Kurz gesagt: hervorragend, auch die glutenfreien Varianten sind erstklassig.

Es ist jedesmal sehr lecker gewesen und der Service ist super. Durch hohe Sitzlehnen und halbhohe Mauern wird der Raum geteilt. Es ist relativ laut, aber man kann sich unterhalten. Wir sind jedesmal sehr zufrieden.

Unscheinbar in einem Wohngebiet von Halle. Typisch griechisch eingerichtet. Essen war mega reichlich, der Preis angemessen. Dazu 3 Ouzo.

Waren mit 6 Personen und jeder sage sehr lecker , Super Service und sehr schickes Ambiente 👍 Nach Bestellung gab es sehr schnell Getränke an den Tisch und essen hat auch nicht lange auf sich warten lassen. Wer auch immer gut essen möchte sollte sich das auf jeden Fall anschauen. Von mir/uns eine klare Empfehlung 👍

Ich war zum ersten Mal im Restaurant Mati in Halle und war wirklich überrascht und sehr zufrieden. Tolles Ambiente, gemütlich und erstaunlich groß. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und schön angerichtet. Es wird hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt. Der Service war freundlich und professionell. Ich komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder, wenn ich wieder nach Halle komme!

Ich war bereits zum zweiten Mal im Restaurant Mati in Halle und bin wieder sehr zufrieden. Besonders am 14. Februar war die Atmosphäre wirklich schön – angenehm, gemütlich und perfekt für einen entspannten Abend. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und schön angerichtet. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Auch der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Ich komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und kann das Restaurant Mati in Halle nur weiterempfehlen.

Kellner waren aufmerksam, das Essen ist gut aber hebt sich nicht von anderen ab.

Waren zum Mittagessen, es gibt eine spezielle Mittagskarte, mit schmackhaften und preiswerten Essen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Vorweg: Das Essen war reichlich und wirklich gut. Die Preise sind angemessen. Die Kellner schnell und zuvorkommend. Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat: In dem Restaurant ist es SEHR laut. Es war proppevoll. Keine Ahnung, wie viele Menschen dort Platz haben. Eine Unterhaltung ist nur möglich, wenn man sich über den Tisch beugt. Der nächste Kritikpunkt: Zwischen der Beendigung der Vorspeise und dem Servieren des Hauptganges lagen ca. 10 Sekunden. Wir vermuten, dass der Hauptgang schon eine Weile stand. Die Kellner schauten schon immer, wie weit wir waren. Im Großen und Ganzen war es fast schon eine „Massenabfertigung“. Wer es gemütlich haben will, ist dort falsch. Wem das egal ist, kann dort wirklich gut essen. Wir werden aber wohl nicht wiederkommen. Ich mag es ruhiger und nicht so hektisch. Aber nochmal: Das Essen war wirklich gut!

Ja Toller Grieche, Preis Leistung Stimmt. Belegschaft ist immer Freundlich. Probiert unbedingt die Knoblauch Bratkartoffeln 😋

Good evening 🙏 On Boxing Day, we were a party of five and the food was excellent ‼️🌲 The only thing we have to complain about is that we didn't receive a bill, even after asking several times 🫣 This was incomprehensible to us ‼️ We had paid, so it's only logical that we would receive a bill 🙏 Why this didn't happen is a mystery to us... 🤨 Therefore, we will refrain from visiting again for the time being, which I personally find very disappointing ‼️ Best regards, Monika Papendick P.S. The food was okay in terms of taste, but could have been warmer. The dining room was very cold. The ambiance makes it suitable for parties.

This was our second visit today. The food was very good and plentiful. The staff was also friendly and attentive. However, it was very busy today, which resulted in some short waiting times. We do have one negative comment, though. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very noisy due to the layout. It was like being in a train station.

The restaurant is easy to find. On the day I was there, they were offering a buffet. As a result, it was extremely crowded, making a relaxed meal impossible. The server was very slow and then forgot to bring the food, probably because most people were eating from the buffet. The food itself was very good; there was nothing to complain about there. When the server was present, she was very friendly. The prices were reasonable.

In addition to all the positive aspects, another thing worth mentioning is the revitalization of the neighborhood. Previously, the corner was dead, and Mati was an abandoned supermarket. There were hardly any other restaurants in the area either. Mati is enhancing the entire neighborhood and bringing it to life, as it's located at a pedestrian hub. And that can't be overstated!

We visited the restaurant one evening with friends, and everyone was more than satisfied. The ambiance is truly lovely, and the food was truly delicious! Large portions at a fair price. My partner and I paid only €50 together (including tip). The noise level was normal, and it was easy to have a conversation. I would definitely recommend it!👍🏻

Very delicious food. Very good value for money. Plenty of seating, inside and outside. Very friendly, helpful, and dedicated staff, good teamwork despite the busy times. As a guest, you feel like you're being attentively served. Of course, the noise level in this restaurant is a bit higher due to its size and popularity, especially on weekends. But it would be sad if we all had nothing left to say to each other. There's also plenty of capacity for large celebrations. Many thanks to the great staff there!

