What a pleasant surprise... We were here for lunch today with 6 people and I regret that I always passed by. We were served so kindly, which is unfortunately no longer a given. It starts with little things... For example, I was asked if I wanted my non-alcoholic Hefeweizen with lemon... to be honest, I've never been asked that before. Why not, it's a new taste experience - totally delicious! My twelve year old grandson was asked if he really wanted a large pizza - how thoughtful. And it ended with attention for everyone. And it's all really friendly, but without any exaggeration - totally pleasant. Of course I don't want to leave the most important thing unmentioned - the food was really delicious. Thank you very much, you made my birthday better 😊 … and see you again soon.

Impressed by the many good reviews, we chose the restaurant, also because we really like Italian food. Unfortunately, when I tried my tagliatelle with turkey, I discovered that the latter was hard to enjoy, which I told the waiter. Nevertheless, everything was calculated. Now I didn't want to make a fuss and paid. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately you can only give 5 stars, Capri would have deserved more. We were always treated kindly, the food was almost always perfect, and the service was absolutely excellent. We'd love to come back. The regularly changing daily menu is also excellent. There are always new dishes. Be sure to try the homemade limoncello.

We were passing through and were recommended this place. We were impressed by the food, service and ambience of the restaurant. Price performance is right here. A bit remote but definitely worth a visit.

The antipasti Capri was excellent!

Unfortunately we are disappointed. There was a lot going on, which you can't deny. However, it took over half an hour for the drinks to arrive. The food itself came after 2 hours. It tasted good, but 2 out of 4 had the feeling that the food had been sitting for a while and had to wait for the other food before it was brought to the table. When we asked, we were told that there was a lot going on and a few other “excuses” (some people were going to a concert, there would be staffing problems, etc.). Even the second drink order didn't arrive after two reminders. The staff themselves were friendly and there was a discussion with the boss at the end. We won't come here anymore. It's a shame, we had good memories of the old Capri that are now tarnished.

Our favorite restaurant for years. Great service, super delicious food and the best limoncello in the whole world.

The visit came about by chance and turned out to be very lucky. A great shop with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and gives detailed advice. The menu is extensive and the quality and especially the taste of the food is excellent. It's a shame that we live too far away, otherwise Capri would be our regular place.

Very friendly, never intrusive but always attentive service. If you're hungry, we recommend a starter to fill you up, but the homemade pasta in particular is of absolutely top quality and probably the best in the city.

It was all just top notch. Good service, great food and all that reasonable prices. The only remark we have is that the tuna carpaccio could have been a little more tempered. Would love to come again.

You shouldn't eat there if you're hungry, as the portions are a bit small. We had ordered a dish with porcini mushrooms, but unfortunately we only found 1 piece in the dish. In addition, the food was only lukewarm. Unfortunately, spices were also saved. The atmosphere was appealing, the staff polite, but unfortunately the food there is not recommended.

8 months ago we had dinner here for my daughter's graduation and it was actually delicious except for the 2 mishaps with her food. Today, for her 18th birthday, unfortunately it wasn't so nice on the bruschetta, there was hardly any tomato under the carpaccio, there was iceberg lettuce that didn't really belong there and the salad with the mozzarella in the Parma ham was cold and also with iceberg lettuce even though there was supposed to be rocket on it. The chaos began with the main course: my partner ordered the pike perch fillet, I ordered a pizza of the day with burrata and grilled eggplant and my daughter ordered some pasta with porcini mushrooms and turkey. First the food came from my partner and her, it looked pretty good at first, my friend gave me the first bite and I barely chewed and already felt a piece of wire in my mouth, the waiter asked us to re-close it or something else So my friend took the rump steak, which was one euro cheaper, even if we were supposed to get it on the house, they didn't even bring it to us, but the pike-perch fillet again - he didn't want to eat anything anymore. My daughter's food was cold and after I tried it the noodles were raw and we told the waiter again and he then brought it back to her hot. The pizza itself was delicious, but the dough was way too hard, there weren't enough eggplants on it even though it was supposed to be a pizza like that, and the burrata wasn't that good either. In the end we were supposed to pay for the food we didn't eat, but we got a bottle of wine of our choice on the house, but we didn't think that was fair because we basically hardly or didn't touch the food. In the end we went somewhere else so that my daughter at least got her dessert, her highlight.

The Capri has very tasty, fresh food. There are changing dishes and fixed dishes on the menu. The portions could be a bit larger, but the food is always delicious. I would say it is the best restaurant with Italian cuisine in Gotha. It's great for families with children that there is a play area on the upper floor, so younger children can also be entertained.

extremely recommended At least one dinner at Capri is planned for every visit home. Most of the time there are even several dinners within a week. My godchild, my nephew and I especially love the atmosphere and have declared Capri as our #1 “date restaurant” :) The food is always delicious and the service tops everything we have ever experienced in any gastronomy: be it with the telephone reservation ("We look forward to seeing you!") or with the warm welcome in the restaurant itself, right up to making special requests possible (which are then also known and which are referred to in further orders during follow-up visits). In short: The attentive, attentive and friendly hospitality is in no way inferior to the very good quality of the food. KEEP IT UP! I hope that we can spend many more hours and evenings there. 💚 🤍 ❤️

I found it cozy here and the waiter was very personable and honorable. It tasted good though As a heavy eater, I found them Portion small.

Ein Italiener der mitten Preisklasse. Freundlicher Service, nettes Ambiente . Die Karte ist nicht zu umfangreich und die Gerichte lecker. Am Wochenende sollte man unbedingt reservieren .

Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal mega nett- kenne ich aus unseren Regionen so zuvorkommend und auch fähig eher nicht.

Das war echt lecker, der Service war freundlich und zurückhaltend. Das war echt toll,da es ein geschäftliches Essen. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Das Gericht Spaghetti mit Frutti de Mare in Alufolie war super toll. Echt schönes Lokal

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant, sehr freundliches Personal und das Essen ist auch sehr lecker.

Eigentlich war ich vor kurzem sehr enttäuscht und wollte dieses Lokal nie wieder besuchen. Jetzt hatten wir einen Gutschein geschenkt bekommen und was soll ich sagen? Nicht nur der Service war top, so wie vorher auch, sondern auch die Speisen... Sehr lecker!viel und ausreichend! Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es nur weil wieder einer in der Runde von 4 Personen sein bestelltes essen 10 Minuten später bekommen hat als der Rest am Tisch. Es war auch nicht so voll wie vor einem Monat. Macht geschmacklich weiter so!

Es ist eine sehr angenehmer Gastronomie. Der Service sehr zuvorkommend, stets darauf bedacht, dass sich der Gast wohlfühlt. Das Ambiente ist urig schön. Obwohl wir etwas länger auf das Essen warten mussten, da die location Samstagabend gut frequentiert war, wurde die Zeit nicht lang. Echt zi empfehlen.

Einer der wenigen guten Restaurants in Gotha, wo man lecker essen gehen kann. Der Service war gut, aber noch Verbesserungswürdig. Es hat relativ lange gedauert dass der Kellner vorbei kam, um zu Bestellen, nach zu bestellen oder die Rechnung zu erhalten, anscheinend war er aber auch der Einzige der gekellnert hatte. Dafür war er aber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, besonders Kindern gegenüber. Das Essen war mega lecker, die Soße, das Fleisch und der Salat waren gut portioniert aber die Pommes dagegen sehr karg und etwas zu kross. Aber es war alles soweit man es schmecke konnte, Frisch zubereitet. Das Ambiente sieht gehoben aus und man fühlte sich wohl.

Das Essen [ Nr.94 Costa Azzura] war der absolute Wahnsinn.....hier gibt es auch den besten Lambrusco!!!!!! Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service....bis bald...Katja und Anja

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant, mit sehr freundlichem Personal und einem guten Angebot. Die Tageskarte sollte man nicht außer acht lassen. Preis-Leistung stimmt und die Qualität der Speisen ist immer frisch.

Ein wirklich tolles Restaurant, super Ambiente, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen schmeckt auch immer wieder toll. Heute habe ich jedoch das 1. Mal Pizza dort gegessen und war erschrocken, wieviel Rand die Pizza hat. Leider nicht so meins, deswegen keine volle Punktzahl. Der Limoncello zum Abschluss war einfach ein Traum 😇

Essen sowie Service sehr sehr gut. Die Kellner haben immer einen flotten Spruch drauf und sind sehr hilfsbereit. Wir werden definitiv nochmal kommen.

Spontan was zum Abendessen gesucht....und Google sei Dank, dieses tolle italienische Restaurant gefunden. Sehr nette, aufmerksame Mitarbeiter. Leckeres Essen, tolles Ambiente im Innenbereich. Wir können das Vitello tonnato, die Pizzen und die gemischte Vorspeisenauswahl sehr empfehlen. Als Dessert haben wir Limoncelloeis mit heißen Waldbeeren gegessen, und auch das möchten wir weiter empfehlen. Zum Abschluss ein leckerer Crema di limoncello. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Pizza war so matschig, dass man sie am besten mit einem Löffel essen konnte. Am Ende waren auf der Rechnung Sachen drauf, die wir gar nicht bestellt hatten. Wir hatten das Restaurant zum Feiern des Geburtstags ausgesucht, dadurch noch extra peinlich. Kein Grund wieder zu kommen. Die zwei Sterne sind nur für das Ambiente.

Nettes Personal, guter Service und Essen, was Lust auf weitere Besuche gemacht hat. Leider waren wir zeitlich etwas unter Druck.

Alles Top! Da es gut besucht war, haben wir etwas länger aufs Essen warten müssen, jedoch war die Bedienung klasse und das warten hat sich gelohnt. Besonders lecker war auch der Hausgemachte Limoncello 😊

Tolles Lokal mit super Ambiente. Wir haben Pizza und einen Salat als Vorspeise bestellt. Der Salat war sehr gut. Die Pizza war leider nichts besonderes. Sie schmeckte zwar gut, aber der Geschmack war eher durchschnittlich. Als Getränk nahmen wir Holunderschorle mit dem hausgemachten Holundersirup. Diese ist wirklich sehr lecker! Der Service war toll, die Kellner waren aufmerksam und freundlich. Vor allem das Ambiente mit den Dekowänden ist sehr schön! Zu empfehlen!

Waren das 1. Mal hier und waren angenehm überrascht.Essen war sehr gut und Service ebenfalls. Limoncello auch hervorragend. Preis Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung. Kommen jederzeit wieder.

Essen war sehr lecker trotz das es 2 mal falsch gebracht wurde man hat sich für das Missgeschick sofort entschuldigt und es von der Rechnung abgezogen aber Bedienung 3 war und ist sehr süß

Teller werden mit Salat "voll" gemacht, Pommes und Rumpsteakstteifen waren kalt ... für die Preise absolut nicht zu empfehlen.
