Die Meeresfrüchteplatte als Vorspeise war groß, aber geschmacklos. Ein Dip und etwas Würze im Teig könnten helfen. Die Lasagne hatte nicht mehrere Schichten Fleisch und Nudeln, sondern nur Fleischsoße obenauf. Die Tomatensoße war nicht heiß; bei zwei Bestellungen war nur der Boden des Gerichts heiß. Der Geschmack war aber in Ordnung. Das Badezimmer ist renovierungsbedürftig. [1] Update August 2026 Der Inhaber bat um die Entfernung meiner Bewertung wegen Verleumdung. Mein Einspruch bei Google war erfolgreich, und die Entfernung wurde rückgängig gemacht. [2] Antwort des Inhabers: „…Bezüglich der Schäden im Badezimmer möchten wir darauf hinweisen, dass wir als Betreiber nicht verantwortlich gemacht werden können, wenn Gäste Gegenstände vorsätzlich beschädigen oder die Einrichtungen unsachgemäß benutzen…“ Ich finde es fragwürdig, die Schuld allein den Gästen zuzuschieben und von „vorsätzlicher Beschädigung“ zu sprechen. Badezimmer sind stark frequentierte Orte, die häufiger gewartet werden müssen als zu Hause. 1. Das Badezimmer war sauber, daran gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Die erwähnten Mängel betrafen den wackeligen Türgriff und den lockeren Sitz. Letzteres ist ärgerlich und in Restaurants leider häufiger der Fall. 2. Als Restaurantbesitzer ist man verpflichtet, die Einrichtungen täglich zu überprüfen und nicht erst auf Google-Bewertungen zu warten. Die Toilette war noch in gutem Zustand. Es ist gut zu hören, dass darauf hingewiesen wurde. Meine größten Bedenken galten jedoch der Temperatur und dem fehlenden Geschmack einiger, aber nicht aller Gerichte. Wie ich in anderen Bewertungen gelesen habe, bietet das Restaurant zusätzliche Dips und Saucen an, aber wir wurden darüber nicht informiert und haben daher keine bestellt.

Die Pizzeria Grimaldi befindet sich direkt angrenzend an unser Grundstück, daher können wir sowohl das Essen als auch die Situation vor Ort sehr gut beurteilen. Zur Pizza: Der Boden ist extrem dünn, was sicherlich Geschmackssache ist – meinen persönlichen Geschmack trifft es allerdings nicht. Der Rand ist dafür im Verhältnis sehr dick. Insgesamt ist die Pizza geschmacklich in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes. Was jedoch deutlich schwerer wiegt, ist die Situation rund um den Betrieb: Hinter dem Gebäude, direkt anliegend an unser Grundstück, herrschen sehr unordentliche Zustände. Es stehen dort dauerhaft Paletten, Kisten und Einkaufswagen voller leerer Glasflaschen herum. Diese werden häufig – besonders abends – lautstark bewegt, was über mehrere Minuten hinweg zu erheblichem Lärm führt. Zusätzlich kommt es regelmäßig vor, dass Mitarbeiter bei geöffnetem Fenster laut telefonieren oder sich aus dem Fenster lehnen und Gespräche führen – teils gegen 21:30–22:00 Uhr. Da die Kinderzimmer unserer Kinder direkt in diese Richtung liegen, ist das besonders störend. Auch aus der Küche sind bei geöffnetem Fenster oft bis spät abends deutliche Geräusche zu hören. Mehrfach saßen zudem Gäste bis gegen Mitternacht draußen vor dem Laden und haben sich laut unterhalten, obwohl die regulären Öffnungszeiten eigentlich früher enden sollten. Gerade im Sommer ist die Situation sehr belastend, da Schlafen bei geöffnetem Fenster durch den Lärm kaum möglich ist. Insgesamt entsteht leider der Eindruck, dass auf die Nachbarschaft wenig Rücksicht genommen wird. Fazit: Essen okay, aber die Lärmbelästigung und die Zustände im Außenbereich sind für Anwohner eine deutliche Einschränkung.