Yes, it was the first time there and I was positively surprised. Only the dishes and cutlery are important, which is very nice. I myself am from the catering industry and I value cleanliness, especially the toilets.

The food is, as always, delicious, hot, and fresh. The price is reasonable, as is the atmosphere in the restaurant. It's very clean and well-maintained. Excellent service and very friendly.

We love it here. Everything from the typical Germanized Greek food to the authentic Greek Stifado tastes good, the ouzo is generous, and the service is usually very courteous and prompt. Despite the increased prices compared to last year, it still gets full marks. My personal favorite is the surprise plate.

I found it very loud. The service was attentive but overwhelmed. Starters, drinks, and main course all arrived at the same time, but the food was good.

The staff is super nice and makes you feel comfortable. The menu is like that of almost every Greek restaurant, unfortunately without any highlights or variety. There were also reasons to return the food, but this situation was resolved in a very friendly and courteous manner. We love being here and would love to come back.

We were in a group of 10 people, with prior reservation. Staff completely overwhelmed...crowds of people, so you had no chance of getting to the buffet. Disaster. We ended up ordering from the menu, which was just okay... We also had to wait quite a long time for the drinks. In the end, the calculation wasn't right either. We cannot recommend this restaurant.

Have been to Mati several times and now for the second time at an event. Unfortunately we were disappointed again, there is a difference whether you go at normal times or to a concert/ - all can your eat. The staff is simply not adapted even though there are more guests. This has an extreme effect on the waiting time and takes away the feeling of relaxation. The six of us were really disappointed. In addition, there were no desserts other than a small number of fruits. Waiting time when paying 45 minutes was about to leave without paying.

First time there. Table pre-ordered at the beginning of April, eaten on April 30th. Everything worked so far, air-conditioned room and we were on our own. Have ordered Buffett food, and I really recommend it, it's just delicious and it's always beautifully refilled. BUT the service... At the beginning everything was great until one of us didn't like the Paulaner. Something else was ordered to drink and that took... Took... Took... After 30 minutes I went to the counter and asked if the drink had been forgotten.... ANSWER: I'll be right back... 40 minutes later, a MAN goes there, the drink is there. ________________ Are they misogynistic?

More of a big pub atmosphere than a restaurant atmosphere! We went for a birthday dinner with 14 people. Despite booking 4 weeks in advance, we didn't get any consecutive seats. After us, many people were turned away despite reservations. Because there were so many people, there was a penetratingly high noise level the entire time. The service staff seemed extremely annoyed with every order and a lot of things were simply forgotten while eating. However, there was nothing to complain about in terms of quality or taste. Conclusion: Not a restaurant for a cozy evening!

If I only rate the food, definitely YES. The four of us were in this restaurant today from 6:00 p.m. Every meal we ordered was delicious, without any compromises. But the later it got, it got extremely loud at times, and it was very busy - which speaks for the quality of the food. Unfortunately we didn't receive anything from our second drink order. After a long wait we decided to go to the counter and pay.

The service and food there is first class

Best gyros in front of the gentleman with a sufficient portion of tzatziki. The tomato rice is always just overcooked rice with ketchup elsewhere, but here the rice is really well made and delicious. The outside of the building is ghetto-like but the inside is okay. I liked the high benches on the left side because they offer privacy.

When you come across the back yard, it doesn't really look inviting and you think about turning back. When you arrive inside, you are greeted politely and taken to your seat. The food tasted good, but not amazing or plentiful. All in all, you can do it, but you don't have to, there are better Greek restaurants.

The food at Mati tastes very good and is served quickly. We feel very comfortable here! If you wait a little longer, a quarter liter of ouzo will help. Always happy ☺️

No ouzo, neither before nor after the meal. Food was carelessly prepared and you had to wait a really long time. The ambience in the back area was like a beer garden. Waiters walked around haphazardly. To pay you had to go to the counter and say what you had ordered. You could have just left and no one would have noticed. There are plenty of other Greeks who are much better. Never again

There were 20 of us in the restaurant and we were very surprised. Typically Greek, large and cozy. There was something for everyone to eat and the prices were also very reasonable. It was delicious and definitely recommended.

The gyro was cold but tasted good. The salad is presented a bit carelessly and the sauce from the bucket is simply slapped on top. Metaxa sauce tasted like ready-made sauce. There was an extra children's menu, which is good, but the prices for the children's meals are completely overpriced. Almost 9 or 10 Eur for fries with 4 chicken nuggets. Unfortunately, despite the lack of activity, the staff wasn't very attentive. Too bad.

We always like to go here, the food is tasty and plentiful, the staff is very friendly and tries to serve quickly despite the restaurant being full, which has always worked so far. We order in advance by phone on weekends or public holidays, so we always get a table. During the week there is a lunch menu, smaller, cheaper dishes, you will still be full and everything is freshly prepared. For us in the south of Halle it's a perfect place to eat. 😊👍
