, the air is bad, and the waiters have to squeeze past you. Completely unsuitable for a "high-end" establishment.

In my opinion, this is the best Italian restaurant in Minden. The prices are high, but the quality and service are top-notch.

What a fantastic restaurant this is! Every dish is a true explosion of flavor. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and friendly staff.

The food is top notch with a wide selection of meats, pasta, pizza and seafood. The interior design and cleanliness is exceptional. Except for the pizza, this is the best Italian food in the area in my opinion and tastebuds. The service can be slow at times, but the owner Manuel is very picky about any details.

The food was very good, the only drawback was that the noodles were tossed in too much oil! Nice service, and the ambiance is also appealing.

The food was GREAT! Otherwise, a complete disaster! Sorry, but in the higher price segment, I definitely do NOT want to sit at a much too small table with high chairs! Due to the lack of space, the service can't function properly, and the guests are handed hot plates that are served with a napkin because of the temperature, and I burn my fingers! Refills? Why? The guests can do it themselves... That's just not acceptable... I've rarely been so annoyed... Conclusion: NEVER again 👎

The "head waiter" is a disaster. Almost hurting the business. Inattentive, unfriendly, and listless. My companion had a request: "Yes, perhaps too quiet or for other reasons," was his response to the guest: "It's on it... I told you...!!!!" I literally jumped... That's not possible. He wrote down the food with the number and was gone. My companion wanted a glass of wine. But he was almost gone. . We then called him back. No one saw our empty glasses. The empty plates also sat there forever. Now, you could find one excuse or another. But not when you're sitting right next to the kitchen entrance where everyone walks by. Maybe those are the cheap seats 🤷 No one asked if everything was okay and it tasted like... only the young man asked. I think his name was Kahn. The young man, a temporary worker/student, was much more attentive and friendlier. He asked if it tasted good, etc. But what's a temporary worker supposed to do when the restaurant management tears everything down again? Anyone can have a bad day, but that shouldn't happen to a "professional" with years of experience in service. The food and the selection are top-notch. The prices are reasonable, considering the high quality of the offerings. I had no idea what to end up eating. If I treat myself to something again, I'll go there. When making a reservation, I specifically didn't want to be served by that man. Disaster.

Das Essen war sehr gut, aber der Service ließ zu Wünschen übrig! Trotz Reservierung haben wir die hinterste Ecke bekommen.. und man wurde eher bedient wie 2. KLASSE! Das Personal wirkte gestresst und genervt.. es wurde nicht darauf geachtet, ob man noch etwas Trinken möchte.. Teilweise wurde etwas vergessen!

I wanted to celebrate our anniversary with my wife, but it was a total failure. The service was so bad. I come from the restaurant industry myself and know what I'm talking about. Guests who arrived later had already received their drinks. If you don't order a bottle of wine, you'll be treated like second-class citizens... The main course is served while the dishes from the starter are still in front of you. The question "Did you enjoy it?" was never asked... Empty glasses were also seen but skillfully ignored. I asked for the bill twice, and both times I was asked for a digestif. I got nothing... except the bill after half an hour. To the manager: Your staff needs retraining. They're out of the question about revenue and providing guests with a pleasant evening. You could make guests happier and generate more revenue with small things.

Recommended! Friendly, attentive service, with quick order processing. Mixed leaf salad with fillet tips (!), Buffalo mozzarella and figs, perhaps served too separately, with the walnuts hidden under the lettuce leaves. The additional salad dressing was only added later because it was forgotten. A grappa e.g. B. as a "consolation" would have been a nice gesture. The flambéed crèpe Suzette, filled with vanilla ice cream, was a poem, but would have been enough for two. All in all a positive surprise.

The Kaiservilla in Minden is a very special place that definitely deserves a top restaurant, "Paradiso" is one of them. Top Italian gastronomy, complemented by international delicacies, is served to the guests here. I have already been able to enjoy a few dishes at Paradiso and can do so today Restaurant "Paradiso" is a good judge. A perfectly fried rump steak with a gorgonzola cap and a slightly foamy gorgonzola sauce with green pepper, rosemary potatoes and various vegetables is my favorite, but a rack of lamb in Barolo Sud is also delicious. When it comes to fish, a sea bass fillet filled with zucchini and crabs is always very delicious. My favorite dessert is creme brulee, with vanilla ice cream and some fresh fruit .The food in the Paradiso is exceptionally good. The waiters and waitresses look after their guests perfectly, the food is served in a very concentrated manner. A big compliment goes to the kitchen, which, in my personal opinion, cooks at a star level. I can really recommend the "Paradiso". .💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓

This is one of the finest restaurants in Minden, where you are served absolutely delicious, fine food. However, serving takes so long that you'll probably have already eaten your fill of bread beforehand. I've never waited so long for my food. Then you get thirsty from all the bread and order more drinks - but that doesn't happen. First of all I had to ask FOUR times before I got a ginger ale (it's probably not that difficult - bottle open, bottle and glass on the table), the second time I gave up and was thirsty. I was here 2 times on 2 different evenings. Same thing both times, endless waiting, nothing to drink. You get the salad with your meal extremely early, without the main course - probably to prevent the guests from demanding a price reduction (which is legally the case here if you wait over 90 minutes). The manners of the head waiters sometimes seem a bit affected. Personally, I don't think I'll come back, for me la dolce vita means more lightness and you don't get that here

We were there for the first time on Friday evening and went back very happily. The location is really nicely furnished and has a good temperature, just to feel good. The service was absolutely professional, attentive and friendly and respectful. The food is priced on the higher end but really worth every penny, we could taste the quality. For us one of the best Italian restaurants in the area.

Wir kennen das Paradiso seit mindestens 10 Jahren und gehen etwa dreimal im Jahr dort essen. Wir waren an Sylvester dort, saßen im Glasanbau, hatten Rumpsteak bzw. Schweinefilet gewählt und beides war ausgezeichnet. Zusammenfassend, das Baguette am Anfang war wirklich frisch, der Salat mit frischen Blättern und durchaus abwechslungsreich, das Rumpsteak groß, leicht marmoriert und wie gewünscht medium plus gebraten, also saftig und die Beilagen (Rosmarinkartoffeln, Möhre, Zuckererbsen u. Brokoli) gut. Das Restaurant war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt und die Mannschaft hat alles gegeben. Wo gibt es das sonst, ein Restaurant, das bei solchem Andrang beste Qualität anbieten kann?

A very nice atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. The food was simply great. Great menu with something for everyone. The restaurant offers plenty of space, even for large celebrations. But you should definitely reserve a table. Unfortunately there are too few parking spaces. But everything else is really highly recommended. The prices are a little higher, but the food is worth it.

The kitchen is good. We were there with a small group. The waiting time for the food was normal, but sometimes you had to wait a little longer for the drinks, even for something as uncomplicated as a cola. Overall, however, the good overall impression prevails.

This was our first time at Paradiso. The food was good, according to the price. Unfortunately the service was very inattentive. We waited about 30 minutes for the first drinks, and we were only able to order the second drink after we went to a waiter. They were then served over 40 minutes later. We had to wait over 2 hours for the main course. We were about to leave. It seems to be known from the other reviews that the service is not good. It's a shame that it hasn't changed over the years. We're happy to pay more money, but then everything has to be right. It doesn't and should be improved. Other guests were served more quickly. Maybe they were regulars? We will no longer visit the Paradiso.

The food was very good but the service was not. People who came after us were more likely to have their drinks. We were left sitting in the heat for over 20 minutes without water. All the service employees seemed annoyed and rushed. A smile was not expected. Especially when you're celebrating your birthday, that's a shame. Nobody congratulated or was friendly, on the contrary, plus the very long waiting times. If you're going to eat in a restaurant like this, the service and the atmosphere have to be right.

It is a restaurant where service and taste with fine and good food are taken for granted. Everything fits if you are aware of the value of these two things and are willing to pay the price for them without hesitation

Ich war mit meiner Freundin im Paradiso. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber leider war der Service Mitarbeiter nicht sehr freundlich. Er vermittelte uns den Eindruck, dass ihm sein Job nicht sonderlich viel Spaß macht. Auch bei der Bezahlung und Trinkgeld (10% vom Verzehr) nicht mal ein Dankeschön! Ich werde dieses Restaurant nie wieder besuchen!

We had the best dinner with family at this restaurant! The fish dishes on the Menü were exceptionally - especially the dorade in salt! It is an Italian eatery inside a large villa building with a beautiful setting! I highly recommend reservations for this gem.

Sometimes it takes a really long time until someone comes and asks for drinks...

It's a shame, the acoustics are very unfavorable and therefore it is very loud. You can't talk to your guests. The service is overwhelmed, doesn't see that the glasses are empty and needs time for operational heckling.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend. Sämtliche Service-Kräfte waren sehr nett und aufmerksam und das bei einem ziemlich gut gefüllten Lokal. Die Wartezeit auf die diversen Speisen war völlig normal, überraschenderweise vielleicht sogar etwas schneller als erwartet. Die Teller mit den warmen Speisen waren sehr gut vorgewärmt, sodaß man in Ruhe die Nudeln oder den Fisch ( also Gerichte, die ja ansonsten relativ schnell abkühlen ) geniessen konnte. Und qualitativ war alles auf dem Niveau, wie wir es erwartet haben und wie man es für den Preis auch erwarten durfte. Für uns hat rundum alles gepasst !