Also , . . . . das Essen fand ich geil. Meine Frau nicht , aber darum schreibe ich ja die Rezensionen 😉. Die Pizza, wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Die Antipasti, ich bin kein Fan von Oliven, aber frische Oliven zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben, wow lecker. Also die Vorspeisen waren geil und die Hauptspeisen echt lecker. Das Personal war freundlich, aber mehr auch nicht. Das Ambiente, . . . .Weiß nicht warum ich im Außenbereich künstlichen, verblassten Rollrasen legen lasse. Sieht einfach nur billig aus , sorry , aber egal solange es schmeckt.

Die Pizza ist geschmacklich gut, der Rand ist jedoch ziemlich dick. Das ist aber geschmacksache! Ich wollte mal richtig verrückt sein und wollte mal was anderes ausprobieren und habe die Lasagne zum mitnehmen bestellt. Leider konnte man die Lasagne geschmacklich gar nicht genießen und 1 Stern wäre schon zu viel. Sie schmeckte leider überhaupt nicht selbst gemacht, sondern eher als wäre sie aus einer Fertig-Lasagnen-Verpackung in den Ofen geschoben. Es schmeckte weder nach Tomate, nach Fleisch und war 0 gewürzt, es schmeckte nach Verpackung. Dafür 14 Euro zu zahlen, ist eine Frechheit. Das nächste Mal besorge ich mir eine Lasagne von Lidl, da weiß ich wenigstens was mich erwartet und ich zahle einen Bruchteil dafür. Sehr sehr schade! Vom italienischen Restaurant erwarte ich mir wenigstens ein Gefühl von selbstgemachter Lasagne mit Geschmack!

Empfehlenswert: total toller Service , familiärer Eindruck, aktive Handlungen das es dem Kunden auch so gut wie möglich geht :-). Ausgezeichnet: Das Essen war durch und durch genial, nicht zu überladen und traditionelle Zubereitung, wie aus der Heimat. Verbesserungsfähig: Der vordere Sitzbereich passt leider nicht so richtig in das sonst wirklich geniale Konzept, es entsteht nicht so der intime Wohlfühlbereich , durch Abholung von Speisen und relativ hohen „Durchgangsverkehr“ . Im hinteren Restaurant Bereich deutlich besser gelöst :)

Sehr gute Pizza, klare Empfehlung. Ich war kürzlich mit Freunden in dieser Pizzeria in Minden. Die Pizza war geschmacklich wirklich hervorragend – frisch, gut belegt und auf den Punkt gebacken. Das war ganz klar das Highlight unseres Besuchs. Der Service war insgesamt in Ordnung: freundlich und aufmerksam, aber ohne besondere Auffälligkeiten. Das Ambiente ist eher einfach gehalten, was den Gesamteindruck jedoch nicht negativ beeinflusst, da der Fokus eindeutig auf der Küche liegt. Preis-Leistung ist fair und angemessen für die Qualität, auch wenn es kein klassisches „Schnäppchen“ ist. Entscheidend ist hier ganz klar die gute handwerkliche Qualität der Speisen. Insgesamt ein solides Restaurant mit sehr starker Küche. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen und die Pizzeria weiterempfehlen.

Sehr teuer und die Pizza war nicht besonders lecker. Für den recht harten Rand hätte man noch einen Dip gebrauchen können.Sehr schade. Das Ambiente nicht gemütlich. Es war laut und zog. Kaffee Spezialitäten nicht gut. Wer wirklich leckere Pizza sucht, muss die Fahrt nach Bielefeld ins Capvin antreten, die sich 100% auszahlt!

