It's been a long time since I've been to the Akropolis Grill Halle Essen and the new property is absolutely amazing! The wall paintings are a real eye-catcher and give the restaurant a great atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious - you can tell that the quality has been right here for years. I would particularly like to highlight the super friendly team that makes you feel welcome. Absolute recommendation, I would love to come back here

I've often gotten kebabs and casseroles here and I'm always really happy with them. The service is great, you can order by phone and pick it up in 20 minutes. The sauces are delicious and the shop is always well maintained. Service is always friendly and prices are reasonable. The only criticism I have is that the pictures on the menus are now out of date, the offer is still correct, but the price has of course changed like everywhere else... I would just like to see more current pictures. Otherwise great kebab, I'll always come back. 👍

Everything is perfect here, furnished with passion and attention to detail by the owner, a very nice and attentive team, a typical pub-appropriate menu plus attractive daily dishes, music and pure cosiness. Special praise for the fresh preparation of the very good food - homemade instead of ready-made. Highly recommended. 👍👍🖖

If I could, I wouldn't give it a star. Today I ordered two Dürüm doner kebabs to pick up, one regular and one with cheese (it was supposed to be without feta cheese), and one with regular cheese. I got feta cheese, but that wouldn't have been so bad if the doner kebabs had been warm. The doner kebabs were all cold and completely inedible; even after reheating, they were inedible. See photo for the quality of the doner kebabs. I have a different idea of ​​a Dürüm doner. I certainly won't be getting a kebab from there again.

A very nice experience, drinks were cool and you could choose them yourself. The mango and lychie juice was also very tasty. The staff was very nice and friendly, the atmosphere was nice and the small aquarium was a very nice and tasty experience. We had duck with rice once and baked chicken twice. Everything was very tasty and the portions were large and the price-performance ratio was definitely met. Definitely worth a visit and we'll be back :)
