We felt very comfortable and would love to visit again.

We came here yesterday as a substitute and weren't disappointed. Small and cozy Greek restaurant. The owner is a very friendly man. You can tell that the quality of the food and the satisfaction of his guests are very important to him. The gyros was nicely sliced ​​thin and crispy. The Cretan potatoes were superb. And the honey balls were just as they should be—not too big and nice and soft. I will definitely come back.

We've been ordering from here for several years and have always been extremely satisfied with the delivery service. Yesterday, we finally took the time to eat in the restaurant itself – and it was a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy; you immediately feel welcome. The service was warm, attentive, and simply fantastic. We're certain: not only is the delivery service impressive, but dining in is too. We'll definitely be back.

My companion and I were here for the first time, and we absolutely loved it! Vegetarians can also enjoy a good meal here, especially if they stick to the delicious appetizers and pasta dishes. Be warned, the appetizers are really generous portions! Despite it being Dry January, we were greeted with a complimentary shot of schnapps, and even though we were completely stuffed after our meal, the waiter managed to persuade us to have a small portion of honey balls. The decor is very charming. Greek folk music plays in the background, and the staff is efficient and very friendly! The prices are reasonable, and the portions are very generous. We highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

The food was ordered over two and a half hours ago. It simply hasn't arrived. After two phone calls, both of which said the same thing – "The food's coming right away" – we cancelled the order. Think twice before ordering from them.

We've always used this Greek restaurant's delivery service and have been thrilled every time; the food has always been delicious. So we were even more delighted to hear that you can now dine in. Today we went there and were absolutely delighted. The restaurant is very stylish and modern, not huge, but pleasantly small and really cozy. It was wonderfully quiet and relaxed. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. When we received a wine that was too warm, it was immediately and without any fuss replaced with a chilled white wine – incredibly kind and professional. The food was, as expected, simply outstanding. We especially appreciated the little treat at the end: you automatically receive ouzo and honey balls for dessert. My husband still fancied an extra dessert, and even though it wasn't on the menu, the team quickly whipped up a little something special for him. We thought that was absolutely wonderful. A highly recommended restaurant with great service and fantastic food. We will definitely be back!

The delivery and service were absolutely unacceptable. I spent almost an hour on the phone chasing after my food. First, they said I hadn't accepted the delivery from the driver. Then they said he was at the address – completely unacceptable. Later, it turned out the driver wasn't even there. Not a word of apology, and I'm still waiting for my food, which is surely cold by now. I do not recommend this delivery service. Their customer service is nonexistent.

We had party service and it was delicious. We'd be happy to go again.

We ate very well there, with large portions of fish platter.

We picked up our food, and it was perfectly fine for the price ☺️. Anyone expecting a larger portion will have to go somewhere else and, of course, pay more 🙋‍♂️

Wow! Absolutely fantastic! We ordered catering from Akropolis Grill for our confirmation ceremony. We're incredibly happy! Everything was delicious and freshly prepared, except for the fries, and the food arrived right on time! Personally, we felt the fries could have used a bit more seasoning, and thicker fries would probably be better for catering. But we will definitely order from you again and wholeheartedly recommend you!

We ordered food for our team day at the hospital a day in advance, hoping for a smooth delivery. Unfortunately, the food arrived late, and some orders were incomplete or incorrect. The packaging was also less than ideal, which somewhat spoiled the overall experience. It's a shame, as we were really looking forward to sharing the meal together. We would be happy to see improvements like this in the future—the potential is definitely there.

I visited Akropolis Grill in Halle-Essen for the first time in ages, and the new location is absolutely fantastic! The murals are a real eye-catcher and give the restaurant a wonderful atmosphere. The food is delicious – you can tell the quality has been consistently high for years. I especially want to highlight the incredibly friendly team who make you feel welcome. Good day. I ordered today for the first time via the homepage. The prices are perfectly reasonable for today's times. My order came quite quickly. The gentleman was very friendly. Unfortunately, the packaging reminded me a lot of the loveless school lunches of my childhood. The meat was OK. I didn't like the tomato rice at all. The dessert was plentiful and delicious. All in all I won't order again, it's a shame.

My friend ordered food. Quality was simply inadequate.

The operator has hired a lawyer and is currently suing people who share their bad experiences on Google. Reviews should reflect experiences with the business. And here a law for hotels is applied. But the store is a TAKE AWAY. Like McDonald's. Go there, pay and take away. This is such shabby behavior! In short, we got overcooked, really soft food back then. The taste wasn't at all Greek, and €30 was paid for a quantity that wouldn't even satisfy a child. Have a nice day.