Wir waren heute zu zweit bei Grimaldi und haben trotz vollem Restaurant und ohne Reservierung noch einen richtig schönen Platz bekommen. Endlich das Grimaldi in Minden getestet. Tischreservierung ging unproblematisch über WhatsApp. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker. Für die original Napoleantische Pizza lohnt es sich wieder zu kommen. Allerdings muss an dem Ambiente (was einen Restaurantbesuch ja auch aus macht) gearbeitet werden. Wir saßen in dem Nebenraum, der sehr spartanisch eingerichtet und dekoriert ist. Das Grimaldi-Team war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

Wir waren zu viert dort – zwei von uns waren mit der Pizza zufrieden, zwei leider gar nicht. „Geschmacklich war sie leider nicht wirklich überzeugend.“ Das Ambiente war eine Enttäuschung. Wenn es möglich wäre, würde ich sogar 0 Sterne vergeben. Die Akustik ist katastrophal, die Einrichtung wirkt eher lieblos, und durch die riesigen Schaufenster fühlt man sich fast wie auf dem Präsentierteller. Was das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis angeht, lässt es ebenfalls zu wünschen übrig. Der Teig mag zwar mit viel Liebe gemacht sein, aber die Desserts sind leider eine Enttäuschung – sie schmecken eher wie aus der Tiefkühltruhe des Supermarkts. Für ein kleines Glas für fast 9 € empfinde ich das als unangemessen. Die Bedienung bemüht sich zwar, doch leider gibt es vereinzelt Damen, die einen eher abwesend anstarren und nicht wirklich auf die Bedürfnisse der Gäste eingehen. Abschließend lässt sich sagen: Zwei von uns könnten sich eventuell noch einmal etwas zum Mitnehmen bestellen, aber ich persönlich werde definitiv nicht mehr zum Essen vorbeikommen. Da kann ich genauso gut zum Bahnhof in Frankfurt gehen und mir eine Pizza holen – das Akustik-Erlebnis wäre wahrscheinlich genauso gut.

Ich war am Valentinstag im Gremaldi in Minden. Wir hatten extra zwei Wochen im Voraus reserviert, da groß angekündigt wurde, dass es an diesem Tag zusätzlich ein Gebäck und ein Glas Sekt geben soll. Leider war der Abend eine große Enttäuschung. Die Pizza kam fast kalt an den Tisch – bei einem Restaurant erwarte ich zumindest, dass das Essen heiß serviert wird. Die Lasagne war geschmacklich wirklich schlecht und erinnerte eher an Babybrei mit ein paar Lasagneplatten als an eine frisch zubereitete Lasagne. Der Service war in Ordnung, konnte das Gesamtbild aber nicht retten. Der angekündigte Sekt wurde zwar gebracht, allerdings sehr sparsam eingeschenkt. Das versprochene Gebäck ist überhaupt nicht bei uns angekommen – trotz vorheriger Reservierung und klarer Werbung dafür. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier absolut nicht. Für die Qualität des Essens sind die Preise in keiner Weise gerechtfertigt. Gerade an einem besonderen Anlass wie Valentinstag hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet.

Leider sehr enttäuscht 1 Vorspeise wird 2 mal berechnet nur weil man als Paar kommt. Und nur nach Nachfrage bekommt man Brot zu Antipasti. (Ist selbstverständlich das Brot zum antipasti gehört) Leider sind die Pizzen auch Kalt angekommen.

Gestern Abend waren wir zum ersten Mal im neuen Grimaldi. Wir waren im Nebenraum, wo es sehr kalt war. Zudem war es, obwohl nicht alle Plätze belegt waren, sehr laut. Das Essen war geschmacklich gut. Die Pizza wurde schnell kalt, wegen Raumtemperatur oder Teller nicht vorgewärmt? Preisleistungsverhältnis ist grenzwertig. Draussen ein Parkplatzproblem. Zuwenig eigene Parkplätze. Ausserdem schlecht Schnee geräumt.

Essen ist sehr sehr gut. Aber der Restaurant Bereich ist eher bissel einfach gehalten. Bedienung Nett! Alles in allem für mich gut. Aber Restaurant schön Essen gehen stell ich mich vom Gesamtpaket etwas anders vor. Mehr Nachfrage ob was fehlt gemütlichere Atmosphäre. Ach und viel schärfere Messer.

