Simple quick restaurant, the food and service were good. Only 4km from the motorway, free parking nearby. Perfect for a travel stop, also because Asian food is not heavy on the stomach.

There were three of us there and we ordered 3 different dishes and they were all delicious; We enjoyed/was very digestible (i.e. well prepared) and good, full portions. The atmosphere is light, relaxed, unobtrusive and very attractive with historical pictures and visual aids (photo album, rocks, mill... see photos) - There are basically two rooms, a rustic, older, brick room with a fireplace and a room with a simple, plain room with white walls (see photos). The waitress/cook is really a person who made us feel very comfortable and would be happy to come back. For us it was as if our dear grandma had prepared food for us, with love, dedication and also tasty. Just as it should be. Very personable. Thank you very much at this point! :-) My mom sometimes works in the nursing home nearby and the older people are sometimes extremely happy to come to the Glücksmühle to dine. ¤ You can also buy local honey there ¤ There are only a few seasonal main dishes, but they are very successful ¤ A possibly. There is a working piano on site...

There is very tasty food at good prices, the ambience is old but well maintained

Great service and the food was delicious, the vegetables were fresh and crunchy and the plates were really beautifully and lovingly decorated. The restaurant also looks very well maintained. An unbeatable price-performance ratio. Very child friendly.

We ate there with the whole family on December 25th, 2024 and we were very positively surprised. The food was very, very tasty. We can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

Very friendly, attentive, quick staff, great food and a good atmosphere. All-round view surrounded by lots of nature, well-kept outdoor area with playground and outdoor spaces. Delicious selection of cakes and cocktails.

Food wasn't really my thing! Noodle bland! Pizza, well you can eat it!

We eat there for birthdays and other larger celebrations. Very good Thuringian bourgeois cuisine. Fast service and, when the weather is good, a starting point for beautiful hikes.
