Fresh, healthy, and very delicious Indian food at a reasonable price. Super friendly people, too. Great alternative to heavy German food or the omni-present döner kabob. The photo is of chicken saag, or chicken and spinach curry... for 7€. 🥰 Would consider going back to Görlitz just to eat here again.

Amazing place!!! Fast service and workers understand english. Me and my partner ordered their Bibimbap and Shrimp Burger alongside Homemade Kimchi... absolutely delicious. We couldn't stop saying "it's so good". 10/10 would recommend as a lunch. Thank you!

Wie kann man bei diesen Temperaturen (Regen, keine 9 Grad) die Tür bis zum Anschlag öffnen und damit die Gäste vergraulen. Sorry, ich mag den Laden, aber der Herr hinter der Theke geht gar nicht. Vor allem, weil er die Tür nach meinem Schließen wenige Minuten später wieder offensiv geöffnet hat! Frechheit. Daher kann ich auch keine Punkte fürs Ambiente geben. Das sind ja Welten zur Gottschedstrasse!

Had dinner there around lunchtime with two small children. The service employee was rather unfriendly and reserved, but the orders came to the table quickly. For starters we had fried gyoza with chicken and yakitori skewers. The gyoza were delicious, the skewers took some getting used to as they were very sweet and sticky and almost cold. Both were covered with sauces and served on iceberg lettuce. The main course was tempura sushi with salmon and maki with tuna and eel. Very tasty, we would come back again just for the tempura. The sushi is freshly prepared, the maki was also good, but nothing special. What bothered us was that the sushi was stacked on a small wooden board and had these two sauces (yellow and brown) poured over it. The sauces have snack character and otherwise I wouldn't classify the food as particularly authentic. There were some dishes on the menu that were labeled as having flavor enhancers - a shame! The ambience is OK. Snack bar character, clean, a bit too dark. We'd love to come back for the tempura with salmon and the Kiss Peach (peach ice tea).

My partner and I often go to the Volksgarten restaurant, usually to end the evening or weekend comfortably with a drink, but also to eat. We had already organized a celebration there. The review is actually long overdue! 😁 Why? Here everything is made from scratch and everything is cooked with heart and soul, which you not only see when the food is prepared, but also always tastes delicious! The portions are always ideal in our opinion, not too much and not too little. Individual wishes can also be fulfilled here after consultation. ✨ Stefan, the owner and chef, always does his job excellently. But just like the soul of the house: Betti! 🥰 She serves the guests with wit and natural charm, is attentive and always friendly, even when she is under a lot of stress. I would also definitely like to highlight the constantly changing dishes on the menu, which we find interesting and exciting. Because the food is seasonal and regional and there is variety, which makes eating out a surprise every time. We only shop here as needed, as Stefan is very careful not to waste any food - which is another plus point for us at the Volksgarten restaurant. There is actually always something for vegetarians. The atmosphere is nice and rustic and the music is always good. 😃👍🏻 With so much sense, intellect, sustainability and passion, I can definitely give 5 stars in every area with full conviction. Call, reservation is worth it!

The restaurant is okay but nothing special. My expectations were a little higher after the many positive reviews. Maybe we just didn't order the right thing. The ambience is quite nice. Unfortunately, the aquarium didn't look particularly well maintained. I really liked the plates. The many parking spaces in front of the restaurant are of course really great.

Greek eatery that is outstanding in every way. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant and the food was delicious. I felt completely at home and can only warmly recommend this restaurant.

The food is simply amazing and always delicious, it's a shame that eating out is neglected during the Corona period, but you have the option of picking up the food from time to time. We treated ourselves to a Sunday dinner. HEAVENLY and plentiful. Highly recommended!