The restaurant area near the entrance was very spartan (I didn't go to the back), and it got a bit noisy later on. The food was great. I had bruschetta and authentic spaghetti carbonara. My colleagues had pizza and were also very happy. The service seemed a little inexperienced, but very friendly. In short – I'll be back!

The food is still first-class, even in the new premises. The acoustics are a shame; it gets quite noisy when everyone wants to talk. Otherwise, it's a highly recommended Italian restaurant.

Grimaldi was a long-time favorite on the Ringstrasse for us, and after a long break, we were really looking forward to visiting their new location. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The pizza wasn't cooked through, and the anchovies were clearly not cooked but simply placed raw on top. This doesn't exactly speak to the quality of the food. The fish itself was also unappealing – the anchovies still had their silver skin on, which further detracted from the overall experience. All in all, the visit was very disappointing. It's a shame, but we definitely won't be returning.

The tuna pizza was bland and had far too few toppings. We had to search for the onion rings. The atmosphere is cold and uninviting. The Italian "Alster" (a shandy) tasted artificial. The price/performance ratio is unacceptable.

The food was great! However, we had reserved a table for four, which was very poorly placed. Two people sat on one side, and the other two were seated at the ends of the table instead of facing each other on the other side. When we asked if the table could be rearranged so we could sit opposite each other, as it was otherwise impossible to have a conversation due to the noise, we received only an unfriendly response. Only after we insisted on sitting opposite each other was anything done. The waitress, a young woman, was very unfriendly from then on. She displayed no courtesy whatsoever. When it came time to pay, she overcharged us, and when we pointed this out, she responded rudely instead of apologizing. A young man, on the other hand, was very friendly throughout the evening and apologized for the mistake. The food was reasonably priced. However, I found €10 for a 1-liter bottle of water to be quite steep.

They offer an incredibly good selection of pizzas. I've never eaten better ones. But all the other dishes, appetizers, and desserts are truly world-class! Highly addictive. I will definitely be back.

Vouchers are not accepted if they are older than three years. Very inflexible and unaccommodating. Especially since we're not from Minden and there was a pandemic. This is not what customer service should be like!

We had a lovely evening with 11 people at Grimaldi. The food was absolutely delicious; the authentic Neapolitan pizzas in various styles were fantastic, as were the ravioli. There was also a wonderful selection of desserts (we highly recommend the tiramisu and the doughnuts). We also enjoyed the Italian Birra Moretti. Limoncello was complimentary. The service was very friendly and attentive. All in all, a very successful visit. We'd love to come back! 👍

Hey! I guess I have to write something new, since the Grimaldis have moved. And we were there yesterday. To get straight to the point, the menu is still exciting, and the ingredients are of excellent quality. Everything is beautifully presented. The service is super friendly, attentive, and interested. We enjoy eating there. The only downside: I don't find the atmosphere quite as cool as it used to be. Instead of shabby chic, everything is now rather cold. It's gone from being a bakery/grocery store where you can also eat in to a modern restaurant. I find that a bit of a shame. But it wouldn't stop me from coming back.

Ordered and picked up a pizza, absolutely delicious! Not your average pizza, nothing to do with that. I'd be happy to come back anytime. The dishes on the plates at the location also looked good. However, the space was very limited. The staff was very young and a bit fussy here and there, but friendly. I was able to pick up my order after 45 minutes. It was absolutely worth it. The pastries and vitello tonnato were also delicious. Now, after moving to the new location, the food is still absolutely perfect. However, the boss should take a look at his restroom. At 5:30 p.m., no toilet paper, a tiny trash can full, not really cleaned. The staff is polite, but their expressions are genuinely annoyed. We've been there several times in the last few weeks. We miss the old dolci and the coziness, the warm lighting on the table, etc. The front room is extremely uncomfortable. While you're eating, people are constantly standing behind your back or in your face, making it difficult to enjoy the excellent food. That's a real shame. The outside area, especially in summer, is unmown and weeds are endless. The overall look isn't right.

