Die besten Restaurants in Schleiz

We visited "das Konrad" on a Thursday at 3 p.m. in December as a stopover when we were driving back from Lower Saxony to Bavaria. From the greeting to the order to the food and the farewell, everything was great. The local beer/shandy, the burger “dirty egg” and the onion rings with ajoli as well as crème brûlée and NY cheese cake were very tasty! The pulled pork burger was good. We left out the red cabbage, which had a hint of cinnamon, that was served with the burger. It just wasn't our cup of tea. Great people who don't seem stressed even during "renovation work", on the contrary, you can tell they're up for it. The toilet was clean, we also liked the furnishings and the music, which was more techno-heavy. We were also told that local DJs play there every now and then. It's a bit of a shame that there are only burgers, but they are definitely delicious! Will visit “das Konrad” again!

Simple quick restaurant, the food and service were good. Only 4km from the motorway, free parking nearby. Perfect for a travel stop, also because Asian food is not heavy on the stomach.

We were there today for the first but definitely not the last time. Friendly, cozy atmosphere with very fine food..

I'm really surprised by the many good reviews. The food came very, very quickly... Which is actually positive, but probably indicates that everything was pre-cooked and rushed. Unfortunately, the food was very below average. But the worst thing was that my wife's chicken steak was partially raw inside. I would have preferred to have everything returned. That was our first and last visit there. The gyros, which is now really standard, were bland and sometimes even tasted old or overlaid. The service just seemed rushed and smiling doesn't seem to be common there. Absolutely not recommended!

Great service and the food was delicious, the vegetables were fresh and crunchy and the plates were really beautifully and lovingly decorated. The restaurant also looks very well maintained. An unbeatable price-performance ratio. Very child friendly.

German cuisine is now very rare, but schnitzel from the deep fryer, ready-made potatoes and mixed vegetables from a jar is not a culinary delight. The condition and furnishings of the rooms are more reminiscent of a Mitropa restaurant from the 80s.

I haven't been there in a while so I was really pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty, the prices were absolutely ok. The service was friendly and quick. I just don't find the back guest room really comfortable. It radiates a lot of cold, which is a shame. But I will definitely eat here again.

Tasty Asian food at a very good price. Nothing fancy, but a great place for a pit stop not far from the motorway, especially when passing through. Good parking options.

Very friendly, attentive, quick staff, great food and a good atmosphere. All-round view surrounded by lots of nature, well-kept outdoor area with playground and outdoor spaces. Delicious selection of cakes and cocktails.

Boy, was that a great pizza for the money and it was delicious too. Unfortunately the ambience isn't that nice and the toilet...uijuijui.... It doesn't matter as long as the rest is right...

I experienced a wonderful celebration with 27 birthday guests, thanks to the excellent hospitality and the great atmosphere
