I could have known. As soon as I walked in and saw that the operators were Indian or Pakistani, it was almost clear to me that the spaghetti wouldn't work. But everyone deserves a chance and I like to test different providers. First of all, the ambience - not very inviting. I don't want to eat there at all. Regardless, the woman at the counter was friendly and I didn't have to wait very long for my spaghetti. At €7.50 they weren't exactly cheap, but considering the result they were completely overpriced. This brings me to the meal itself. The spaghetti a la pesto. Promoted on the menu with fresh! Basil, garlic and cream sauce. The fact that the spaghetti was no longer al dente and was just about to overcook was the lesser evil. Not even a trace of fresh basil! The dish was covered in thick cream and, if at all, saw a teaspoon full of pesto. I suspect that ground, dried basil and granulated garlic were used. Apart from the cream there was almost nothing to taste. The whole thing was one big mess. Sorry, but if you can't cook, you shouldn't! Conclusion: Food was a total failure - a shame for the money. The friendly service doesn't help either. Maybe the pizza is better, but I'm afraid that has nothing to do with the Italian original.
Curry dish is great. Lots of vegetables, lots of spices. By the way, such a curry is also medicine for a sore throat. This is no joke - you have to try it.
Ate a pizza in Heidenau today after many years, never again. It used to be so delicious in the dough house and today it's just rubbish. I don't know if the salami pizza even had salami on it because of all the cheese. In any case, it didn't taste like anything except herbs, which were plentiful.
Not really recommended. We ordered through Lieferando and the pizzas were rather disappointing. The extra ingredients we paid for were completely forgotten and the olives on the pizza were pitted!? The pizzas were a little too greasy but at least they were warm. All in all, rather modest.
Unfortunately, at the moment only drinks and a minimal range of food are possible. We really hope that the location will get better again soon. But a good calculator is always possible.
Beware of rip-offs!
The app advertises a 30% discount on a footlong sub. Participating restaurant at Leipzig/Halle Airport, see attached image. Because of this, I didn't pick up the sub from my local restaurant (the promotions always work there), but waited at the airport, knowing full well that subs cost €1 more here at the airport.
After waiting 20 minutes, we were served by the only (!) employee present. The line in front of and behind us was extremely long; it's incomprehensible why no other employees were there to help.
During the payment process, the app was scanned, the discount was recognized, and the employee immediately manually deleted it from the register, explaining that she was sorry, but her boss had forbidden her to accept it. Of course, our order was already completely ready, and we had to catch the plane, so we avoided further discussion, especially since the employee was obviously uncomfortable with it. Advance notice would have been helpful.
The second star is only because the Asian-looking employee was friendly and the sub was tasty.
I hope Subway headquarters reads this and takes action against this rip-off and its franchisee.
Unfortunately experienced a total failure today. The food itself is tasty and the employees are friendly too.
BUT: We ordered a kebab plate with fries - every other restaurant in the area serves meat. Fries and salad. Unfortunately there is no salad here.
Called. Complained. Unfortunately, 0 insight. First we should have taken a large plate of kebab, there would be a salad (it's not on the menu), then a plate of kebab with fries would always be just meat and fries - so I asked what the difference was to a kebab box, but unfortunately I didn't get an answer.
Although you can choose between a small or large kebab plate with fries on the menu, you have to know that only the large salad is included. Sorry, that's bullshit. I have no idea why it works like that here, but they should actually know what a kebab plate means to everyone else in the city and that their customers also have a certain idea.
In any case, we only had greasy fries with meat and sauce without a bit of fresh salad. Very annoying!! >:-(