I spontaneously stopped by for dinner with my boyfriend. It's really no wonder it always seems to be packed in the evenings. The pizza is amazing! I haven't had such a delicious pizza in a really long time. This is definitely my new favorite pizzeria. Thank you for the delicious food.

We were always regulars! But unfortunately, we have to say that since the new shop opened, we're absolutely no longer convinced... Definitely the food! But the service has deteriorated so much – unbelievable! Not to mention the ambiance of the new shop. Whether the Grimaldi family did themselves a favor by doing this... I don't know. It's not cozy at all anymore; it's rather cold and has absolutely nothing to do with the concept of a traditional pizzeria, as was always the case on the Ringstrasse. In my opinion, the service is simply nonexistent. No one asks for drinks, you constantly have to make yourself known, even when it's not busy. And the young lady seems totally annoyed by the customers, and everything is too much... truly unbelievable, I'm sorry. We've been there three times since the new shop opened, and three times we've been rather disappointed by everything... such a shame :/

We love this pizzeria! My parents live in Minden, and every time I visit them, an evening here is a must—the pizza is simply unbelievably delicious. We stumbled upon the pizzeria by chance back when it was still on Ringstrasse and are so glad we did. You can immediately tell it's a family-run restaurant—everyone who works there is super friendly and accommodating. We were really sad when the pizzeria closed for a few weeks due to the move, but the new location has turned out really great: modern, cozy, and with the same great atmosphere as before. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Neapolitan pizza! 🍕

The Italian antipasti was very simple, but tasty and of good quality. I hadn't tried Neapolitan pizza before, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service wasn't particularly attentive, and overall, we didn't find it particularly cozy. Overall, the four of us had a lovely evening.

The restaurant doesn't look very inviting from the outside!

My husband and I went there, and he was happy with it, but I didn't like it. The seafood pasta was not tasty and was simply drenched in oil; it was practically swimming in it. It was also spicy, which wasn't indicated on the menu. While I'm grateful that they remade it and didn't make it spicy, unfortunately, it still wasn't good. Furthermore, the selection on the menu was very limited.

The pizza was truly amazing. Finally, a truly good, authentic Neapolitan pizza nearby. Unfortunately, the tiramisu and carbonara weren't as impressive.

We've been to Minden for a week about seven times in the last six months for work. An evening at Grimaldi's was always a must. The pizzas served here are so delicious and tasty. I don't know if I've ever eaten a better one. We will definitely miss this restaurant. Congratulations to Minden for such a great location. 😀 Five stars are more than deserved and still not enough.

Delicious food, fast service, but unfortunately, I got a greasy glass and a dirty fork. Got a non-alcoholic wheat beer, even though I ordered regular. Blazing sun, no sunscreen. Very loud and hectic, unkempt outdoor area.

For me the best pizzeria in all of Minden with the best and fluffiest pizza dough and crust, great variations, plenty for vegetarians, but not very cheap, pre-ordering makes sense as the waiting time is long

The pizza is great, typically Neapolitan. The pasta was also close to perfection. For starters, we had the bruschetta with homemade bread. Truly amazing. What do East Westphalians say when food is the height of enjoyment? "You can eat it!" Truly, the food was great, the service friendly, and the prices reasonable, but not exactly cheap. You might not be able to afford it every day, but it's worth going there regularly. A lovely evening that you should treat yourself to!

The culinary experience was impressive: The pizza was excellent – ​​thin crust, fresh, high-quality ingredients, and tasted authentically Italian. The bar area has a modern design and is a positive eye-catcher. The staff was also friendly and attentive, all dressed in a uniform manner – which initially seemed professional. However, a different picture quickly emerged. The service was not of the same quality as the food. Drinks and food were not served properly, but rather passed around – even right across your face while you were eating. This simply shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this price range. It was very unpleasant. The situation was even more evident in the restrooms: electrical cables running across the ceiling, remnants of wallpaper stuck on several times, and an overall very clumsy impression. The restroom was so dirty during my visit that I had to clean it myself to even use it. This is not only unpleasant, but unacceptable. Added to this was the uncomfortably loud noise level in the dining room, making relaxed conversation impossible. Of course, you want to get the most out of your business financially, but this comes at the expense of the atmosphere. Conclusion: The food is of high quality, no question – but the overall experience falls far short of the price. The price is simply not right for what's offered here. Anyone who cooks with such ambition must also deliver in terms of service and the condition of the rooms. The potential is there – but it's currently underutilized.

