We were at the Margarethe Restaurant Essen today for our 38th wedding anniversary. The table reservation was great. Everything happened over the internet. When we arrived there, we received a very friendly welcome. The table was very festively set. The food was excellent, everything was freshly prepared and the staff was very accommodating. The whole atmosphere is totally relaxing. We will be very happy to come back. LG Diana & Ralph Brill

If German gastronomy has a future then it could look like this. Friendly, down-to-earth, very good food, lovingly prepared. Little to no pre-processed products. Very good.

Quiet location, great food

The wedding pavilion is a great location to celebrate weddings in a relaxed atmosphere and in a wonderful atmosphere! The location is lovingly decorated and the service is extremely friendly and courteous.

...running...ordered food for delivery today at 7:40 p.m. I was told on the phone that the delivery time would be about 45 minutes (8:25 p.m.). The order was supposed to be delivered at 9:20 p.m., about 55 minutes after the previously promised delivery date. I had already lost my appetite and no longer wanted the food, so I didn't accept delivery. Sorry, but deliver the food a good hour later and assume that the customer takes the order and accepts the whole thing...not with me! Either the previously stated delivery time is close to the previously agreed date or the customer is deliberately relying on the forbearance of the customer, who accepts the late delivery. If things get tight, you should employ more staff or simply give an honest answer at the time of delivery. A dissatisfied customer!

I can only recommend the Kästner <3...you can see and feel how much effort, energy, time, money and heart was put into this!! Absolutely no comparison to the previous owner!! This beautiful piece of earth...was finally appreciated...a very nice atmosphere was created with a large beer garden and lots of great little details!! A very nice, dynamic, young and friendly team..great food and a large selection of drinks!! The price-performance ratio is also right!! So...keep it up...👌😊👍

The staff in the store are all, without exception, very nice and friendly. In my opinion, the super kebab roll is unsurpassed in all of Gotha. Both in terms of taste and richness. Gladly and again and again

I visited the Bosporus Kebab House with high expectations because I thought it was the best kebab shop based on the positive reviews in Gotha. Unfortunately I was disappointed. At first, a lot seemed promising: the menu was manageable, the staff was very friendly, the bread stood out from standard kebabs, and even the packaging made an innovative impression. But ultimately these positive aspects couldn't save the overall experience. A big problem was the bread - it proved inconvenient as it tore easily. In the end, the kebab was more like a burger that was open on all sides. In addition, the packaging did not keep the kebab warm enough. Despite only a five-minute drive, it was already lukewarm because the insulation couldn't keep up with aluminum foil. The taste of the meat didn't impress me, and the difficult handling - as the kebab fell apart into its individual parts - lost my appetite. For now I won't eat there again.

We went to the Lutherkeller without making a reservation and were greeted very friendly. Luckily for us, there was also a table available for dinner. A special ambience completed the cosiness. The food came quickly and was extremely tasty. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. If we end up in Gotha again, this restaurant is on our agenda.
