This is our second time in the Hermitage. (We watched the Schleizer Classic race 2024). Was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms newly renovated. The old owners have leased the property to younger people. The new owners are very attentive and friendly! The food is inexpensive (for today's standards), plentiful and tastes good. The breakfast has a large selection. There are fresh rolls from the bakery! (no baked rolls). We were able to store the motorcycle in the carport! Nothing more is possible. Or ?

I have to say that I come from the catering industry myself, but I have never experienced anything like this. We didn't eat anything there because an older lady greeted us rudely. You can't express the words totally unfriendly. What to drink, she said in an inappropriate tone, without even putting a card in front of us. Then three foils with the menu flew onto the table. To which I said to my friends, we're leaving. A house in such a beautiful, quiet location and then such an unfriendly reception. It's a shame, but you don't have to be treated like that. We then found a wonderful restaurant in Greiz with friendly service. So I have to be grateful for the unfriendly service.

Rooms, food and service were all excellent. The innkeepers were very friendly and responded to our wishes. The food was very tasty.

We had dinner at this inn on Sunday. We were assigned a good seat without a reservation. What struck me negatively was that there were a lot of locals there There were probably regular guests there and they were greeted particularly warmly by the manager of the house. However, she didn't greet us outsiders who were sitting at a table next to us and simply ignored us. I didn't find it very friendly. The food was okay. In my opinion the price is way too overpriced. Even with the increasing additional costs, it is slowly becoming excessive to pay over 20 euros for a tiny roulade. A fresh salad was neither included nor on the menu. I pay my local butcher about 25 euros for 10 large roulades. If I pay 50 euros for 2 people, just for 2 meals and 2 x 0.4l drinks, something is wrong. Converting to DM is laughable. But we employees never received double salary when we changed... 🤣😅100 DM for lunch, laughable and sad. If we had seen a menu outside, we would have gone somewhere else. But this is just an example and not the only ones that are so overpriced. Conclusion: I would rather cook myself or take something with me on a trip. Thank God we didn't have any children with us.........🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 200 DM for a family with 2 children, it's funny and then they want an ice cream... .....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nightmare Germany 🤧😪

We were there for lunch today. It was busy and the service was friendly and nice. The food was at the table less than 15 minutes after ordering. We ordered roulades, which tasted quite good... and there was nothing to complain about. *I just have to get rid of something again, 20.60 euros for a small roulade, and there wasn't even salad, and then in the country I'm starting to think it's exaggerated, With all understanding of the additional costs that an innkeeper has. These are Munich prices. If there had been a menu in front of the entrance we wouldn't have been able to get in. But everyone has to know that for themselves...it bothered me...but otherwise I recommend it based on the food.

We slept there and our room was nice and cozy. We didn't get to know the restaurant because the owners were on vacation. However, we received a great breakfast on Sunday when we left. Thanks to the team for this pleasant stay.

Sehr ausgewogene Auswahl an Speisen, alles frisch zubereitet und vor allem richtig lecker, zudem kann man die Räumlichkeiten für Feierlichkeiten nutzen. Es gibt sogar ein Kaminzimmer, in welchem das Naturgestein als Blickfang integriert wurde, tolle Atmosphäre. Im Sommer ist auch im Biergarten viel Platz, das kühle Nass zu genießen. Vor allem der Kellertrunk ist äußerst süffig 😅 Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und flott unterwegs. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Nostalgisches Gasthaus und eine sympathische Inhaberin. Wer deftige Hausmannskost mit nur Fleischgerichten bzw. Braten und Klöße mag ist hier gut aufgehoben. Leider gibt es überhaupt keine Alternativen an gesunden frischen Gerichten (Salate, Fisch, Vegetarisch). Uns lag die schwere Kost arg im Magen und auch die Klöße sind von der Konsistenz zu weich und breiig. Jeder wie er mag, für uns nicht. Alles Gute!

Immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Sehr gute volkstümliche Küche und flotte Bedienung. Die neue Wirtin hat die Tradition der Eremitage beibehalten und nicht irgend welchen Schnickschnack eingeführt. Sie ist sehr charmant im Umgang mit den Gästen. Halt so, wie wir das von Dorle und Rainer als alte Wirtsleute kannten (und kennen, sie helfen ja in Spitzenzeiten noch mit). Schon als Kind bin ich mit meinen Eltern oft Sonntag nachmittags dort eingekehrt. Das ist jetzt mehr als 60 Jahre her. Wenn es irgendwie passt, kommen wir immer wieder gerne hierher. Macht weiter so!

Mal eben einen Abstecher von der Autobahn zu diesem Gasthof machen, lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Ja, es ist etwas abgelegen, aber liebevoll ostalgisch und es ist alles tiptop sauber. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und herzlich willkommen. Die Wirtin hat uns in kürzester Zeit das beste Rostbrätl mit Kroketten und Pommes gezaubert, das wir seit 20 Jahren gegessen haben. Einen Salat gab es natürlich auch noch dazu. Liebe Stammgäste seid nicht sauer, aber liebe Wirtin, Sie sollten für diese Qualität die Preise erhöhen. 😘

Das Essen hat mir nicht gefallen.

Es war nur kurz, aber nichts zu beanstanden. Die Torte war lecker. Für Ortsfremde ist ein Navi hilfreich, und die Straße ist recht schmal, aber vor dem Gasthof sind trotzdem ausreichend Parkplätze.

Tolles Essen, freundliche Bedienung, eine Institution in der Region seit vielen Jahren. Immer wieder gerne.

Una buena alternativa a la comida rápida 9. Llamamos 45 minutos antes de la llegada, y aunque el lugar estaba cerrado y nos dijeron que vengamos de todos modos. Se las arreglaron para producir mágicamente 8 gran schnitzels para nosotros. "Frau" tiene un gran humor seco.

Beim ersten Anblick war ich ehrlich gesagt ein wenig skeptisch. Die Wirtin machte zunächst einen etwas missmütigen Eindruck, was sich jedoch als Fehleinschätzung herrausstellte. Der Service war locker und freundlich. Das Essen war top, es gab allerdings nur eine Tageskarte, die Karte im Aushang am Eingangsbereich war daher nicht wirklich aussagekräftig. Pluspunkte sammelte das Eremitage eindeutig durch das Ambiente, da mir das Alpenflair mit Holzbänken drinnen und draußen sehr gefällt. Ein sehr gelungener Besuch!