We ordered catering for 10 people. The company's website states that depending on where you live, there may be a delivery fee of €15. Even though we live just around the corner, we were charged €15, which was not reflected in the final total of the order. The promised email to review the invoice/order was not sent. The owner then said that “he is not a server”. Outrageous! So it's a deliberate fraud! The €15 is collected even if the catering is only carried across the street. The catering from Corfu Grill (although further away) was delivered free of charge instead and tasted very good.

I have ordered there twice so far and have been very satisfied. Food arrived quickly and it tasted very tasty too. At some point I would like to come there for dinner.

We recently ordered and were quite disappointed with all the great reviews here. The food arrived almost cold and unfortunately the taste was not convincing either. The soggy fries were inedible and the main courses below average. The starters were also not convincing as they were simply cold. The quality of the food doesn't suit us.

Ordering and collection were quick and uncomplicated. Gyros in Metaxasauca was delicious. Once with potato wedges and once with fries. The fries didn't taste that good and the coleslaw (unfortunately not fresh) didn't come from a jar or can either.

We like to use the delivery service once a year. The food today was again extremely tasty and plentiful. And above all, delivery took place just 25 minutes after ordering. Price-performance ratio unbeatable. My clear recommendation.

On Saturday we ordered a buffet at the Acropolis Grill for 30 people. The delivery person arrived before the agreed time, was very friendly, courteous and presented the food attractively. All dishes were hot and tasted very tasty. We chose the variant with: meat skewers, pork steaks, souzoukaki, gyros, rice, potato wedges, etc. All extras were taken into account, such as what I call extra divine sauce (Metaxa sauce). All the guests were very enthusiastic and we will definitely order the buffet here again at the next opportunity!!

We used the catering/party service. The food is really very good and fresh and was delivered on time. It was delivered in chafis and set up in a buffet style. Additional delivery costs €15.00 for a goods value of €300 and a 5km journey, which was okay. BUT: as a customer we had to bring the containers back ourselves! And will never be delivered again because we didn't clean the chafis. What kind of bad service is this? Very ridiculous. Due to this impossible behavior on the part of the provider, no recommendation for the catering service.

We ordered menu #5 for the celebration. It was delivered and set up at the agreed time by a friendly employee. The menu was very fresh and delicious. It was plentiful and tasty. Whenever we don't feel like cooking in the evening, there's only one option: pick up the phone and order it from Akropolis-Grill, a short time later we're sitting together over a delicious Greek meal and enjoying cold and warm starters and baked goods or crisp salads. So we can spend the evening comfortably at home without stress. The lady on the phone is friendly, knows immediately where the delivery should be made and there are no language problems. It tells you how much you have to pay and how long it will take for the delivery to arrive (the food usually arrives earlier than expected). The delivery is quick and complete and if a little thing is missing, it will be delivered as quickly as possible or credited for the next time. The food is delicious, the portions are sufficient, everything is at the right temperature and well packaged. We are always very satisfied. We have also used the party service a few times, everything was perfect and according to our wishes. All in all, the service and price-performance ratio are optimal, the food is delicious and we can recommend Akropolis-Grill at any time!!! Today we were even able to use the delivery service for the holiday!!! Keep it up!!!

Ich bin seit Jahren Stammkundin und das Essen, das Ambiente sowie das Personal ist Top. Die Metaxasoße ist mehr als nur zu empfehlen. Wir haben auch schon ein paar mal den Partyservice genutzt und waren super zufrieden. Wenn saulecker griechisch dann dort !!! Da kann kein anderer Grieche in Halle mithalten.

Zwischenzeitlich habe ich wohl fast alle griechischen Lieferdienste im Umkreis getestet, der Akropolis-Grill könnte zu meinem Favoriten avancieren. Die Metaxasoße war top, das Gyros mager und fein geschnitten, der Tomatenreis eher unaufdringlich. Ich bestelle gern wieder.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung. Essen war lecker und reichlich. Aber die knoblauchpeperoni schmeckten nicht nach knoblauch. Und der zazicki haette auch mehr knoblauch vertragen können. Aber alles in einen sehr lecker 😋

Super Essen und Catering. Das Tzatziki ist Bombe! Nur die gefüllten Bifteki sollten nachgebessert werden. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen!