Neapolitan Pizza in Minden – Great Concept with Room for Improvement in Service We were invited to dinner by our parents/in-law and were excited to see that they were serving Neapolitan pizza – a culinary specialty we're more familiar with from Cologne and not often found in Minden. Ambience & Atmosphere The welcome was friendly, and we were shown directly to our seats. At first, it was pleasantly quiet, but as the number of guests grew, the noise level increased significantly. At times, it was almost impossible to have a conversation at the table. The room temperature also became uncomfortably high – the large glass fronts, which let in the sun directly, create a conservatory effect. Better air conditioning or shade would have been desirable here. Service & Process The drinks were ordered quickly, but the glasses were brought to the table one at a time and with a delay. The appetizer arrived on two plates, but without suitable cutlery for distributing them – everyone had to use their own place settings. When clearing the table, we were asked to keep our knives and forks for the main course. Personally, I find it more pleasant when the table is freshly set for each course. Somewhat disappointing was the long wait of about 30 minutes between the starter and the main course – without any inquiries about additional drinks or even a brief warning. The pizzas were served individually and with a significant delay, so no one could eat at the same time. The ordered wine also only arrived with the main course, but all the empty glasses from the aperitif and previous drinks remained on the table. Over time, the table became quite cluttered without being cleared. Observations & Cleanliness It was noticeable that the service completely dispensed with trays – this led to salad bowls, for example, being brought to the table by hand with the thumb in the bowl. This doesn't seem very hygienic. A neighboring table was also not wiped down all evening – although it wasn't reassigned, cleaning would still have been appropriate. Conclusion The kitchen has potential, the concept is exciting, and the pizzas were delicious – but the service and organization urgently need to improve. Especially given the relatively high prices compared to other dining options in Minden, I expect not only good products, but also consistent service and a pleasant atmosphere. Since this is a new location, I see the whole thing as a possible "getting used to it" period. Nevertheless, I know that they already have experience from another business – so some things surprise me. One final thought for the owner: Criticism is not an attack, but a gift – it offers the opportunity to optimize processes and delight guests in the long term. I wish the team continued success and hope that the points mentioned will be improved in the future.

We reserved a table for 8 p.m. and arrived on time. I made my presence known and was told that the server would attend to me. After standing at the counter for 20 minutes, sweating and waiting, we were escorted to the very thin and wobbly cardboard tables. I had an appointment 30 minutes later, so I ordered a pizza, hoping to get my food quickly. The first pizza arrived 40 minutes later, followed by the other two 5 minutes later. One pizza was incorrectly loaded and had to be returned. It's extremely echoey and very loud. Tablecloths would help. The prices are high, though. €7.80 for a bottle of water is extortionate. The owner's handling of other reviews is often unfriendly and disrespectful to customers.

We were customers at the bakery and then at the first restaurant. This was exactly how we like it - low-key and cozy with the charm of a typical Italian osteria. The owners are really friendly and personable! Unfortunately, we don't like the new restaurant at all so far! Of course, that's a matter of taste, but it doesn't have a very nice atmosphere yet (the tiles are too cold, the artificial flowers are too shiny, the gold is too shiny!). The windows contribute to the sterile ambiance. As it has only recently opened, a lot can of course change and improve! The prices of the non-alcoholic drinks are definitely excessively expensive, as children in particular often want them. You really think about doing without drinks altogether! I hope Grimaldi doesn't end up like Italbar did back then. If you only want an elite clientele, that's sometimes not enough. This is factual criticism and opinion and not an insult! I hope you understand it that way!!
